Our private studio is attached to our main house, it is sound proof and has everything you need to be comfortable without being in the center of a resort. We are on a very quiet street away from the main road yet close enough to the village and ski area. Walking to the village on the scenic bikepath is one of our favorite things to do. It is just over one mile!

Our studio is located on a quiet street off the main road. Bring your bikes and you can pedal to the Village, one mile away or into Tahoe City on a beautiful bikepath (5 miles), or do the same on foot. There are some beautiful hiking trails closeby. Truckee is 10 miles away, with a newly paved bike path on highway 89. We are long time Squaw Valley residents and are pleased to offer any insights into the area.
About the owner: We have lived in Squaw Valley for many years. Alice is a retired physical education teacher and Paul has retired from an active design and building career. We have been married for 24 years and have 11 grandchildren. Keeping active is a lifestyle for us, biking, kayaking, hiking and dancing fills the days. Our studio guests love the idea that we know the area quite well and when asked are able to point them in the right direction.
