  This comfortable older one story rambler is very traditional for the area, yet made us feel at home. It was a bit hard to find driving from the airport with the driving directions we were given,. But they welcomed us with a bottle of malbec made from grapes from the familys vineyards and they also arranged for the gardener to prepare a traditional Parilla dinner later in the week. We used the wood fired barbeque ourselves for several meals. After spending a fun five days there, we bought tickets at the Mendoza terminal and traveled by bus over the Andes to Santiago for the next part of our vacation in Chile.

  This house is really lovely. It's simple and charming, with beautiful original details and nice, comfortable furniture. Our family stayed here for six weeks and loved it. The house is also immaculately clean and very well-equipped with everything you might need for cooking, etc. The local staff, including a house manager, housekeeper, and gardener/maintenance man, is excellent -- extremely helpful with anything you might need and immediately responsive to any issue. The pool is well-maintained, a perfect temperature and size, and the gardens are very pretty. The house is well set back from the road, so there is no noise from road traffic. The house itself is located a 15 minute walk from the charming village of Chacras de Coria, which is full of fancy little food stores (butcher, baker, fresh pasta, ice cream, coffee, wine), very nice restaurants, and a nice artisan fair on Sundays. There are actually a couple of wineries within walking distance of the house, and about twenty within a 15 minute drive. It really is right in the heart of Mendoza wine country. I would highly recommend this house to anyone going to Mendoza.

  we stayed at this home with swimming pool, just great after spending the day in town, we jump in the pool after a very hot day. the house is big so spacious, we were 6 and it was perfect, the garden is just beautiful, the parrillada that Esteban made for us, courtesy of the owners was just great. its a perfect house for family. we hope to return again and will certainly stay at this house, we strongly recommed it. even tho Charcas is a small community, it has grocery stores, restaurants and shopping, to get into Mendoza, just take a b us, no prob lems.

  A private 3 bedroom house with lots of room and nice verandah for evening drinks. The feeling is one of seclusion and calm, lots of birds in a large beautiful garden. Wine shop, grocers and vineyards near by. Complementary wine and olive oil from the owner's vineyards and orchards plus a complementary parilla (BBQ) prepared by the gardener was generous and unexpected. I would add that the young woman who greeted us very kind, cheerful and ready to help whenever we asked. Although the water pressure was low at times this can be expected in a desert environment. Overall this was a great place to stay and good value for the quality. This was far more enjoyable than staying in Mendoza. Highly recommended.

  The most wonderful thing about visiting Mendoza is the graciousness of the people and the wonderful hospitality. These qualities are abundant at this rental. There is no limit to what they will do to make your stay wonderful. You will be treated to an asado (Argentinian BBQ), the property is exquisitely maintained, the key person (Janina) is delightful and always ready to help. Before I rented I wondered if the grounds could be as spectacular as they looked in the pictures - they are! The house is not a modern house but is very well maintained and very well provisioned. When you are in the kitchen you feel that people actually live here - good wine glasses, professional knives, etc. I had the unfortunate experience while in Mendoza to take a bad fall and injure myself. I mentioned my "misadventure" to the owner's father who happened to stop by and within hours I was contacted by the owners to find out if I needed referrals to doctors or if I wanted them to set up a universal gym they had in storage to help with my physiotherapy. The area where the house is located is about 15 - 20 minutes from Mendoza and very close to wineries. You can actually rent bikes right in Chacras de Coria to visit the local wineries. It is an upscale neighbourhood where you do your shopping at small, boutique providers. Some are "fancy" boutiques and some are farmers with a hole in the wall. All are charming. I definitely recommend visiting Mendoza and I also recommend these hosts.

  We (two couples from Canada) just spent a week in paradise. An immaculate, private, charming home set in a garden with a private pool in the middle of wine country. The owners were extremely helpful and responded without hesitation. They even put on a private Asado with a charming chef and delicious meat in the back yard. The residence surpassed expectations. I would recommend this residence without hesitation to a friend or relative.

  We loved our time in Mendoza. The house , in a lovely village just south of the city, worked perfectly for us and our family. The home was a gracious and spacious Argeninian style hacienda set among beautiful rose gardens, fragrant shrubs, and sheltering trees. The house was impeccably clean and our hosts had thought of everything to ensure our comfort. Our hosts took a personal interest in helping us enjoy our time in Mendoza, and their suggestions for touring in the area were invaluable. We highly recommend this property.
