Other Fernandina Beach Properties townhome description
Accommodations: Our luxury unit has 2 master bedrooms and master baths, one upstairs and one downstairs, each with queen size beds. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds and bath and is located downstairs. The family room couch pulls out to make a queen size bed. Linens are furnished. Our home sleeps 6-8. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with GE Profile appliances; gas stove, stainless steel microwave, convection and standard oven and large refrigerator. But there is much more. It has a “Summer Kitchen”, fully equipped with gas grill, refrigerator, sink, fire place (great in the winter for cooking and eating out), large screened-in court yard with plants galore, a seating area with swing and rocking chairs and ample space to set up our ping pong table for active visitors. There is also a sundeck for sun worshipers off the family room. Cable television is available in each of the three bedrooms and the family room. Also a computer with high-speed internet service is available. The upstairs bedroom has a balcony overlooking the court yard. We have an end unit which is very private and quiet.
Amenities: We offer the use of our golf cart for trips to the community’s award winning pool. It is also nice for “cruising” the Preserve. We have beach chairs and an umbrella, numerous beach paraphernalia, and a regulation size ping pong table.
The Island itself has 13-miles of beautiful beaches, abundant native wildlife, and pristine waters. It has long been a favorite destination for visitors and residents alike. In fact, Amelia was recently voted #4 among Top 10 North American Islands by Conde Nast Traveler's 2009.
There are numerous golf courses on the Island and the Ritz Carlton with its fine restaurants sits in the Heart of the Summer Beach community. For walkers and joggers, there is a beautiful canopy covered natural preserve walk and bicycle trail stretching from the Preserve to historic American Beach. For history buffs, there is historic town of Fernandina Beach, with its historic railroad station, many historic homes, and the oldest Saloon in Florida (also serves a good drink). There is also Fort Clinch State Park on the northern end of the Island and a second State park on the southern end. Downtown Fernandina Beach has numerous small shops and restaurants, but they are not confined to downtown, they are found in abundance all over and just off the Island.

The pictures of this beautiful Beach House do not do it justice. My family & I stayed for two glorious weeks in July 2011. Upon walking in the front door my grand daughter exclaimed "Oh Nana, I think I've died & gone to heaven". The house was beautifully decorated and oh so comfortable. Everything was provided. The screened in patio was wonderful to sit out at night. We went to the pool & or the beach almost every day. They are both within walking or biking distance. The beach at Amelia Island is fantastic for walking, biking & of course swimming. The owners couldn't have been more gracious. Can't wait to go back next year! Try it, I know you will like it!!
