Lovely home in a quiet cove. Spent many an afternoon napping in the hammock in the boat house. My girls enjoyed the canoe and sunbathing, and the boating was sensational.

My wife and I had remodeling done on our home and were looking for an escape during the construction. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint lake front home and were very impressed with the attention to detail inside. The designer boathouse is an added bonus and we spent our evenings overlooking the water and sunsets. We highly recommend this for anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable hideaway on the lake!

This place has all the feel and charm as "On Golden Pond"! I just kept waiting for Henry Fonda to come motoring up in his boat. The cabin has been redone and is cozy and comfortable with a hot tub right outside the master bedroom and a super new boathouse that has a spacious upstairs grilling, lounging and family hangout area overlooking the lake. We had a peaceful time here and the lake felt oh so refreshing. Many of the houses on the lake are huge and ostentatious looking, but this updated family owned gem of 55 years retains that "cabin by the lake" feel which was what we were looking for......don't find these much anymore.....thanks Bob for keeping it real and all of your kind and informative help, we'll be back!! This was our family's 3rd year at Lake Burton and we have stayed at this home the last 2. Nice flat lot and only a few steps up to the boat house which is rare for this lake. House maintained very well and is clean. Plenty of room to tie up your boat and jet ski if you decide to bring or rent them. There is a boat launch close to the house and a place on the property to park your boat trailer. This is a great relaxing vacation that even your teenagers will enjoy!

Took my whole family and Grandparents. Had a great stay. Swimming all day and canoeing after dinner on the lake was great. The boys loved the whirlpool. Relaxing naps each day on the boathouse. It could not have been better. PS My dog said the dock was a great place to jump off into the lake!
