This contemporary open floor plan home is a short walk (under 10 minutes) to Tigertail Beach! Located on a very quiet cul-de-sac, walking to the beach or playground is a snap! Not a typical rental unit, our home features hardwood floors and a modern great room layout. The home includes soaring ceilings and an electric-heated pool and spa with beautiful channel views. The spa, pool, dock and patio are sun-drenched throughout the day and great sunsets with the Western exposure.
All bedrooms have vaulted ceilings. The master bedroom suite features a king-sized bed and large private, granite bathroom. A flat panel TV with DVD player also graces the master. The second bedroom provides a queen-sized bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. A second full bathroom is found between the secondary bedrooms. A third, half-bath is located just off the great room. Sliding glass doors in the master suite second bedroom open to the heated pool and spa for private late night dips. Large custom tiled shower and dual sinks in the master provide a luxurious space. The Queen bedroom also features sliding glass doors with water views.
The airy vaulted ceiling in the great room makes for a wonderful open feeling. Our great room includes a 42-inch LCD HD TV with DVD player and surround sound. There is a reading nook in the far corner of the great room for some private time. Sunsets viewed over the pool and waterway are NOT to be missed. Enjoy high speed wireless internet throughout the house, or simply head off to the master suite and get a little computer time in at the desk overlooking the water. An ink jet printer is also available for use. The kitchen boasts granite countertops and stainless appliances. A newly refurbished private dock with boat lift awaits outside for fishing in the canal.
The two car garage is for your exclusive use; in it you will find bicycles, our collection of pool toys, fishing poles, and the laundry machines. Also stored here is our pool safety fence that can be used to block off the lanai from the pool area should you have little ones.

We had the opportunity to stay in this house for one month in 2010. The owners are the nicest people to work with and very easy to get ahold of. The house is located in a very private area so it is nice and quite. We did buy a residents beach pass , as you need to drive to the beach, but that worked out very well.. The house had all the things you need for a nice long stay. The house is very modern and well laid out. We will be staying there again.Recommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: Tigertail Beach is only .3 of a mile away, a ten minute walk and wonderful for children. You need to drive to get to Residents' Beach, which is what our renter refers to.

We had a great stay at the house, and tried to extend butit was rented. The house was perfect no surprises.The owners were always available for anything that was needed. We liked it so much that we wanted to return for the 2012 season, but could not because of scheduling conflicts. We will try again for 2013. I would recommend this rental very highly.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
It's very accessible from O'Hare Airport. We also chose Marco Island due to it's far south location and therefore higher winter temps.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Tigertail Beach is an 8 minute walk. Our children love the playground and cafe, too. We have a safety fence that can be used around our pool. Not many homes boast this. Our home is a sleek modern design with all new furniture.
