This is a genuine recently restored 5,000 sq foot Spanish Colonial home which dates from the 18th Century. Your party will be the only guests in the house but the actuall accessable space will depend on how many bedrooms you reserve.

                    We spent the first days of our honeymoon in Casa de Carandolet. The perfect place to enjoy historical Quito. Only a few blocks away from the main square, Plaza Grande, and the charming restaurant area, La Ronda. The house is beautiful, large and open, with atrium and roof top terrace with a splendid view.

                    Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

                    Mathieu's house is truly amazing! It feels like living in a Spanish colonial museum. He is also a terrific host. We booked at the last minute, and he was very responsive and arranged everything quickly including transportation from the airport. He made us feel right at home and helped make our experience in Quito fantastic! I would highly recommend this house for a memorable stay

                    Mathieus property "Casa de Carondelet " is a haven of peace, comfort, and beauty in Ecuadors magnificent capital. We do plan to stay in this property again, soon with the entire family of ten. Not only is "Casa de Carondelet" a wonderful home for the "Quitoian" explorer, the value added to our trip by the ability to buy all the local food, cook in, make a cosy fire in the bedroom and totally feel safe and relax is priceless. Mathieu is an attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful host. Our deepest thanks to him for sharing his home and passion for Quito with us and all of you intrested in real travel

Additionally, our travel agency is located in the first floor of this building (closed off from the rental area) and can service your travel needs while in Ecuador
