The 3rd floor is an open air terrace with Palapa roof that boasts a panoramic view of Chacala Bay, surrounding tropical forest and beyond.

Eclipse (3 bed/2 bath unit) $125/night (1-2 people) | $145/night (3-4 people) | $165/night (5-6 people) Upon confirmation a deposit of 50% of total must be received within 5 days of booking. For stays of 3 days or less, full payment is required. 30 days prior to arrival, the balance is due. Payment can be made thru PayPal or with a cash deposit or wire transfer to our US bank account. Cancellation policy: If canceled 30 days or more prior to arrival, we will refund total minus a $35 fee. W/n 30 days, we can only refund if we rent those days.

About the owner: It was our dream to move our family to Chacala for a time. We designed and built Casa Monarca as a labor of love. We lived onsite with our young daughters for 2.5 years and now rent out our beautiful home for others to enjoy as well.
Why the Owner Chose Chacala:
We were drawn to Chacala because it is an authentic and friendly Mexican village with a strong identity, history and sense of community. The coast of Nayarit is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled in all of Mexico. The climate is also wonderful almost all year round. Chacala's proximity to the Puerto Vallarta airport is ideal, only 60 miles away.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love our place because it is close to everything in Chacala, yet private. There is undeveloped property on either side and behind us, providing the backyard pool and patio with privacy. And, we are in town, not way up on a hill or inside the gated community so we can walk to everything and feel a part of the community. Last but not least, there is a gorgeous view of the ocean from the master bedroom!
