You will enjoy our 6000 square foot resort-style home on a half-acre lot. We have 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Our home is on a quiet street of multi-million dollar mansions. It has a very large driveway and a large family friendly backyard with many amazing amenities - POOL WITH WATERSLIDE, large Jacuzzi, water fall, water feature with 2 fish that shoot water out of their mouths and into the pool (lots of fun for kids), baja lounge (area where the pool is 1 ft deep), outdoor fireplace, outdoor gazebo with seating, outdoor full bathroom with 2 changing rooms, built in barbeque with sink, and an outdoor dining table. We have a large kitchen with double ovens, double fridges, and a warming drawer, plus an attached breakfast area with a table (seats 6) and a tv. Highchair available upon request. Separate attached dining room with dining table (seats 8). Spacious family room with large TV, fireplace, and wet bar. Family friendly game room with pool table, foosball, air-hockey, and ping-pong, plus lots of board games. Cable TV. Wi-Fi.
OUR HOME WILL SLEEP UP TO 18 PEOPLE COMFORTABLY. There are 3 master suites. The main master suite has a king sized bed (sleeps 2), and a sofa bed (sleeps 2), gas fireplace, and very large attached his and hers bathroom. The second master suite has a queen bed (sleeps 2) with an attached bathroom that is handicapped friendly with separate shower and tub. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed (sleeps 2). Bedroom 4 has a full bed (sleeps 2). Bedroom 3 and 4 are in a separate wing and share a bathroom with double sinks and shower/tub. Bedroom 5 (the 3rd master suite) is on the other side of the house and features an attached full bathroom, a queen bed (sleeps 2), and gym equipment (treadmill and elliptical). There is another room near bedroom 5 with a sofa bed (sleeps 2). The game room has a sofa bed (sleeps 2). There is another room near the game room with a sofa bed (sleeps 2).
Our home is one story and is handicapped accessible. It has a large and open floor plan that is spread out which makes it perfect for multiple families and older couples. Please note, the house is in a residential area. Out of respect for our neighbors we do not allow large parties, wild parties, weddings, and/or receptions, and you must be at least 25 yrs old to rent the house. No pets allowed.
Close to everything San Diego and La Jolla have to offer - especially the beach! Windnsea (Wind n Sea) beach is only a 2 mile walk. World famous La Jolla Shores, La Jolla Cove, Torrey Pines beach, and Del Mar beaches are also closeby. Close to SeaWorld, Old Town, downtown San Diego, Cabrillo National Monument, Torrey Pines national park, Torrey Pines golf course, Legoland, Del Mar, Del Mar racetrack, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Coronado, Carlsbad, San Diego Zoo, Seaport Village, UCSD, Fashion Valley mall, and Balboa Park. Only 10 min to the San Diego airport.

Why are you only posting positive reviews? I know my sister wrote a very honest review that is not posted.. This house is not worth the $$$ he charges. We loved staying in La Jolla and this property was perfect for us and our family of 18 to spending our vacation. Kids loved the pool, the jacuzzi and game room. Had plenty of room to sleep and not get in each others way. Adults loved the fireplace at night, and great location, convenient to everything, and super quiet. Our family rented this house for a family vacation. There were 14 people in our group, ages 5-68. This house was perfect for us. There was more than enough space and plenty of beds and bathrooms. The kitchen was large enough to easily prepare meals for our large group. We spent most of our time in the pool, hot tub, and outdoor living room. The location was ideal to easily get to any of San Diego's attractions. The game room was an added bonus. Working with the owner was very easy and he was very helpful. The photos do not do this property justice. I would highly recommend this house.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

Our family of four adult couples and two children, (current ages 9 and 7), have gathered at rental homes in various nice places for five years. We have rated two as 5-star choices and this is one of those two. The website description is accurate, but of course can’t describe the full experience offered by the spacious property. We think it should offer others the same total satisfaction we experienced. We all particularly enjoyed the patio area, pool, spa and game room. The home could handle a larger group, but was ideal for ours. The home owner is highly professional and likable. Without qualification, we recommend the property and all interaction with the owner.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities.

For the last 6 years, my whole family (parents, siblings and their kids) have been getting together for a vacation over the holidays. We have rented many different homes and have liked this best. The location is great (close to all major attractions for kids and teens), close to downtown San Diego and downtown La Jolla, the beach, etc. As well, the house is spacious, good sized rooms with plenty of places to sleep comfortably. The central family room is large enough for our big family to watch TV, movies or play games together. With an extended family whose kids range in age from 2 yrs old to 20 yrs old, the house provided entertainment for everyone…pool was great, game room was fun, tons of other games and books provided. The owner was very easy to work with and very attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this property when staying in San Diego area.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had a great family retreat (5 families) in August. Weather arrived perfectly for us. House is landscaped in a tropical setting in the quiet La Jolla hills with the beach a few miles away. Kids enjoyed the pool and heated jacuzzi, plus the many game tables. Grandma with walker had no troubles navigating the single story house. Owner was the best, and available 24/7. He always accommadated our needs. Would like to keep this place a secret. Hope to be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

We had a great time at this house. The game room was fun, and the pool slide unbeatable! The house owner was very professional to deal with, and readily addressed any concerns we had. Wow!! This house has 4 game tables, a great sound system and an awesome pool with slide. The best part was while the adults were enjoying the ammenities the babies were able to sleep in a quiet room. Great layout in this home The kitchen had everything we needed. We were there for 3 days and never left because we were having so much fun. The owner was great to work with and very friendly. We felt right at home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.
