  Hard to find places in Big Bear that aren't shabby. If you care about your place having style and taste this is the answer! Besides that, it's convenient to town and Summit-- which I believe is less than 2 minutes away!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We just got back from a great long weekend at Niko's Nido. The house is just what you would expect from a mid-century modern situated in the mountains (very cool and cozy at the same time). The rental process was simple and Danielle was fantastic helping us with the details. We even had a clogged kitchen drain that was handled very quickly by Danielle's handyman. The great room is beautiful, made even more so by a warm fire in the impressive fireplace. The house is also set up fabulously for kids with board games, tv, dvd, and wii. The wifi also works great and there is at&t cell phone service. The location is great for access to the slopes and amenities, but it also gives you the feel of living in a nice quiet mountain neighborhood. It is highly recommended, and we will be back to enjoy it some more.

  This was our second stay at Niko's Nido. The renovations to the house are wonderful - clean, sophisticated, and comfortable! The house as a whole is lovely and inviting - great for a romantic getaway or family vacation. The location is also fantastic - close to various points of interest. We love that this mid-century modern home is in Big Bear amidst A-frame (and often odd looking!) cabins - it is truly a modern gem. Thanks for opening up your home to us!

  Property was as promised, wonderful. Spacious and cozy at the same time. Supposedly a jacuzzi is in the works and that will make it perfect. Great for a romantic escape or a family vacation. Photos were right on. Owner very easy to work with. Centrally located to everything from skiing/tubing to nature hikes, stores nearby and great star gazing from any of the 3 decks. The fireplace and large, comfy couches guarantee fun times. All the amenities you expect and more (wifi, wii, bluray, etc.).

  Absolutely beautiful house. Big, clean and nicely decorated. We spent 3 nights at Nico's Nido and really enjoed our time there. You´ll find everything you need,in- and outside the house. Perfect location: the slopes are very close. Contact with Danielle was lovely! I highly recommend this place. Thanks for the good time!!!! .

  We had a phenomenal time at Niko's Nido. This home was spacious and inviting for our family of four, beautifully decorated and comfortable too. The floor to ceiling windows offered us views of falling snow and we are so happy we found this gem of a property amongst your typical run-of-the-mill cabins. We will definitely be coming back to stay again.

  This is by far the best cabin at a reasonable price in Big Bear. I've stayed in many other cabins, some much more expensive, but this by far is the best. Conveniently located and super clean(i.e: no stains on sheet, no spider webs, clean kitchen, etc..) You really can't ask for better!

  The cabin is beautiful and is just like the pictures. Its in the best location to Snow Summit and Big Bear. This was our first time at Big Bear and first time skiing and we fell in love with the cabin and the area. I highly recommend it staying here! Danielle was very helpful from day one and we felt right at home the minute we opened the doors. Cant wait to re-book and come back!!!

  The PERFECT couples retreat. Super stylish, clean and cozy...a rarity up here! There's no better way to do Big Bear than at Niko's Nido. We will definitely be back for some more!

  Beautiful well put together modern home, not like anything in Big Bear. Couldn't have asked for a better spot for our girl's weekend. Sophisticated yet comfortable. The huge windows made us feel like we were outdoors. The home is so comfortable and perfect for dinners and lots of wine by the fire! Can't wait to come back, thank you Niko for sharing your hideaway with us.
