The owners accommodated us last-minute when we realized we had to stay longer than expected in Tucson. We felt so at-home in this beautiful little attached cottage. Quiet, modern and newly remodeled, where all our needs were met. Wish we had had more time to enjoy the patio/deck. It was so cozy, clean and convenient. Thanks so much - we are repeat customers from one of the owners' previous properties. Very kind people. Rosa and Paul Robinson

Stayed at another one of the owner's properties and needed to extend my stay for a few days. They offered this gem up and I was floored when I arrived. I had just had a great week long stay in another one of their units and so happy with that stay that I did not think it could get any better - well it did! The owners maintain their properties as if they lived in them. They truly seem to care about their guests experience - something you do not seem to get these days - true care! I would recommend this property and the other properties the owners have available for your stay. I kind of hate to publicly put so much good stuff out about their properties because I want to be selfish and keep these finds to myself but the owners are really good people and deserve the praises contained here in. Just bring your food and you are set. Could not think of anything else I would need for my stay. More space than I could have ever used, a nice BIG soaking tub, comfortable LARGE bed, closet space galore. I could write for hours! Check out the pictures - they really do not do the property justice - it is so much more than what is pictured. You will be really impressed not only by the property but also by the owners! Truly wonderful, caring and thoughtful owners - give them a shot - you will be happy your did.

We enjoyed our stay in Casa Serena enormously, and were actually a little overwhelmed with the amount of space (we live in a small apartment). Every detail was as promised and we couldn't be more pleased. Of course, the location was a huge bonus. We could easily walk to the Rincon Cafe, which was especially unusual, since Tucson is not a walking city. This is our second rental with Carole and Gary and they never fail to treat us like long-absent relatives.

This is a very nice apartment. It is close enough to U of A to walk or bike. Gary and Carole have a couple of bikes for guests. There are restaurants within walking distance. It is very peaceful and you can forget you are even in a city if you choose to. The extra small room off the bedroom was very useful to me. We brought my sewing machine and they provided an extra table and I was able to work on my quilting while my husband was off at U of A. Gary and Carole couldn't have been more accommodating. The kitchen is somewhat of a challenge. I would not plan to actually cook meals there but it is very useful for re-heating restaurant food or pre-cooked food from the grocers. Most travelers prefer to eat out anyway but for long term stays we like to have a homecooked meal a couple of times a week. We gave up after a couple of tries. Other than the kitchen we absolutely loved the apartment and would highly recommed it to anyone looking for an apartment in Tucson.

We had a wonderful stay here. It started with Carole meeting us at the door and showing us the place. We chose Casa Serena for it's location. We used to live in Tucson and the Sam Hughes neighborhood is peaceful, very central and safe. It is close to everything. Casa Serena has everything you need. We had no need for a full kitchen since we were dining with friends every night. Casa Serena is clean and comfortable and so much more pleasant than staying at a hotel. It is a great little getaway and we would stay there again without hesitation. Summing it up, we would have to say that Gary and Carole were the most pleasant part of this stay. They make you feel very welcome and in the event you would need something, you know you could ask them and it would never be a problem. I would recommend this property without any hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Serena! Beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing casita for your stay in Tucson. Master bedroom. Huge TV screen for children and wifi for us! Lovely patio to enjoy the sun of Arizona, even during winter. Very nice neighborhood. Close to the University of Arizona. Gary and Carole are very nice owners. We strongly recommend this address for a perfect stay in Tucson. You won't regret your choice. Pour les français de passage à Tucson, nous recommandons vivement cet endroit!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Serena! We were met by the owners (Gary and Carole) who went out of their way to make certain that our needs were met during our stay. They were available promptly for any questions we had, but were never intrusive. The property itself was a pleasant surprise - great location in a lovely old neighborhood in central Tucson. Everything was imaculate, all amenities available including a big screen TV with a large and varied choice of DVDs. There were only 2 of us, but there is a futon in the livingroom and 3-4 could easily be accommodated. The bedroom is very large with a king-sized bed and pleanty of closet space. Lovely patio - unfortunately it was too cool to enjoy it (or the barbeque)! We have stayed in Tucson many times and will definitely return to Casa Serena again! Thanks again to Gary and Carole for their hospitality.

We recently spent two weeks at Casa Serena while we helped our Tucson daughter with her new baby and two year old. It was just perfect for our stay as Casa Serena is a beautiful space, convenient and very comfortable. We also enjoyed meeting Gary and Carole and appreciated their hospitality and concern for our comfort. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed staying at Casa Serena and Gary and Carole went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. It was an excellent choice for the weekend and an excellent choice anytime. The master bedroom and master bath was amazing and felt very much like home. Gary and Carole made me feel like family, and Casa Serena is extremely comfortable, relaxing, and perfect location in the downtown area of Tucson. Overall I highly recommend Casa Serena and we plan on staying there again and highly recommended to family and friends traveling and visiting Tucson.

We enjoyed staying at Casa Serena! It was an excellent choice for our Thursday to Sunday stay. It also was a great value for the price. We especially liked the Master Bedroom and Master Bath which are "5 STAR" quality. Also the big screen TV was a nice surprise. Both Gary and Carole, Casa Serena owners, did their best to make us feel comfortable and even provided recommendations of nearby places to eat. Casa Serena doesn't have a full kitchen, but if you plan to only have light meals there and eat-out often then it is an excellent choice for the price. Overall we highly recommend Casa Serena and we plan on staying there again the next time we need to stay in Tucson!

Gary and Carole, we wanted to express what a nice time we've had in Tucson, utilizing your "Casa Serena" vacation rental! Great spacious floor plan, wonderfully furnished with double vanities in bathroom, king bed {or 2 twins}, big screen TV in living room and kitchenette with microwave - just what we needed! Could not beat the value and the charming host and hostess - certainly 5 stars from our perspective! We'd highly recommend it to any prospective guests! - Paul and Angela from Buckeye, Az.

Casa Serena was the perfect place to stay when we came to Tucson from Portland. It is in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Tucson (historic Sam Hughes) and the best part for me was how close it was to the University of Arizona. Walking through the neighborhood to get to the college, seeing all of the beautiful houses and landscapes made it a truly "serene" experience. If you aren't interested in walking, they have bikes available which I found to be very useful during our stay. It is really close to everything we needed, and a block away from a really neat restaurant/market called Rincon Market (great for breakfast). The room was so nice and comfy, and the owners were so very sweet and welcoming! I would suggest this gem for anyone looking for a peaceful get away, that is both lovely and convenient.
