  This unit was great! It fit our family of 4 just perfectly. The pictures do not reflect it, but it has been updated with new carpets, some new furniture pieces and decor. As previous reviews have mentioned, it is very close to the beach walkways, building entrance and laundry facilities. We found all the little perks (beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, cooler and umbrella) such a great personal touch. We loved it, and would definitely rent here again!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  We had a wonderful time and really felt that this property was well maintained. The owners were amazing and we will be renting from them again. We relaxed and enjoyed the time we had in the one bedroom condo. IT is centrally located and near everything. It was a great visit.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

  Have been coming to HHI for 25 years. Have shopped around a lot but have only stayed off-site twice. The property is perfect for location and economy. Owners pleasant and easy to work with. We have stayed in units in every building in the resort and always return to this unit as our favorite. It is light and airy with morning sun on the balcony and small view of pool and ocean; full view of lagoon and fountain. Just steps from beach entrance and pool. Very comfortable furnishings, neat and clean with larger than average bedroom and closet. It has all the kitchen items and other amenities you may need, including ice chest, umbrella, chairs and toys for the beach. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher and ceiling fans definite plus. On first floor near entrance and 1 door away from laundry room. Owners also have a great, quiet and relaxing 2 BR unit in Tennis Villas across parking lot if you should need more space.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  We had a great weekend. The condo is so close to the beach with a small view of the ocean. It was great to be on the first floor. Very comfortable and remodeled so that the sleeping area is larger than most other units. Owners as nice as can be. Definately hope to return!

  My husband and I decided to go to Hilton Head for a last-minute trip and the owners were so accommodating to meet us on our way from Atlanta to pass off the keys and instructions. The resort was great with lots of amenities - beautiful pool with lots and lots of lounge chairs, bike rentals, etc. The condo location was very close to the walkway to the beach and the provided beach lounge chairs were greatly appreciated! Will definitely consider staying here in the future, especially for the price. That was the "deal-maker" for us and we were highly impressed.

  Awesome location! Just a few steps from the beach, 1st floor! We had a great time with our 1 yr old. The condo also has all kinds of beach accessories: beach chairs, boards, sand toys, etc. Resort has everything you need for a great vacation: pool, playground, fishing pond, bike rental, etc...

  My husband and I took our 18-month-old to the beach for the first time and we enjoyed our stay at this condo so much! It was the perfect size for us, but it also has enough room for a couple more kids, if necessary. They thought of everything and it made it truly easy to stay there and very hard to leave! Great rate for a condo so close to the beach, also!

  What a way for a Grandmother to spend Spring Break with 8 y/o grandson! Excellent accomodations (redesigned to be very spacious for 1 BR), location, and view. Very well appointed unit with all the basic amenities & also vast array of items for entertainment--even beach chairs, toys & boogie board. Owners represent their unit honestly, are conversational, informative, & very easy to work with. They have made every attempt to meet your needs & assure an enjoyable stay. This must be the best kept secret on the island! Will be back soon!

  This Unit was the best we ever rented (in this or other beach resorts in GA, SC and FL). The location of the Unti is the best one can imagine: it is on the 1st floor, and right near the building entrance (2nd close to the beach one) - so you never need to haul your heavy stuff long or high, either inside the building to/from your unit, or outside to/from the beach or pool. The balcony is facing the pond and beach dunes. The Unit is super-stuffed: alongside with "standard" equipment (2 TVs, DVD, stereo, etc.), you get all kinds of kitchen tools (electric can opener, mixer, etc.), beach gear (beach chairs, toys), books, games, and even small nice things like a sewing kit. We also found full stock of disposable necessities (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, even light bulbs) that is enough for weeks - while other units usually have only 1-day supply of the mentioned goods. Negative sides are minor: no bunk beds in this Unit, no high-speed internet in this Unit (though dial-up works OK), poor cellular coverage at the entire resort (no coverage inside the rooms, except for the balcony). However, in each unit there is a phone with free local calls. Bottom line: perfect vacation, we will be back next year! PS: while the discussion on which beach is better (Gulf Coast like Panama City, FL vs GA+SC Atlantic Coast like Hilton Head) is still open for me - there is no doubt that Hilton Head Island is much better and SAFER then Tybee Island, GA). And within Hilton Head, we found this resourt as best value for your money (just compare amenities).

  The villa was great and very clean. I have been visiting HHI for years and this is the nicest place that I have stayed. The villa is well stocked and enjoyable.
