Our thanks to Catherine for thinking of just about everything in her charming apartment near the Place des Vosges. A comfortable and inviting bed, lots of light, an extremely efficient kitchen space, the level of cleanliness, the simple but well-chosen colors, lots of towels, a quiet courtyard, and even a welcome bottle of wine all contributed to making this apartment even better than we had expected. The proximity to the wonderful shops and restaurants, the public transportation (bus and metro very nearby), and Catherine's very professional handling of all aspects of the rental made our stay extremely pleasant. Merci, Catherine.

My family of four just returned from Paris and we stayed at this particular apartment. The pictures are right on. It's a beautiful property with a quiet, inviting, flowering and amazing courtyard. The apartment was just big enough for our family. The master bedroom is huge, with a comfortable bed, plenty of closet space, wonderful window and balcony and bath and many thick towels. PERFECT! Our teen girls slept on the sofa bed, which was just fine for a week. The fridge, washer/dryer, air conditioning and accommodations and separate bath were a plus. We were in a great location with many dinners by the Seine. I would stay here again when I go back to Paris. A terrific place.

Karen and I wanted to thank you for offering us your home. We had a great time made all the better by your wonderful living space and its location. We would not have changed a thing and hope that perhaps someday we can return. Our only disappointment is the that we can not get a decent Croissant near us much less two doors down as we did each morning on Rue de Turrenne . You have spoiled us! Jeff

Dear Catherine, We are leaving for our long trip home and wanted to thank you for the use of your wonderful apartment. We had a delightful time and enjoyed every second. Everything was better than expected. I wanted to pass along a couple things not in anyway as a complaint, but we appreciate it when people do so in our vacation rental home. There was absolutely nothing but perfection from our stand point. Leslie ( Austin, Texas)

My husband and I planned this 9 day stay in Paris to celebrate our 25th anniversary and we were not disappointed. The pictures do not do the apartment justice...it is well appointed, clean, spacious, quite, extremely comfortable and lovely. As they say location is everything and this location had everything plus it is in a very safe neighborhood. Close to all the sites, transportation, great shopping and restaurants. We would spend hours walking and exploring the neighborhood. We only had one small setback the A/C did not work the first few days, luckily it was not hot. However, Catherine attended to getting it fixed promptly and delivered fans in the interim. She does everything possible to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. There is a great wine shop next door and the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful at selecting wines. Our last night in Paris we bought a bottle of champagne from her shop and took an evening cruise down the Seine to toast a wonderful vacation. We fell in love with Paris and had a wonderful experience thanks to the apartment at Rue de Turenne!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay in this lovely apartment this past September. The location was excellent, in the lively Marais district, yet set in a very quiet and private courtyard. It is very easy to navigate the city, as bus and metro stops are nearby. The decor is modern and chic, with all of the amenities an American might not find in other Parisian apartments. Catherine was extremely accomodating. In fact, when the satellite tv box was malfunctioning on a weekend when the satellite company was closed, she replaced it with her own personal set! Thanks again Catherine, this will be our Parisian home away from home.

Ever since we returned home from Paris I have been daydreaming of the city and this apartment. I spent 8 days here with my 18-year old daughter and it served our needs perfectly. The location is excellent and the neighborhood is, of course, wonderful. I have rented VRBO-listed properties before and the online photos/descriptions have not always reflected the reality. But this time we were so pleased and thrilled that the apartment lived up to its photos and description. It is as wonderful as it sounds! We were greeted by owner Catherine who could not have been more pleasant - and who patiently waited for us to make our way from the airport. I may have to make a point of visiting Paris more often - and I imagine I'll want to return to Rue de Turenne!

Catherine,Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful apartment. It is so bright, well furbished and plenty large. It’s location made us feel very safe. My wife was able to jog every morning at daybreak around the area with no worries or concerns regarding her safety. The grocery store around the corner was also very convenient. We were gone 6-10 hours a day and visited ALL parts of Paris and my wife & I both agree this is our favorite area. WHEN we come back you’ll be the first we call to stay in your apartment again.Dan & Faith

*Couldn't get the broadband to work with my laptop -- and I have AOL ... perhaps I should've checked it out before leaving U.S. *Our DVDs wouldn't read; the message said: wrong region ... we purchased a DVD from the Louvre and noticed there were US and European choices *We found the washer/dryer card in English, which was very helpful -- you may want to keep the various language cards available in a nearby drawer *The closest Metro stop is St. Paul *We regrettably didn't go to Place de Voges until the last night -- it was wonderful and our children enjoyed Cafe Hugo immensely [as did we] ... *You can't brag enough about your place ... it is awesome -- as you said, WE DID LOVE IT -- very centrally located and well appointed.
