  Likes Apartment was spacious for our family of 4. Beds were very comfortable. Linens were clean and in very good condition. The Jacuzzi tub in the master bath was very nice after a day of walking. Location was close to the A & 1 subway stop. Customer service was excellent from the time of inquiry, through booking, confirmation, and getting in when we arrived. I mistakenly made duplicate payments, and Sergio immediately reversed the payments. Dislikes Aesthetics in the apt were somewhat lacking- some of the workmanship on renovations was very shoddy. The apt was clean and well maintained though, and for the price and amount of space it was easy to overlook the flaws. There was no vanity area outside the bathroom to get ready - bring a mirror and there is plenty of room to set up a spot in the bedrooms. The neighborhood was pretty far north in Manhattan, but the price/savings made it a fair trade off, and the subway ride to the tourist sites was not terribly lengthy. The neighborhood is predominantly Spanish speaking and an older neighborhood, but it still felt safe, with families out walking the dogs or kids in strollers. Overall for the price paid for the apartment, I felt we got a good value, and I have no complaints. Sergio and Fabiana were very easy to communicate with and helpful. I would recommend this apartment to anyone that is not seeking a "Ritz Carlton" experience, but more of a small step up from a Motel 6 - clean and comfortable with no frills.

  my fam viset from germany and loved it so clean the kitchen is fantastic better then my own the arpartment complex is verry charming you can wasch your clothing next door loved all the little stores and street venders you can arrange a limo thru the apt rental he is the best never late he came to the air port to the cruse ship and oll over new york yust think 6 germans in one car the man had to have patons

  Well what can I say! I found this apartment on VRBO and inquired, in less than 2 hours i got a response and booked it, they were super attentive and responsive, I paid with paypal and was all set, I arrived afterhours so they left me a lockbox and gave me the combination to open it and retrieve my key. The apartment was super clean and looked freshly painted. There were 3 queen beds and very comfortable mattresses, included several sets of towels, dishes, pots, silverwear, basically everything you need except shampoo. they even gave us a barsoap! The area was nice and plenty of restaurants and shops around, subway was less than one block away and 20 mins from times square. Great priced clothing stores very close! the building was also very clean, we met the super "primitivo" and he was super nice! STRONGLY recommend this apartment to anybody! Peace!

  Todo como lo prometieron . Todo estaba limpio , sabanas , toallas y vajilla , los muebles son los mismos que en las fotos Faltaban algunas ollas , si son muchos de familia Muy comodo para ir al teatro , a la opera y la zona de los bancos , pudimos estacionar el auto en la calle y usar el transporte publico Hay varios restaurantes en la zona , y estan abiertos hasta tarde Para ir a lavar la ropa hay que salir del edificio , si esta lloviendo es un problema Gracias a Sumaya por ayudarnos y a Nelson que nos vino a buscar y nos guardo el equipaje durante el dia Si se quiere gastar poco dinero , es para recomendar! Ale

  Gracias Fabiana por ayudarnos a elegir el departamento adecuado ¡!!! , A pesar que dudamos , cuando llegamos nos sorprendimos, el departamento estaba muy limpio ,comodo y bien amueblado , y tal como nos explicaras , el barrio resulto muy seguro y agradable , el viaje al centro a las atracciones para los niños en el train A fue muy fácil Los niños disfrutaron mucho en el Yacuzzi Espero nos podamos ver pronto , saludos a Sumaya y a Nelson que nos busco del aeropuerto Nos vemos el año próximo

  I booked this apartment for 6 adult women for a 4 day getaway to the city. When we arrived, the super wouldn't let us in and called the owner. I was then informed that the apartment was already rented. In his defense, Sergio felt terrible that the apartment had been double booked and attempted to make the situation right by offering us a one bedroom apartment in another part of the city for free. We re-packed all our luggage into the van, as the super laughed, and went to look at the property. It was much too small and we were uncomfortable with the neighborhood. We finally found a hotel but ended up incurring much more expense than we had originally budgeted for. We then asked Sergio if he would reimburse us for this additional expense, which he declined to do. He did, however, offer a 2 night stay at any of his apartments on a future visit. Sadly neither of these made the situation right for us. If renting from this owner, be VERY CAREFUL with your communication. If possible, get a confirmation number or something in writing besides an email, as email and phone conversations were not successful for our group.

  Owner response: We always appreciate the comments from guests because we assume that they would help us to improve our service in many ways and therefore turning into benefits for the next guest. In your case the review has a problem, you started the statement implying that you booked from us but actually you never did, therefore the rest of the review has no value. To book an apartment in NY or in any part of the world you need to pay a deposit and you “never did”. Assuming that I offered you another place for a reason or another is not helping your case. I always try to accommodate guests. Also when you called from the street to try to get in the apartment you believed you booked, my first reaction was to try to resolve the issue and later check what happened with your reservation. I looked at my calendar and saw that I had an opportunity to accommodate you in those units that happened to be together in the same building and neighborhood. The issue of being homeless was resolved. You just did not want to take the offer. After I took my time and did my research I found that after all the aggravation that I had, you never completed the booking. Just a thought, would you imagine how many people I would have lined up at this or any other apartment if I would not request a deposit to? Or how many people would not show up if they had not paid it?

  A group of 7 adults and one child stayed here and we LOVED it! Location was very safe, good neighbors and only a block away from the A Line Metro Station that takes you Anywhere you want to go in NYC. We really felt at home in this place. New appliances, wood flors, comfortable beds. Very clean! Not to mention they have a 50 inch Plasma with DVD player and satillite TV. If you feel like getting some great chinese food, I would recomend ordering from the "Great Wall" which is only a block away (free delivery) The best chinese I had in a long time! Sergio (the man to go to for the rental) was exceptional. He answerd all my phone calls if I had a question and was available 24/7 to us. I will NEVER stay in a Hotel in NYC anymore...this is the place to go to save money and to fell right at home!
