Newly Remodeled 1 Bedroom Charming Apartment in a Historic Victorian Building.
Perfect Location, only 2 blocks to Fillmore, home of the Fillmore Jazz Festival and lots of great shopping and Restaurants. Japan Town is just down the hill a ways, home of the famous Yoshi's Nightclub. The Marina is down the hill toward the Bay and has so much to offer! Union street and Chestnut Street has fantastic shops and restaurants.
There is no need to rent a car, SF has a great public transportation system and the stop is just a couple of blocks away. If your not a Bus/Muni/Bart kind of person there is always the Cabs! They are easy find and many things are an affordable Cab Ride away like: Union Square, Golden Gate Park, The Zoo, The Exploratorium, Pac Bell Park, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, The Ferry Building, China Town, North Beach, The DeYoung Museum, The Legion of Honor Museum....I could go on and on.
The Street is VERY quiet, it dead ends 2 blocks up and 4 blocks down so there is not much traffic at all. This Unit is located in back of the House so it faces Gardens, NOT the street. When you are in the Apt. it is so peaceful you would never know you are in the heart of bustling SF. All you see from the overly large windows are tranquil garden views and tree tops.
A short 2 Blocks up is Large, Beautiful Park with paved walking paths and views of the Bay along with Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. There's public Tennis courts and basketball courts. It is a perfect Park for enjoying a Morning Cup of Coffee or a Picnic on the bench while overlooking SF Bay, or bring a blanket and spread out on the lawn.
You will love this place as much as we do!

My sisters and I spent a week in this beauriful apartment in August. While small, we had plenty of room, a huge improvement over a small hotel room. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The queen size bed in the bedroom was comfortable as was the sleeper sofa in the living area. The apartment decor was very nice. Washer and drier were convienent on the ground floor.WIFI a definate plus. I would recommend this apartment to friends and will consider it for future trips to the city. Public transportation is just 1/2block away, Filmore Street restaurants are close as is the Molly Stones Supermarket. The street was very quiet and safe. We never heard the neighbors within the apartment building. This was my first time to rent with VROB and it was a total success!! Thank-youRecommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

I rented this apartment for my friend and husband visiting with their 12 year old daughter. When is San Francisco, they've always stay in the Union Square area, this time they wanted to experience the feel of living in San Francisco. This apartment couldn't be better. The architecture is beautiful and is well decorated, is quaint but with high ceilings, giving it a very open feel. As per ameneties, this apartment has all you would need. If you want to stay in and make your own meals or you're just a quick 200 yards from Fillmore Street that offers a broad range of restaurants, plus entertainment.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

First trip to the city in many years. What a pleasant surprise when we arrived to this beautiful apartment. The trip was for business but ended up being a romantic weekend with my husband. You can't help but have that in this cozy, relaxing apartment. We parked the car and cabbed it everywhere which was so much easier than having to find out how to get from here to there. No Worries!!! Enjoyed Capps Corner Restaurant, Beach Blanket Babylon, The Wharf and business part back and forth to Moscone Center. I will definitely stay many more times.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This is an ideal location to explore and enjoy everything the city has to offer. Its proximity to the Filmore district and public transportation made it an excellent location for first time and repeat visitors to San Francisco. The apartment which has been recently remodled was comfortable, clean well appointed and posessed everything needed for home away from home. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and friendly. After a day exploring the fascinations of the city you have the choice of dining in the Fillmore district in a variety of restaurants or preparing your own meal from the apartments kitchen and dining at the table overlooking the garden. We have recommended this location to many of our friends. The apartment exceeded our expactations. One week in San Francisco is only a tease. Upon our return we would love to be able to rent this ideal apartment. It has everthing you could ask for in a travellers home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

When my wife and I visit San Francisco, we enjoy staying at this apartment because of its accommodations and its location. It is perfect for us. The apartment is in an attractive Victorian House on the second floor. There is a combination lounge and dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom is comfortable and there is ample closet space. Both the lounge and bedroom have television sets. There also is a small deck overlooking well-maintained backyard gardens of surrounding dwellings. The property is very quiet as is the area. We like the location because of a very active Fillmore Street and easy access to the places we frequent. Reliable bus transportation is a few minutes walk away and can deliver us to AT&T ball park, Fisherman’s Wharf, the Ferry Building, Union Square, the Financial District and other haunts of ours. In the evening, we’ll usually take a taxi. The cab service is the best we’ve ever encountered in a city – no longer than five minutes after calling. From the location, every place we want to go seems to be about 10-15 minutes away. The bonus is the locality. There is a Molly Stones supermarket within a short walk and it also has an excellent coffee stop. Next to it is a breakfast spot that far surpasses traditional ‘greasy spoons.’ Or, if French crepes are your taste, there is a bistro around the corner. The Fillmore offers trendy boutiques and other specialty shops. The street is known for its fine dining and a large pub is very popular. And the natives are friendly. The price is right! The best value we can find for our money. Although we are usually on the go, the location suits our needs when we just want to hang out for a while.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This place is so comfortable I felt like I was at home! The Apartment is close to a lot of great restaurants and the neighborhood is a lot of fun. I even passed Gavin Newsom on the sidewalk one day! The place is cute, spotless, quiet, and everything is brand new. The price is right and next time I am in SF I will stay at this apartment again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This apartment is in a wonderful location and beautifull furnished. It has a great view and is very comfortable. I enjoy staying here more than I do at home. It doesn't take long to get to the many attractions San Fransico has to offer but it is far enough away that the hustle and bustle is not keeping you awake all night. Great place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Clean, cute apartment, one block walk to great restaurants and pubs in the evening and coffee shops in the morning. Once you park the car catch a cab to any location in San Francisco for just a few bucks. While relaxing inside the apartment or the small deck out back, it’s amazing how quite it is. If you want to stay in SF and feel like a resident this is the place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Why the Owner Chose Pacific Heights:
We LOVE San Francisco! We picked this Apartment for it's location. I think they are right when they say "Location is Everything". The quiet street and peaceful feeling when you are in the Apartment was a real appealing to us, we love the city but not so much the noise when you are trying to relax or sleep. The neighbor hood was another plus. we are 2 blocks from Fillmore and that street pretty much has all you need to entertainment, shopping and dining. Pacific Heights is very centrally located so it takes no time at all to get anywhere is the city. It is also a SAFE neighborhood. I am sure you will love it too!
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
We come home so energized AND relaxed after spending time in this Historic SF Jewel of a Victorian. The City is so alive and there is always so much to do and see no matter what your budget is. Great Food, Great Shopping, Great Theater, Great Boating, Great Ballet, Great Sports, Great Hiking, Great....I could go on and on! Whatever you are into, you can find it in San Francisco.
