Reviews on the 'Marina District' from San Francisco Gate Newspaper: 'Sunny weekend days are truly dreamy in the Marina, especially down by the water. As far as Chestnut and Union are concerned, just follow this motto: Any day is a good day for shopping; any night, a good night for dining. Overall, this is the land of SUVs, chic fashion and killer spa treatments. Love it, or leave it to the pretty young things who call it home or home-away-from-home.'
Reviews : 'We love walking around Chestnut Street — it's a FUN place to hang out, eat, shop, and people-watch. The area is dotted with great restaurants, hot bars, cozy neighborhood cafés, coffee houses, trendy boutiques, book stores, and specialty shops. It's one of the hottest places in San Francisco, especially at night — the restaurants and bars are buzzing. It's also a very great area for weekend brunch — popular with locals and tourists alike.'
This is a great home for families, friends or small groups looking to see the best of San Francisco. The street is very kid-friendly as it is one of the few streets that does not go through to the major cross streets and is thus quiet. We kindly request only respectful parties. This would not be a good home for any kind of parties or events.
Very occasionally we will consider pets. Typically only for longer stays, or for shorter stay a considerable additional fee will apply to have rugs/furniture, etc cleaned for future guests. ...moreless

About the owner: My husband and I purchased this home 10 years ago, and lived there with our children. We have since moved to Napa, but expect we will move back into this home, or live there part time moving ahead. It is such a magical location, we just couldn't sell it! There are almost no nice hotels in this wonderful neighborhood, and it is in the middle of the very best attractions and everyday living San Francisco has to offer. We expect others would enjoy this home as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Marina: Location, location, location. There is absolutely no location better for enjoying all that San Francisco has to offer!
