Come visit our beautifully decorated, serene, three-bedroom/two-bath home bordering the Feather River and Plumas National Forest. Offering 1,500 square feet of living space, it features a fully-equipped kitchen, cable TV/DVD, a CD player, stereo, and a large redwood deck with a view of the river. Our home sleeps six persons.
The Feather River is known for its fishing; and in the warm months it's very calm and swimmable. The Graeagle area is located at 4,400 ft. elevation in the eastern Sierra Mountains, about 50 miles north of Truckee. In the winter the area has about two feet of snow---pretty but not too deep! If you want to get away to a quiet location, good for cross country skiing or snow shoeing, away from the hustle and bustle of Tahoe, this is it!
Summer recreation is incredible. The home is within walking distance of the Plumas Pines Golf Resort (an 18-hole golf course) -- with four other golf courses within minutes.
Besides golfing, the area offers opportunities for hiking, biking, boating, fishing, rafting, eating out at charming, rustic restaurants, and local community events.
Plumas Eureka State Park is five miles up the road, where you can learn about the region's fascinating mining history. A one-hour scenic drive takes you to the North star ski area and Lake Tahoe. But, you won't want to leave!

This was a great place. The house was very nice and had everything that we needed. It was also a short walk to the pool and had a great deck overlooking the woods. Looking forward to coming back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

212 Sequoia is clean, well-stocked and comfortable, and the setting is quiet and peaceful. The property manager was helpful and responsive. The best courses in the area are very close by - we played four times in three days: Dragon at Nakoma is impossibly beautiful but difficult; Grizzly Ranch is picturesque and more playable. Dinner at the Grizzly Grill in Blairsden is highly recommended.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Why the Owner Chose Graeagle:
We chose this wonderful spot because we love all the mountains, lakes, and golf courses that surround the area. We are always finding some place new to explore in the area. It is a great place to relax and get away from the crowds.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our vacation home borders he Feather River and Plumas National Forest. We love to sit on the deck and enjoy the view and watch the wildlife. It is fun to take bike rides, go for walks, take hikes and go to nearby lakes to go kayaking. Of course there golf is another activity that we enjoy too. Sometimes we cook dinner, but often we choose to go visit one of the great restaurants near by. Two of our favorites are Gumba's (for a casual meal) or The Iron Door in Johnsville for a more elegant meal. It is also fun to go to Graeagle and visit the little shops that housed in the old residences of the original "mill" town and then hang out at the "mill" pond for some sun. We love it and hope you will too.
