Sting Rae's Lodge
Located 100 yards north of the Gulf of Mexico on FM 457 at the Intracoastal Waterway swing bridge, Sargent, TX. Adjacent to the famous Sting Rae's Waterfront Bar & Grill with inside and outside dining. Sting Rae's will also provide room service during restaurant hours. Tastefully decorated with clean, comfy furniture, dish satellite TV, DVD player and free wi-fi. All linens and dishes provided. Bait stand, boat ramp, restaurant and covered parking on property. Fishing and bird watching are just a short walk or drive across the historic last swing bridge in Texas. Sargent Beach is a natural beach and is great for surf fishing, beach combing, kite surfing along with many other outdoor activities, and accessible by car.

We rented both sides of the lodge and it was super. The washer and dryer made things great and the kitchen......awesome. Huge fridge, huge bar. Plenty of bed and plenty of air. Right next door to a super restaurant too. The view is cool, watching the barges so close. We will make more trips there for sure.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
