This single family home is a 2 bedroom,1 bath, fully furnished, Oceanfront (no home lies between this home and the ocean) home. Unlike the majority of northern shore vacation home rentals,this one is located away from the main highway's road & noise, comes with a Luxury Spa &high speed DSL internet. "Private", because you are the only occupant on this whole property (Owner does not live on this property!!). The land size for this home is about 11,000 square foot and large enough to have a volleyball game. The oceanfront although a rocky cliff is about eight feet above the water and offers a fantastic view that should leave you breathless as soon as you open the front door.
Since this is a rocky peninsula (about 3 city blocks long), miles of sandy beaches are located just minutes away by foot on either side of this area. Our neighborhood's private sandy beach "right away" is just about 3-4 houses away (55-100 Naupaka Street). Walking along this beach is pleasant and virtually deserted (check out the Hawaiian swimming pool at the end of this beach (about a 20 minute walk). The other (opposite side) sandy beach which is about a 15 minutes walk, takes you pass some rivers and one of the most popular picnic/camping areas on this island. Laie point is also popular for the big game fisherman. (Bring your fishing pole,,, PS. you can even fish directly from our land).
Other popular places here is the body surfing beach called Pounder's Beach, Polynesian Culture Center.
Near by famous places within 30 minutes away... Sunset Beach (World Surfing Contests), Waimea Bay and Valley, five miles of the most famous surfing beaches in the world.
For the tourist: visit Haleiwa (shopping for friends, fishing boats, jet skiing and more surfing) and Turtle Bay Hilton in Kahuku for some fancy eating and night entertainment (about 10 minutes away).
And after visiting these areas you can come back to your home on the ocean and take a nice hot spa experience that you should never forget.
PS. This home is in a residential neighborhood and so you will get the feel of what it is like to live in Hawaii.
The three decks and views makes this home a special place to enjoy. Why go to a fine dining resturant just have dinner at home with the best view in town.
The spa also makes this home extra special. Just think of seeing the views during the day or looking at the stars at night from this soothing spa.
The yard is considered large in Hawaii's terms and mostly level.
The kitchen is new with range, refrigerator and cabinets. (comes furnished with Blender, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, pots, dishes...

Activities: Three golf courses within 15 minutes of this home, hiking (check out the published hiking books), fishing, diving, surfing just outside your door, reading books... this is the home for it. Visiting (being a tourist). Polynesian Culture Center, Waiamea Valley/Bay, Haleiwa, lots more! Explore... note: If you intend to visit Waikiki everyday, this is not the place for you (its about a hour away by car). Horse back riding, water equipment: Turtle Bay Hotel offers rentals to non-hotel guests.

Why the Owner Chose Laie
I bought this home with the intentions to one day retire at an oceanfront home and a pleasant neighborhood community. But for financial reasons we cannot retire at this time however would like to periodically use this home as a getaway from the busy city (farther away from Waikiki the better).
The Unique Benefits of this Residential Home
A very simple/average home sitting among milion dollar homes. Simple is the word so we also only expect lower rates for this one. But the views and ocean sounds are worth millions.
