The new iPod stations & wifi worked great, thanks so much. We were also very favorably impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was - we had everything we needed to do a little cooking (though we sure enjoyed all the restaurants we went to while we were there! Postcards Cafe was our favorite.) Thanks again, and if we go back anytime, I'll be in touch to see if your place is available! Mahalo, Mary Pridgen

We had a fantastic time; Bldg 13-Unit 13...what a nice coincidence; I celebrated my 57th birthday on September 13; 13 is a good number; my sister celebrated her 56th birthday on September 16. We loved Kee Beach, the beautiful sunsets, and the amazing star-filled night skies; it was a memorable birthday for us! Mahalo again. Lena Low

When she walked into the condo she expressed how nice it was and she loved our entire week there. We could cook, visit all the great beaches nearby, walk down to the beach near the condos which is very private and snorkel and sunbathe. All was good. The condo was clean and spacious and great for everything we needed. THANKS! We will be back.

Hi Kela, I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had in Kauai and thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo. Especially I wanted to thank you for allowing us to do the late check out on our departure day as it made a long evening of travel with the kids much more bearable. Thanks so much, we hope to return again soon. Regards, Susie and Mike Douglas

Hi Kela We arrived back in Haines this morning after 3 glorious weeks in Kauai......Loved your condo !!.....We will definitely stay there again in the future, for a longer time, though......Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your new furnishings and art work (you should update your website pictures, if you haven't already)....We stayed in three different rentals during our vacation and yours was absolutely the most luxurious.....loved the quiet location and the fact that everything was spotlessly clean......Thanks for providing a wonderful place to come home to at the end of each day!!...........Lyn

From: Charlton,SueEllen To: kfisher Cc: jwboyd Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2008 4:51 PM Subject: Pali Ke Kua Thanks Dear Kela and Mike, This is a belated e-mail---we returned from Hawai'i last week to a box of mail/bills and lots of work. Just now catching our breath. We had a great time at "Barb's condo" (which we now just refer to as the "Fisher condo"). We had invited Fort Collins friends who arrived from visiting their friends on the Big Island; they were loaded with avocados from local trees, so that was the beginning of a wonderful week of trying to eat "local." We gorged on ahi, bananas and papaya, walked the beaches, did a little swimming (it was breezy and cool) and our friends were delighted with the condo's library. At first, we feared that the library had disappeared, but then discovered it in the upstairs bedroom. Our friends, like us, are big local history/culture fans and each of them read a couple of books on Kauai. Toured Grove Farm (4th time) and the Waioli Mission House (1st time). We found the old condo diary and noted that our entry from March 2007 was the last one. Included an update in the new diary. Jim and I think you did a very nice job of redecorating. Barbara had said that you had urged her to replace the carpet and we like your choice very much. Also the paint job, fixtures, etc., show a nice touch. All in all, a lovely week, and we're looking forward to our next visit. Sue Ellen Charlton and Jim Boyd

From: D Farr To: Kela Fisher Sent: Wednesday, January 16, 2008 2:09 PM Subject: Re: Pali Ke Kua Condominium Kela....Once again we had a great stay at Pali Ke Kua #13! The new paint and carpeting look great and everything was perfect. Thanks for the opportunity to share a bit of paradise. We hope to return again next year (possibly February '09) and will be sure to contact you concerning another stay......Oh yes the whales were awesome! Watching whales ended up being a big part of each day. We're concerned that we may really miss them if we come again outside of whale season. On Maui we ended up doing two whales watches out of Lahaina which were great! Feel free to use us as a reference. I know many people are skeptical of using VRBO so being able to contact a previous renter gives some peace of mind. I'd be happy to answer any questions anyone has. Thanks again! Dale and Cindy Farr
