  Little malibu house redeems the promises that in advance is given. The house is clean, well equipped and situated in a great location. Close to the beach and activities but still in it's own peaceful environment. Accompanying our visit had nine lives and we liked in particular the fact that the common areas were large and comfortable. The house owner was very courteous and flexible, and offered good information prior to the accommodation of the house and the neighborhood. I can, therefore, with a good mind to recommend this house to all types of vacations with family or friends!

  I've stayed all over the 413 and this is the nicest house by far. Spacious, modern and well planned out its the perfect place to chill post-surf, to BBQ, and to stay. Get some mates together and its pretty good value too. The view is a uniquely private valley, and you have no neighbours. The owners are very easy to deal with too. Stay there, don't bother checking anywhere else!

  My wife and I just returned from "Little Malibu House". I can not say enough about how great the property is. The house is beautiful. The arrangement of rooms, and common areas are carefully thought out. They make for a great, private, and peaceful stay. The properties gardens are meticulously maintained. The distance from surrounding properties allow for a great deal of privacy. Yet access to the main road (Rt 413) is just at the top of your long, picturesque, tree lined driveway. The pool is a great secluded addition to the space. It only takes a few minutes to get to downtown Rincon. Shopping, and restaurants are within minutes of the house. Access to a wide variety of beaches is a short trip away. All of the logistics of securing the property were well orchestrated. A high degree of personalized contacts from the property owner. A well designed, and presented overview of the house was provided via PDF prior to arrival. With a hard copy binder on-site when we arrived. We were met without incident by our property manager who helped us find the correct driveway. This was early on a Sunday morning, and he picked up his phone instantly. Was apprised of who I was, and knew all the details of our arrival. Met us at a easy landmark near the house, and then guided us to the house. The houses driveway is hiding in plain sight. So, it would be difficult to find without assistance. But assistance was ready and waiting. We were given a walkthrough of the property. Asked if we had any questions, or requests. We were given the property manager's phone number should any questions arise. Then we were left to ourselves the entire stay. No nosing in, just solid service. Couldn't be happier. As an aside, we used Charlies car rental which was one of the few rental places that had convertible 4x4 Jeeps. Some of the beaches have car access that a 4x4 vehicle would be helpful, but certainly not required. The Jeeps are in high demand so reserve early, and call to confirm a few days before. In summation, Little Malibu House was a perfect place to stay, at a perfect vacation spot. Would highly recommend to others.

  We had a very relaxing stay in Rincon and this house and its location had as much to do with that as Rincon itself. The location up in the hills high over the north shore was fantastic and it was pleasant to just sit and watch the afternoon rain roll through. After coming in during a hot summer in the Northeast to PR, I was a bit doubtful about going without the A/C , but we did as the vent systems in the house allowed the cross winds to really circulate and cool off in the evenings and morning. The design is great as I felt almost as if we were sleeping outside with coquis. It is a quick downhill to the beaches and their unique attributes. The water was great and all was nice and laid back. We also did a quick side trip to the old colonial town San Germain. Would recommend to all.

  great location at a reasonable price, the house is beautifully designed, with every amenity imaginable, and the view is spectacular, really convenient to the beaches yet set back in its own little preserve with tons of privacy etc... can't recommend it enough, had a great stay and am already thinking about the return trip!

  Five of us traveled from Connecticut and New York to enjoy a week in the sunny Puerto Rico. The house was well equipped and the beds were very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was sand chairs and they were promptly delivered for our short ride to the beach. Little Malibu was private and the surroundings very lush. At night the tree frogs sang their melodies, in the morning the neighborhood roosters could be heard. Horses could also be seen on the hillside. A beautiful natural place to stay. We will return.

  I'm a designer by profession and felt privileged to spend a week at little Malibu with my friends. The house is an architectural gem with a wonderful open layout and modern feel. It has three levels and we mostly hung out, cooked and ate on the top floor. This made it easy to escape to the solitude of the bedrooms on the floors below. The pool is gorgeous and the decks on the 2nd and 3rd floor offer views of the Caribbean ocean below. We barbequed one night and realized the top deck has one of the best views of the stars one could ask for. The outdoor shower, near the pool, was a perfect way to rinse off after a surf session. Not only would I return to this house but I’m thinking of hiring the same architect to design a house for my family. I’m now spoiled for all surf trips to come. Thank you PR for the punchy waves and thank you Little Malibu for the fantasy home away from home.

  We had an amazing time during our stay at the Little Malibu House for our family Winter vacation. The location was perfect in the "Puntas" neighborhood of Rincon; close enough to all the restaurants and beaches, but just outside the hustle and bustle. The owners made sure we were comfortable during our stay and the local property manager provided security and comfort. Thanks so much for ensuring we had a wonderful vacation!!

  I have just returned to Boston from a week at Little Malibu and I can't say enough wonderful things about this house and the amazing experience during my stay. While the pictures are fantastic and my expectations were already high, I was blown away in person! The ocean view from the top deck is out of this world. First day I was there an afternoon rain storm quickly passed through leaving an enormous double rainbow arching across the sky.. colors I have never seen so bright. Not a bad way to start a vacation :) The top floor has an enormous open kitchen stretching out to the deck, providing the perfect space for open air dining (and the temp at night there is a lovely 75 degrees). The house is full of big comfortable couches for naps and reading, salt water pool is amazing, great location to quickly get to the beaches and restaurants... I could go on and on. Harrison, Tyler and Ben, this house is truly a slice of heaven. Thank you for making my first trip to Rincon so incredible!

  I travel regularly to Rincon and have stayed in many places so I know value and can easily compare properties. While "Little Malibu House" is secluded and very pretty to look at, I cannot recommend this pricey listing. The bedrooms are all located outside of the main living area with doors opening to balconies or the yard offering no sense of security and requiring guests to run up and down 30+ stairs to secure the home prior to each outing (only one key is made available to guests). Three of the nine sleeping arrangements are "bunk beds" which are located within (I kid you not) a closet! The advertised large screen TV was useless as the Cable and the VCR player didn't work. It's a long night from sundown to sunup without them and the owners could offer no help. A large rat was eating food from the pantry and depositing evidence of his visits throughout much of our stay. Most people over the age of 55 will find the 40 stairs between the kitchen on the top floor and the swimming pool area exhausting and everyone, I'm sure, will agree they're inconvenient. I could go on but suffice it to say I will not be returning to "Little Malibu House", even at half the price.

  Owner response: We're very sorry to hear that this renter did not enjoy his stay at our home. Our property manager who lives nearby responded to his requests shortly after we received them, and was at the house the following morning to help with their complaints. We have since created a TV manual with explicit directions on how to operate a remote control and digital cable box in the event future guests have a similar problem. We also provide more than one set of keys depending on the party size and upon request. This client booked the most expensive week of the year for a party of 3 which was probably not the right fit given the time period and small party. The property is also located in a private development so there is little to no traffic and privacy is at a premium. Security has never been an issue, as is the case in some other parts of Rincon, however we do have a surveillance system to keep guests at ease. As you can see from the pictures, the house has two set of stairs and we have never had a complaint about the stairs before. There are 3 bedrooms, which comfortably sleep 6, and a final "bunkroom" which has 3 bunk beds that have sliding wood doors to add privacy if desired.
