Our Christmas present to ourselves was perfect

I am very familar with the Fort Morgan area and really looked forward to sharing it with my husband. So for our Christmas present to each other, we left our two sons with relatives and made the easy drive over from the MS Gulf Coast to the Plantation the weekend after Christmas. The condo was much better than the pictures led us to believe it would be. We thought is would be nice but it was exceptional. Very comfortable with everything we needed. We had decided we would not leave once we got there so we stopped at the grocery store. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals. For two days it was just the two of us, the comfort of the condo and the wonderful view of the beach. We ate when we wanted, walked on the beach when we wanted, watched the movies we wanted and just had the most wonderful, rejuvinating time. The condo was just the right for us. I highly reccommend this condo to anyone who wants a stress free time. Even the clean up at the end of our stay was nothing, just take out the garbage and start the dishwasher. What could be easier? The whole process of making the reservation, checking in at the gate and finding the property was seamless. We plan to reserve this condo again and to tell our friends and family about it. It really is an outstanding place for rest and relaxation. And who can't use some R&R these days?

Perfect for the family

We stayed at this condo June 4-7. we were 4 adults and 2 children. The condo is just as the pictures show, and the whole resort is fabulous. The area of the beach was private and not overrun with all the tourist.. We stayed at the East pool majority of the time ( it is perfect for children), but did stay one day on the beach. The only downside was the hot-tub nearest our building was under construction/maint. Of course this is no reflection on the owner. They sent the keys in plenty of time before we left for our vacation. I would defintley reccommend this unit to anyone.

This condo has a great view of the pool and beach background. The people are so friendly and if you need to leave a boat there is a guard at the gate 24 hours. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Gulf Shores Plantation and we really liked this unit. We were down at the beach everyday and one of our friends was at Fort Morgan Pier launching his boat everyday. Fun for the whole entire group!

Our family has been renting beach condo's for several years on the Gulf coast. We all agree this condo was a great value and the location is our favorite. The unit was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The proximity to the beach and pools is great. If you like lots of traffic and crowded beaches, stay away! We look forward to our next visit.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and came back with our 2 year old son this year and loved it!!!!!It was close to the pools and close to the beach and just the right size for us.If you want a quiet and relaxing place to stay, this is the place!

Perfect Home Away from Home

This condo was a perfect home away from home. My husband and I took our two kids (ages 5 and 1) along with my husband's mother for a long weekend. Although the building looks older the condo has been recently renovated and is very nice. There are several pools at the resort but we loved the pool right in front of the condo because it was perfectly designed for small children. The pool starts at 1 foot deep and gradually goes to 5 feet deep. I could let my five year old play and not worry about him going too deep. We loved our stay and would recommend this condo to anyone with smaller children.

This was our second time staying at this condo. We really enjoy staying at the Gulf Shores Plantation. It is very family oriented, clean, and peaceful! The condo is in excellent condition. The only inconvenience was that all the mattresses for the beds were old and not comfortable. All in all we had a great time in Gulf Shores!

This family is a repeat guest at our Gulf Shores Plantation condo and we value their opinion. We to have evaluated the mattresses. They are not old, however we found they were not very high quality after we purchased them. We are replacing them with a better mattress and plan to have new ones in by the end of October.
