Casa Ceiba is a gated community in La Madera Beach area. It is located two blocks from downtown and la Madera Beach. The development has a very nice Spanish-Mexican style and lush green gardens that make you feel in an exotic tropical jungle which is at the same time peaceful and surrounded by friendly neighbors. The apartment is very nicely and tastefully decorated with handcrafted objects made by local artisans or from other states of Mexico.
The Hummingbird Room has a King Size bed, a big closet, its own bathroom, ceiling fan and AC. The Butterfly Room has a Queen Size bed, a single bed, big closet, its own bathroom, direct access to the balcony which has a view to the garden and the pool; ceiling fan and AC.
The living room has a big built in sofa, TV, DVD and a small stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, fridge, microwave, china, glassware, silverware, cuttery, pots and pans and cooking utensils.
The apartment has linens and towels available. A minimum stay of 3 days required. One week stays, include cleaning once a week.
Small pets are allowed as long as they stay inside the apartment and don't wander around in the premises.

My husband and I stayed at this apartment for one month in Oct/Nov 2012. The apartment building is in a great location, a couple blocks from Madera Beach, close to many restaurants and downtown Zihuatanejo, all very walkable. And a 20 minute walk to La Ropa Beach. The apartment complex and the apartment are well maintained and clean. The building has a great pool area. Yadira, the owner, was extremely helpful to us and gave us a lot of information about the area. We recommend this apartment and we plan to rent it again in the future.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

I stayed in this lovely & cozy apartment with my 7 year old son from June 4-5 & 9-12. We truly enjoyed staying here!! It was very comfortable,very clean,love the cultural decorations,peaceful and within a walking distance to the beach,restaurants & convenient stores.My son loved the place & the pool,he didn't want to leave! I also fell in love with this lovely place, that I'm considering buying an apartment here in a near future.The owner Yadira was extremely nice & very knowledgeable regarding everything you would like to know about this beautiful city,the culture & their surroundings.She truly goes out her way to make sure your stay is an amazing one! She makes you feel at ease,makes you laugh & gives you a warm welcome.I definitely recomend this lovely Apartment to friends,family & everyone that is considering going to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo. About the owner: Yadira Rios is a native of this area. She is a language teacher and takes pride in her Mexican heritage which she loves to share with visitors. She likes to show people around and does her best to make them feel at home and discover the hidden treasures of this lovely area.

Casa Ceiba is a property that combines traditional architecture with first class amenities. It is also located in the quaintest area of Zihuatanejo. This area still looks like the old Zihuatanejo of my childhood. It also has some of my favorite restaurants and it's within walking distance to the beach.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I walk two blocks and I'm in the beach; two blocks and I'm in downtown where the action happens. Still, Casa Ceiba is quiet and tranquil.
