  After coming to Apalach and St. George for 13 years and trying many different rental properties we found Chasing Pirates and we have stayed there 3 times and hope to visit again.The beds are extremely comfortable, the furnishings are lovely, it is very well maintained and has a gorgeous view. The pictures and descriptions are totally accurate and we love having an elevator for arrival and departure. The owner is extremely helpful and accomodating. St. George is a beautiful, quiet, and authentic place.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  Our family usually spends a couple of weeks each year on the island and have stayed at several different properties over the years and this has become one of our favorites. We had a great time at Chasing Pirates!! Our favorite spot was on the deck. No matter morning, noon, or night the view was amazing. There was plenty of space for all of us and the short walk to the beach was perfect. It was also much cleaner than most. Thank you and we look forward to many more visits to Chasing Pirates.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  We come to St. George every year and always choose a different rental home each time. Not anymore! Chasing Pirates is a keeper! My family stayed at Chasing Pirates in May 2011 and had a wonderful experience. We spoke with the owners before coming down and were told that the house would be super clean. It was the cleanest rental property I have ever seen. The bedrooms were well appointed and every room had a beautiful gulf view. This house sits back across the street from the beach, but it feels almost beachfront because of the amazing unobstructed views. The view from the open deck on the top floor is spectacular. You can see the dolphins passing and playing as you enjoy the sunshine. Every room is well equipped with technology (TV, DVD, and MP3 Players). The house is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and sooooo clean! The kitchen has a perfect layout and the entire house has a relaxed beachy elegance. The elevator is convenient for luggage and groceries. Even the grill area was well done with chairs and table for keeping the cook company. My brother and his family joined us for the trip and wanted to stay a few days longer after we left. The owners and the rental agency were great to work with and were able to help his family stay and enjoy the house and beach a few extra days. We hope to stay even longer this coming year and intend on making Chasing Pirates a beach tradition!

  We have had a wonderful time at your house these past two weeks. Jerry and I agree it is the most attractively decorated house in the Plantation and we have stayed in at least 10 others. The beds are very comfortable and it is well equipped with a fabulous view - watched dolphins for hours from the deck!

  My family had a wonderful time at SGI this week and enjoyed staying at Chasing Pirates. Everything worked well and the layout was especially nice for our group. My parents (in their late 60's) really liked the elevator to get up to the third level and have decided they need one in their home in Alabama! Thanks very much for sharing your beach home with us. Best, Lisa PS My husband and I were impressed with the hot water output and wondered what you are using? Traditional tanks, tankless, multiple tanks?
