You will not want to leave this secluded and totally private luxury retreat nestled in the Hollywood Hills overlooking Universal City and Studios, just minutes from Studio City, Hollywood Blvd, Burbank, Griffith Park, LA Zoo and all the diversity that Los Angeles has to offer.
The property can comfortably sleep 6 people in 2 bedrooms, (1 king, 1 queen), and a convertible den that can be closed off to make a 3rd private bedroom with 2 single beds, ( a daybed and pop-up trundle that can be joined to make a second king bed if preferred). 2 bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, dining seating for 8 and ample off street parking.
All the rooms open out to a wide covered lanai which extends the full length of the house.....a great place to relax with breakfast, lunch or dinner or unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.
If you are in LA for business, there is an office area in the den with wireless Internet and a printer.

Stayed a week, found it very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. Great location for Hollywood-related activities. If you're going to do your own cooking, the kitchen is stocked with every piece of equipment you'd ever want. The place really does look just like the pictures, would stay there again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

Our family travelled from Australia to tour the East Coast of USA and our first stop was LA. Property 312914 was ideal for the five of us. The property was roomy and well appointed and was a good base for us to tour LA. Very close to Universal Studios where we had a great day out. Helen was very helpful with all information provided and some good tips for the local area. Beautiful fresh flowers provided in each room as well a fruit and nibbles basket. Would love to stay again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway.

stayed August 2010 for 5 days. Mrs. Walker the manager was easy to work with and very helpful, as my wife had sprained her ankle just before arrival and was unable to move around much. I found the home clean, relatively quiet (it is CA), relaxing. Nice kitchen to cook in, porch is great for sitting to eat. Beds comfortable. Lots of nice touches. Convenient, 5 minutes to Universal, 15 or less to Hollywood. Hilltop home up narrow canyon road. Children under 6 probably real bad idea, as steep drop if they get off porches. I would like to be able to stay here again, and I am picky.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

We also do not recommend this property for toddlers or crawling infants and fully concur that small children need to be monitored at all times on the lanai, in case they crawl under, or climb over the railings. However, we also have a fully enclosed private courtyard where this would not be an issue. We hope your wife recovers quickly and that you will visit us again soon.
