  We booked this place to spend time with family. Our Grandson's 1st bday was at Green Park on the Lake. It was perfect to have our other grandson's - 4&5 - and family with us. Place was clean and close to family and activities. I would recommend to friends and would go again! We went to Green Park again - great place, clean, lifeguards. You have to go to City Hall for a day pass of $5 for 4 people. There is a splash pad at Oxford Township park - $4 for kids (non-resident) adults are free. Great playground and large park. City of Troy pool was high priced but great to spend the day with small children - $11.50 p/person (nonresident) We rented a pontoon boat for 2 days (Marina on the lake $200 pday) and spent the days at the sand bar in the Lake! This place is close to Krogers so you can stock up and cook at "home". Special memories just hanging out at the house, taking day trips, boating and making smores in the fire pit at night. Tips - bring bug spray and water (unless you can drink well water) Pros -Clean -great location -fully usable kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, electric oven Cons - had to retape the window with the air conditioner with duct tape to keep out the bugs - gas grill not cleaned - row boat - we fixed with new hardware to use the oars - need new patio chairs - pic shows 4 but only 3 - one broke and 2 are ready to break

  We had an excellent stay here. Place was very relaxing, exactly what we were looking for. The view of the water was gorgeous. We would definitely stay again.

  We really enjoyed our stay. The place was just as it was advertised on the website. Very clean and relaxing You have everything you need. Just like you were home. Very quiet for those who wants to get away from the city life for awhile. Shopping centers were so close by. I would recommend this to all of my friends and family. The lake was beautiful, especially at night.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

  We rented the property for the Christmas week of 2011. Always a little nervous renting something without seeing it first, but we can give this location a big "THUMBS UP!!". We found the house to be a great location, far enough from the "busy" areas to be very peaceful and quiet, but close enough to be convenient to everything we needed to do. View out the back of the house is AWSOME!! With our 6 kids, the house was a bit tight, but really worked great. All appliances worked, new master bath remodel is very well done. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to go, you will enjoy this location. The owners do a good job of communicating and being helpful without being overbearing. We would highly recommend this home for rental.

  We stayed at the Brock home for our Annual Girls Weekend in August 2010. The location is great, the house was well taken care of. Communication with the owners was excellent. All of the neighbors were friendly as well.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
