  Problems from the night we checked in: On Saturday night, when Pauline (the property manager) checked us in, she mentioned that their might be noise problems. The noise problems came from the owners of the unit above: The condo units have tile floors, so between 6:30 - 7:00am every morning, you awoke to running footsteps, dropping of (marbles, coins) something being dropped, which echoed off the tile floors, and constant moving and scooting of chairs/tables. Pauline, the property manger on site, was made aware of the daily problems, and Delia, the housekeeping manager, and I were outside the front door area one morning when the owner of the above unit poured hot water over the inside balcony area where we were standing. Everyday, Delia, asked about the noise problems, many of those she could hear for herself. When we checked out on December 3, Pauline, was not on property. I emailed her when we returned home due to all the problems that continued throughout our 10 day stay. The response that I received: I would have to contact the property owner. I made the reservation though Pauline, and I have no contact information for the owners. I contacted VRBO, and they gave me the owners phone number, I have called them 4 times and left messages, with no return phone call back. I have also emailed Pauline 7 times to get information on what can be done. No response back. I sent VRBO a letter in January stating all the problems and lack of communication with both the property owner and property manager. The condo is beautiful and spacious, just like the listing describes. It is clean and has new furnishings, exactly like the photos show. As I mentioned above, the condo does have tile flooring throughout, which didn't help with the noise problems. I have focused on our stay for the benefit of future travelers.

  Owner response: We are sorry the traveler had an unpleasant experience in the condo. However, my family spends 2-3 months of the year at the beach in the condo and although we do experience noise from the unit above us at times, as to be expected living on a second floor unit in a three story building, it is not unbearable as the complaint would have you believe. That being said, after the traveler complained to the property manager, the manager spoke to the family in the unit above and after another complaint from the traveler, they were given the option to move to another unit. Although they may have originally selected our unit based on furnishings, all of the units are very nicely appointed and the rental amount is based on location within the property, not the style of the furnishings. If the problem was so terrible, they should have moved to another unit as offered to them. If the noise was actually ruining their vacation, I think moving to a unit with different furnishings would be worth not dealing with the referenced noise. Unfortunately there is not anything else that can be done at this time as they were already given a discounted rate upon booking the condo. On a separate note having nothing to do with this complaint, the family in the unit above has moved away. Obviously we cannot control who stays in or lives in the unit above, but we did want to make note that the family in question has moved away. Again, I do hate that they encountered problems while on their vacation, but solutions were offered that they did not take. Lastly, Crescent Point is run very professionally and as evidenced from the traveler reviews posted on our VRBO site, the visitors we welcome to our condo always have a very pleasant experience and this complaint appears to be the only exception.

  My family stayed in this condo for nine nights in June, 2012. This was our first time at this condo, but our 6th trip to the island. We had 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a baby. The condo was very well appointed and beach front to Seven Mile Beach. We spent many nights on the screened-in deck listening to the sounds of the ocean. The grounds of the property were immaculate. The pool was close to our condo and very inviting. The condo is centrally located on Seven Mile Beach and close to shopping and great restaurants. This is a great condo and we highly recommend anyone to stay there. We did lots of scuba diving while on the island. We primarily dove with Dive Tech. We found their staff very friendly and professional. Their boats were top notch.

  We had a wonderful time on Grand Cayman and at Cresent Point!! The condo had a gorgeous view of the water with a screened in deck where we spent a lot of time. The pool was nice as was the beach - although there was quite a stretch of rocky ground to cover in order to go to the ocean. The condo was perfect!! I highly recommend this rental. It was walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops. And the island is just gorgeous.

  My wife, 2 teenaged kids and I spent 5 nights/6 days at Grand Cayman for Spring Break. The condo is abosolutely wonderful. It's in pristine condition with furnishings at a higher level than is typical of vacation rentals. The condo staff is also extremely helpful and accommodating. The pool area is very nice, with beautiful landscaping. One of the real advantages of this condo is that it is quiet. Even the pool area never had more than half a dozen other people there during the week we were visiting. The condo location is perfect----about a mile or so to Georgetown and a major grocery store, and less to several restaurants, bars, convenience stores, dive shops, and other shopping. If you like to walk, it's terrific. Otherwise, use the busses (actually minivans), taxis, or rent a car across the street. We rented a car one day to explore the island, which was a lot of fun. Overall, this high-end condo is great, and a perfect base from which to enjoy all that Grand Cayman has to offer.

  I enjoyed a wonderful vacation here with my husband and two children (23 year old daughter, 16 year old son) and we ALL had a fantastic time! We went snorkeling every day, the best on the island just a swim away! My husband and son enjoyed daily work-outs in the Fitness Center, and my daughter and I enjoyed our quite time on the Hammocks listening to the ocean waves. We also enjoyed sipping drinks under the Palm Trees located directly in front of the condo. The area is extremely private but if we wanted to be around people we walked to the Marriott beach or Royal Palms. We loved George Town and ate dinner there several times. The view, service and food at Guy Harvey's were excellent! FYI, the island has a terrific bus service so we didn't need to rent a car. The one "planned" event was the day we spent with Captain Marvin's Crew at Stingray City. I had to beg and plead with my family to go...they ended up kissing the Stingray's for 7 years good luck-the crew was so much fun! I have to mention how wonderful Pauline is-we had major issues with our luggage and she went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out-thank you Pauline!!! Becky your condo is stunning with everything we needed! We felt like we were staying at the Presidential Suite at the best hotel on the island...without the huge expense. We also appreciate your flexibility during our son's baseball season. Staying at your condo on the island, should be a bucket list item for everyone!

  Doing a review of a place that is perfect is a self fulfilling prophecy of making sure it is not easy to book - but this is truly one of those places that was perfect for us. We are avid divers - not hardcore - but love diving. This condo is perfect for us...it looks out over a very private beach (2nd floor) - read that as no noise. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our 3 couples - the management (Pauline who was GREAT) made the bedroom with twin beds into a king size for us. You are literally minutes away from grocery shopping, great restaurants and and some lively clubs. The Diving is excellent - we chose to dive with "Living the Dream Divers" - Outstanding group (Gary and Liz who are the owners go out of their way to be helpful) - no cattle boat here - 8 divers maximum on a boat that could easily handle 20. They also do private charters. ! I think by far our favorite restaurant was Calypso Grill – it was awesome! Have the Wahoo! You will find the condo well stocked with everything you need - we like doing breakfast and lunch in the condo and dinner out - although there is a BBQ at the Pool that is available for a pool side dinner if you want. We took advantage of the large hot tub by the pool just about every evening to watch the sunset and enjoy a frozen libation or two. Thanks Becky and John for sharing your place with us - WE WILL BE BACK!!

  This property is well maintained and all description (including photos) was accurate. Owners provided a wealth of helpful information and maintenance staff members were a delight to work with. We intend to return ASAP! We made use of the restaurant recommendations provided and were delighted to find offerings for our varied tastes. Our group included a vegetarian and a "NO FISH" person but each of us found menus to suit! The beach was gorgeous and sufficiently private. The view was perfect and we very much enjoyed the screened in porch for early morning coffee and evening cocktail hour. This was a perfect vacation spot for us.

  I've stayed here with wife and other couples, as well as golfing buddies and owners. The condo and nearby spots are fantastic, with most being within walking distance, including the best night spot on the island, The Royal Palms, and a great cigar bar, where they roll them as you watch. Best location on Seven Mile stretch of beach, with gorgeous sunsets. The screen porch in the photos is not a bad place to sleep, particularly after a few cocktails. In short, you can't go wrong here. Oh, yeah, if you like 79 and breezy, you're gonna love it.

  I spent a week here with my girlfriends and we had such a fabulous time that I can't wait to go back. There are 3 spacious bedrooms but honestly I could have slept on the screened in balcony and listened to the ocean as I fell asleep. The beach here is beautiful and I enjoyed my daily walks. Location is perfect with so many fine restaurants and shops nearby. This condo is decorated beautifully with all the amenities that you could ask for. If you are looking for a great vacation spot, this is it.

  Wow - what an wonderful place! As soon as you walk in the door - your eyes are immediately drawn to the ocean - as the back wall is nothing but windows and a screened in porch that overlooks the white sand beach and beautiful blue ocean. Once you are able to focus in on the rest of your surroundings, you notice the impeccable decoration and attention to detail that fills the condo. Take the elevator down to the wonderful pool right on the ocean that allows you have the convenience of fresh water with the sounds, smells and views of the ocean. Or - go snorkeling right in front of your condo - some of the best around! You can walk down the beach for a wonderful lunch, dinner or night on the town! Truly a remarkable place - I definitely hope to be back soon!
