We stayed here for a full month and want to add to all the favorable reviews below. The Cliffs is a lovely complex and we were amazed at all the work constantly but quietly done, to keep the property in top condition. Parking was close and convenient, with few steps to negotiate with luggage and shopping bags. We used the closest pool, which is heated, and the accompanying hot tub almost daily and found the on-site facilities to be excellent. The location of this rental is awesome, with a freeway less than five minutes away, easy access for travel to Sedona, Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, etc. A small strip mall just down the road provided necessities like groceries and gas while the huge Paradise Valley mall nearby had great stores and restaurants. The condo itself is everything that previous reviewers have enthused about, clean and with all amenities. Its small square footage is well-organized so seems roomy enough. We found it very modern, comfortable and user friendly. For two people, each being able to use a bedroom with its own full bathroom was a nice luxury on holiday but allows for a couple of family or friends to stay too. We were so impressed at how quiet the place was, both day and night. The owners were friendly, quick to respond to our e-mails and in returning our deposit. All in all, a wonderful vrbo rental!Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

The location was fantastic - very central and close to major freeways, shopping, dining and the airport. The unit was very well stocked, quiet and extremely comfortable. The rooms was well furnished with cookware, tons of towels, nice bedding and everything else you could need. The washer and dryer in the condo was the best and it had exceptional storage. It exceeded our expectations and was a great value for the Christmas season. The owners were wonderful to work with prior to and during the stay. We have family in Phoenix and would definitely use the condo in the future. We highly recommend it.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our condo was well stocked with everything we could need, was very clean and tastefully decorated. It was located close to several interstate highways which made it accesible to various locations we wanted to visit. There were books and pamphlets with suggestions of things to do in the Phoenix area which we took advantage of. Overall our experience was great and I would stay in this condo again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We were very satisfied with the condo and its furnishings. The location was fantastic- across the street from the North Mountain Reserve and only two minutes from either 17 or 51 (the two major north-south freeways). The condo was located right next to the parking, pool and rec room. The room was well furnished with cookware, tons of towels, nice bedding and everything else you could want. We love condos because we can save money by dining in and can bring fewer clothes because of laundry access. This was great for both of these objectives. The room was just as advertised and seen in the photos. The owners were great to work with prior to and during the stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

My wife and I were highly satisfied with the rental of this condo. The owners were easy to work with when we needed to adjust our schelule and were prompt with respond to our early inquiries. The condo was well furnished with everything we needed and was conveniently located to parking and the pool. it was also convenient to grocery stores, malls and restaurants as well as to the interstates and major highways. We have stayed at several condos and townhouses throughout the Phoenix area but if available we will select this one on our return.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

We had a great time at the rental. The pool is right out the door & it made for easy fun with our daughter. Condo was just as described in listing. We really apprieciated the helpful book of information you had in the condo too. The location was perfect for our family & friends, but close to everything one would need. We stayed at this property March 17-31, 2012 . We agree with all of the positive things other people have stated in their reviews . The various cooking and cleaning supplies and appliances excedded our expectations as did the supply of bathroom supplies .The furniture was appropriate and appeared to be relatively new. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and our damage deposit was promptly returned.The condo unit is conveniently located within the complex in a quiet area . Although it was not an issue for us we noted that the complex did not have play structures for children to enjoy.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

My wife and I recently spent a week at the Cliffs and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we entered we were impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the furnishings. Beds were extremely comfortable, appliances were new and efficient, the two tv's were a bonus since March madness was on during our stay. Great location that is close to a variety of attractions and entertainment as well as being literally across the street from some great hiking trails. I would highly recommend staying at Dan & Brenda's condo at the cliff's if you are planning on being in the Phoenix area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My wife and I were very pleased with our stay here. It is stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were sincere in making sure we were comfortable with the Condo. The area was quiet, the fitness building was adequate, the pool was clean heated and the hot tub was nice as well. We were impressed with how well the grounds were cared for. The location is central to most shopping and dining as well as hiking and golf. We would definetly consider staying here again.Recommended for: Age 55+

I had the oppourtunity to stay at this location for a week and the unit was amazing. The quality of the unit is stunning, just like the pictures. Extremely clean, well maintained, beautiful new furniture and everything to make you feel like you are staying in a 5 star room. The free wireless is a bonus as most hotels will charge you extra $$$. I had occasion to spend some time by the clean and welcoming pool that`s mere steps from this unit, along with the fitness room that provides all you need to get in a good workout ( treadmills, free weights etc). The grounds of the complex are very clean and well maintained and if you are a bbq enthusiast, you will enjoy the bbq`s throughout the complex to cook up your favorite meal. This unit and complex are well situated in North Phoenix and very close to all you need. Mere minutes from a starbucks, deli`s, grocery stores etc. Only a 5 minute drive to Paradise Valley Mall, Costco, Target, Walmart and a dozen different restaruants of your choosing. I was able to find the marketplace at Desert Ridge which was a quick drive up SR51 and 2 min east on loop 101. While in Phoenix, had the opportunity to check out a baseball game in downtown phoenix and a hockey game at Westgate citycentre in Glendale, both less than 20 min by car from this unit. Same goes for the distance from Skyharbor Airport. If your a golfer, this unit is strategically placed close to several golf courses and if your a shopper, the shopping is everywhere within a 10 minute drive. The owners were quite amazing to deal with and booking this unit was a breeze. I will definitely be a repeat customer and would recommend this unit to anyone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We chose this rental to be near family staying 5km away. We were very comfortable in the unit and were surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was. We took advantage of the hot tub and bbq as well. We found the unit quiet and comfortable for us. We were happy to be right across from trails which we ran every other day. It was easy to get from the condo to Scotsdale, the Jobing.com Centre for NHL hockey, downtown to the airport, and to leave Phoenix to travel to Sedona, the Grand Canyon etc. My husband discovered lots of good golf course within an easy drive. We found the information binder left by the owners very helpful.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at "Your Desert Mountain Getaway" for a week in May. The condo was equipped with "everything" that you could possibly need. Well maintained and a very good location. We would highly recommend this condo for your stay in Phoenix. Close to the Paradise Valley Mall, Scottsdale, Carefree and so many restaurants. We like Valle Luna Mexican restaurant. Hiking trails right across the street from the condo. The condo was perfect. Very clean and had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were very useful. The condo was a bit small but was more than adequate for 2 people. It's on the first floor and right by parking so it's convenient and easily accessible with luggage. The complex was quiet and not very busy, so it was quite relaxing. The location was great and centrally located in North Phoenix. Dan and Brenda were great to work with and we would definitely rent from them again. They really thought of everything. My husband and I just returned (29 Apr 2011) from spending 3 weeks in the condo. First thing I have to say, it that the unit was exactly as shown in your pictures, which was nice to find. So often you arrive at a location and the pictures are quite old and nothing is the way you were expecting it to be, so we are very happy. The location is great and easy access to everything. Local residents in the complex were very friendly and helpful with shopping and restaurant suggestions. The unit itself, was perfect. Nicely decorated and plenty of space and very clean and modern. We would most definately return again and enjoy this property again. The hosts are very helpful and accessible, and a big thank you for making our first experience using VRBO such a successful event. If all the VRBO hosts, are as nice as you, then I doubt I will be staying in a hotel again very often!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My parents rented this property for a month and really enjoyed their experience. The unit had many amenities that are desirable for an extended stay: onsite laundry, internet access, fitness center, well stocked kitchen, and close access to stores and major highways. The condo appeared to be recently renovated and my parents praised the craftsmanship and decoration. To top it all, my parents' flight was cancelled and the owners allowed them to stay an extra day. We were very comfortable in the condo even though it is small. It was a great value for what we needed. The community room was a very nice asset to have when family came by to visit since the living room in the condo is small. It had a well stocked kitchen. The location next to the mountain park was great and we took several long hikes. It was also very convenient to the 51 freeway so getting around town was quick and easy. We did not take advantage of the pool area but it looked very nice.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.
