My husband, 15 month old and I needed a quick getaway and Casa Verde was the answer! A hotel room did not allow the space a toddler needs. Casa Verde is budget friendly, in a great location and the hot tub is a great way to end the day. Joe and his Dad were prompt to answer any questions we had. We were so pleased with our choice to stay here we did not read the posting on the fridge. Everything you need to know about wi-if, the hot tub and etc. is located on the fridge. We are looking forward to visiting Casa Verde again. The Taco Bus and Fray's Doughnuts are to die for! Again you cannot beat the location. Casa Verde is close to everything!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The house was clean and set up for housekeeping from the very first. I felt that any problems would be addressed by the owners without a problem; I just didn't have any! There was plenty of room for our family of six, and the two bathrooms came in handy with the three teenagers! My youngest loved the large backyard with the lizards and tropical plants. And we all enjoyed evenings in the hot tub. I'm from the area so I was very happy to be able to rent something so close to my parents. The neighborhood is in a quiet location but still very central to downtown and the beaches. I liked walking to Starbucks and to the several restaurants nearby. It was the perfect cute Florida home and I would definitely recommend the home to friends and family. .Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our crew of four chose Casa Verde as our land base for a national regatta. Perfect accommodations on all fronts. Clean, spacious, optimum layout, two bathrooms were prized. But most importantly was Joe and his fathers welcoming personal handling of our booking and stay. We will be back, assuming we qualify...Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We absolutely loved Casa Verde. It was the perfect location near everything. Our favorite part was the backyard with grill and patio and hot tub. We made some very special memories and it was so relaxing to cook at home and then enjoy the patio with lots of conversation and a bottle of wine to share. The home was spacious and well kept and the owners were extremely accommodating. We loved the new updated shower and the decor was bright and cheery. We have already recommended this to others and we will definitely return again. We wanted a house that was as close as possible to our daughter's wedding at the Womens' Club in the historic NE area of downtown St. Pete. The location could not have been better. It was perfect for our needs.From the listing photos I was able to determine that there would be ample room for our wedding preparations. The bonus room proved to be a great area for the hair and make up, roomy with ample natural light.The property was clean,well maintained and tastefully renovated, we loved the VW memorabilia. The garden is private and tastefully landscaped. We really enjoyed relaxing on the porch. We will be recommending this to our friends and relatives and if we are in need of staying in St Pete area again we will certainly plan on staying here. Joe is great to work with and was very helpful in answering our questions.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was our 2nd stay in Casa Verde, both times with a crew of 6 sailors competing at SPYC and needing a comfortable base in which to relax and prepare. This house met all our needs, especially the hot tub, and has a nice homely feel rather than a sterile condo.The location is super quiet yet close to all amenities. Looking forward to returning again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The property is very clean and has all the amenities to just relax when you have downtime. There were six adults staying there and we had room for two more. We were visiting St. Petersburg attending a wedding and were so glad we rented a house that could accommodate a small reunion with our family the day after the wedding. The house is close to main road and within seven minutes of downtown St Petersburg.There are plenty of fine restaurants to dine at and the grocery stores are near by if eating in is your choice. The owner promptly returned our deposit as he promised. We highly reccommend Casa Verde if a down home experience is what you are looking for.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners.

The two of us thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Casa Verde. We loved the hot tub and back yard landscaping. Every thing St. Petersburg has to offer is very close and convenient. It was really nice to be able to spend a relaxing evening at home after a busy day. Casa Verde was the perfect destination for our multi-family get away. The house was clean, extremely spacious and fully equipped for all of our needs. All six of us were comfortable and had space to call our own. The house was convenient to everything St. Petersburg had to offer, and just a short drive to Tampa. Great House! Plenty of room for family of 6 and 4 dinner guests. House was very clean including bedding and dishes. Both heat and air worked nicely as we had diversified weather during our stay. Hot tub and backyard landscaping were main gathering spot. Nearby restaurant Melting Pot was unique fondue experience. Titanic Museum in St Petersburg and lunch at the Huricane Restaurant in St Pete Beach fulfilled our ocean experience as cool temps and windy conditions prohibited any beach activities. Joe and Susie have a beautiful home and JR was only a phone call away if needed. I definitely recommend Case Verde for a home away from home. Very spacious, well kept, comfortable, quiet, and super clean home. Modern kitchen and bathrooms. The owners are fantastic, and local relatives are involved in the care of the home in between guests, so the property is very well cared for. We were pleasantly surprised upon walking into the cutest bungalow ever. The remodeled bathrooms were fabulous and we loved that fact that the 2 bathrooms were at opposite ends of the house. My mother wanted to spend an active weekend away at the beack with her children and grandchildren. We enjoyed the beach and Busch Gardens. It was great to come back after long days to rest in the peaceful hot tub in the backyard retreat. Check in and check-out was as simple as a phone call. We would definitely recommend this place to maybe a 2 couples, but it was great with 3 small children (4, 6, 10).Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Myself, my wife and two grandchildren had a blast. The house had all the comforts of home. It was like taking my house on vacation. Everything we needed was there and if we needed something that wasn't there it was within walking distance away. The kids loved your father at the bait hut, they had a great time feeding the pelicans. Anyone would be crazy to look at anything other than Casa Verde. If your looking for a peace and quite living arrangement, Casa Verde has it all, thanks Joe and thank your dad for us also.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here while attending our daughter's college graduation. Our arrival times changed several times and the owner was very flexible and accommodating. Place was great! Easy travel to and from downtown, clean, and the owners were super easy to deal with. Sorry to them for not posting this sooner! 4 of us wanted a place that was private and quiet and near everything. This house has it. Nice quiet neighborhood, well furnished house, great private fenced backyard and easily accessible to St. Pete, beaches, piers and marinas and Tampa. We used Casa Verde as a base for 6 sailors competing at St Pete YC and found it very comfortable, relaxing and convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and parking is easy, yet only 10 mins drive from SPYC. My crew heartily appreciated the hot tub to relax aching muscles and having washing/drying and kitchen facilities available. This place feels much more homely than many vacation rental properties.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We very much enjoyed our five week stay at Cara Verde. It was very clean and comfortable and the owners' representatives were quite friendly and helpful. There are lots of things to do in St. Petersburg and we especially enjoyed several local ethnic restaurants that were very good. The walking and biking opportunities were great with easy connection to the Pinnelas Trail. We enjoyed the hot tub and eating on the back patio. Would recommend this property to others.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

I searched all over for a nice place for my family to stay while visiting for Christmas. This house was perfect. The futons were comfy and it was so sweet to have separate areas for people to hang out. So my girls (under 6) could sleep while the adults sat out back sipping eggnog while taking a dip in the hot-tub. There are several decent places to eat within walking distance. The house is a little dated but you can tell there are lots on nice updates and renovations that make the place very inviting. The place was great for kids to spread out and play with their newly opened Christmas booty. I really liked the enclosed back yard.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I rented this house for my family to gather and have Thanksgiving dinner. We had roughly 20 people and this house fit the bill well as my family gathered for the afternoon. This house has two bedrooms and a den, family room and living room. Every room other than the kitchen and bathrooms have some type of sleeping space. The back den is nice, if no one is on the patio or in the hot tub. Parking for more than four or five could can be a problem. The house was clean and net with nice renovations in the bathroom.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers.

We enjoyed staying at this lovely rental. The home was peaceful and spacious with a lovely outdoor area. We had plenty of room for our party of 6 and our children enjoyed playing in the safe and fenced yard. We will recommend this rental to our friends and will look forward to staying here if we return to the Tampa area. This place is very clean and comfortable. It is in a quiet neighborhood and has a nice backyard to sit out it. We stayed here for a weekend of watching spring training baseball in the area and would stay again as it beats hotels for a group of friends in terms of convenience and price. We loved staying at Casa Verde while we stayed in St Pete! It is so close to downtown and the Pier, close to bridges to get to Tampa, and overall a great location. The house is cute and spacious outer areas make for plenty of room for privacy within your party. This home was a perfect place for my husband and I to stay in while were in the area. It was clean and the decorating was so fun. We enjoyed the hot tub and rain shower. JR was very helpful about things to do around town. We went a club close by that was lots of fun. One night we were tired and just walked to Appleby's for dinner. It was easy to find and easy to get around the area. We spent a day at Ybor City. Perfect! The home was immaculate and well stocked, although I wish it had a teapot. Location was convenient to downtown St. Petersburg, the beaches, shopping/groceries and restaurants. Super cute house and a very cool back yard! I loved the tropical, airy feel of the place and I was very surprised by how much room there was for everyone. We had 8 people there and it was totally fine. And totally cheap after splitting the cost among all of us. It turned out to be such a great deal!!! This house was amazing, very well maintained. We had 4 adults and 4 children, and it slept us all comfortably. I think the only negative thing would be the house only having one small T.V., other then that i have no complaints. This rental is amazing! The house and back yard were beautiful. Our family had a wonderful time during our stay here. We like to cook at home and LOVED cooking in the newly remodeled kitchen (which is nicer than my kitchen at home!). We had everything we needed and were impressed by how CLEAN everything was. Our teenagers loved the cable TV and the wireless internet... It really was a perfect place to stay for our trip to Florida...a short drive to the beach...and very close to downtown St. Pete...such a cute town! Relaxing in the hot tub after a "hard" day at the beach was wonderful... Joe and Susie (the owners) were so nice...and WE CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK!!! Our family loved our stay in this beautiful Florida home! We spent many evenings sitting on the back yard patio enjoying the lush fenced in back yard, and mornings peacefully listening to the birds singing. The interior of the home is lovely and meticulously maintained--our favorite room was the sunny yellow Florida room. The location of the home is conveniently close to major roads with easy beach and pier access, and we really got to enjoy St Pete during our stay. We were completely satisfied with our stay, and felt very much at home--and we are already planning a return trip!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

If I had my wish, I would spend all available vacation time in Florida and each time I'd prefer this house. This property is spacious enough for 8 to 10 people. One of the best feature I liked about this property is the bigger bathrooms. Bathrooms are not only big but are decorated with personal taste. Many people put extra efforts in decorating their bathrooms but the owners have gone(it appears) an extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. And if you like to Golf, there are many golf courses around this property at accessible driving distance. They have a big yard, all fenced in, so if you have kids you can let them run amok in the yard, while staying with in the sight. I will definitely recommend this place.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
