  Had a fabulous adult weekend (11 of us). Great bike riding in the area, wineries and cute little towns (Los Olivos, Santa Ynez). Cooked dinner both nights, had our morning coffee on the porch.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

  Just got back from the absolute perfect weekend staying at this home. Went up for a surprise party with 13 people and a baby. Everyone had a bed and was very comfortable. It really is as beautiful as the photos show. The Lockharts were extremely attentive and helpful and super pleasant to deal with. Plenty to do at the home (basketball, volleyball, jacuzzi/pool, pretty much whatever the heck you want to do) and very close to the downtown and local wineries where we were able to ride our bikes to - Bridalwood. Truly was one of the best vacations I've had in awhile and everyone who came is still raving about the house and the location. If you're heading to Santa Ynez with a few people, I HIGHLY recommend this home. We will definitely be back in the near future. It will be a very memorable time if you stay here. Wish I was still there. Thanks Lockhart Family!

  Ten friends and I decided to spend a weekend in Santa Ynez to do some wine tasting and basically just catch up. This house was perfect as we were just a few miles from tasting rooms and about 15-20 minutes from some great vineyards. We used the spa, played volleyball, did some grilling and really had an amazing time. We wish we were able to stay longer. Dan and Annette (owners) were very nice and answered all our questions. I will definitely be looking forward to making a trip back.

  We rented this house after our wedding, to spend some quality time with friends who'd come from far away. It was absolutely perfect. We sat on the porch chatting and drinking coffee in the morning, then changed into bathing suits and spent the day playing, swimming, throwing footballs, kicking soccer balls, petting the goats and horses, playing basketball and ping-pong... it was like being kids again! And then we grilled and cooked and ate both outside one night and inside in the gorgeous dining room the next night. Movies, charades, and more laughing than any of us had done in a while. There were 10 of us, and sleeping arrangements were no problem. The pool house room is adorable! Thanks so much for an unforgettable and glorious time, Dan and Annette!

  We had the challenge of finding a great spot for 5 different couples from around the country to meet up for a long weekend of wine tasting and relaxation for my wife's birthday. We settled on this house, and so glad we did! The master bedroom & bath was amazing, and everyone else was comfortable and happy in their rooms as well. After mid-day wine tasting around Santa Ynez and Los Olivos each day, we spent most of our time outside barbecuing, swimming, playing volleyball, frisbee, and ping pong. The kitchen was very well stocked with nice supplies and dishes for a large group, which really made it feel like home. The owners were fantastic, available via cell with any questions we had. We can't find a reason to come back for another fun and relaxing vacation.

  I rented this beautiful home with 14 of my closest girlfriends for a weekend away and was very pleased. The home itself is very cozy and comfortable. The decor is shabby chic which makes the feel fun and inviting. There was plenty of sleeping, eating and relaxing space for all of us and then some. Even better than the house is the property surrounding it. We fed the ponies and goats in the morning, sat by the large pool during the day and watched the sunset on the patio while drinking wine at night. It is minutes away from multiple wineries if you are looking for an afternoon of wine tasting. The owners were wonderful the entire stay. They were on hand to answer any questions or solve any issues the whole weekend. I would most defiantly recommend this home and hope to return again soon.

  Our entire family (15 of us) vacationed at this lovely ranch home for a family reunion and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The home and property is beautiful and very clean, and it is stocked with everything you would ever need. There was so much to do for both the adults and the kids (of all ages). It was better than any resort could ever be because we were all together under one roof. Santa Ynez is a beautiful and charming place that offers a wide variety of activities. But we didn't venture off the ranch much at all because there was enough to keep us occupied the entire time! We look forward to visiting again soon!

  We spent the weekend here for some wine tasting and fun before my sister's wedding. The house comfortably fit 13 people, and even had some room to spare! The pool/hot tub area was perfect for star-gazing at night, and the animals were great fun to feed and play with. Great location and wonderful home. Will definitely go again!

  Not only is this property beautiful, the owners were extremely attentive and helpful before, during, and even after our stay. The house is charmingly decorated and the fully fenced acre plus of lawn right around the house is simply majestic. Add in some wonderful views, a pool and jacuzzi, barn with horse and goats and this is the perfect retreat for a couple or an entire family.

  We couldn't think of a better place to celebrate mom's 70th birthday and 10th anniversary! So much fun, we did everything - Dinners, swimming, ping pong, volleyball, had a hard time fitting it all in. We'll be back! Fantastic! Thanks for opening your home to us...What a fantastic spot.
