This Snowater Condo is the closest accommodations to Mt. Baker Ski Area. The condo is tucked away in the Mt Baker National Forest, on the shores of the Nooksack River. New hardwood floors in the living room, which is decorated in my own personal local photography. The one bedroom condo features a double bed, that can easily sleep two, and two pull out beds in the living room. You can comfortably sleep 4 people in the condo. The condo is also equipped with a 32' flat screen, Ipod dock, and DVD player. There are plenty of activities to and facilities to entertain the whole family. Tennis, racquetball, basketball(indoor and out), indoor swimming pool, with hot tub, hiking trails, and of course world class skiing in the winter, and amazing hiking and sightseeing in the summer.

Pretty much as close as you can get to Mt. Baker for lodging. Condo was exactly as described in the listing: cozy, clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities for a fun weekend of boarding (indoor community hot tub was key!). Had no trouble at all from inquiry to departure... great location, great value, great stay! Highly recommend!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The owner was prompt and professional during transactions. The unit was just as described. It is clean and quiet and sufficiently equipped. The grounds around the condo are beautiful and well-maintained. The skiing at Baker was mind-blowingly good. Good food at Grahams, just a few miles down the highway.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We stayed here for New Years eve and enjoyed two days of skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing at Mt Baker. The location can't be beat. The condo is small, but we found that there was plenty of room for 4 of us. The living room has a fold out double bed, and a separate fold out single bed. Several great snowboarding DVDs to keep us entertained in the evenigns too!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: I am a professional snowboard photographer that has lived in the Whatcom county area since '96. I gravitated towards Baker because of its reputation of deep snow, and small lift lines.... over the years it's still the same, minus the small lift lines on the weekends, but that's what happens when things become popular. I purchased the condo in hopes of living in Glacier someday, but my business thrives off of being connected and communicating at all times. That being said, this is why I love Glacier so much, because you can disconnect from the outside world, and just relax. I hope you enjoy my condo as much as I have, and pray for deep snow!

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Snowater is a comforting, relaxing place to be. You can try out some of the local restaurants, and there is a new pizza joint within walking distance. If you are a homebody, I have the place outfitted with everything you need to cook a great meal. Curl up on the sofa and watch a movie, or take a dip in the indoor pool. There are endless things to do at Snowater, but what you should be doing is going up to the best mountain in the world, and take the scenery while making deep powder turns!
