It has such great rustic charm. We are very impressed with all of the details. This cabin has provided our family with all the comforts of home, which has made our stay so relaxing! This cabin is perfect for a quick romantic getaway. It is beautifully furnished, the beds are fantastic and the kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you will need (spices, condiments, etc are absent but that is to be expected). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cabin to anyone. Even better than the pictures show. David, the owner is also great to deal with and is very accomodating. 5 stars!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

Before talking about how breathtaking the cabin is I need to say that the David is so great to work it!! We book a year ago & because of a death in the family we couldn't go on the dates we picked. So he worked with us and finally a year later we made it!! When I walked in the cabin I felt like I just walked in to Williams Sanoma & Pottery Barn. It's a womens dream kitchen from the stove/oven to the W.S copper pots I was in heaven & chandeliers. If you want the best cabin experience this is it!Did you find this review helpful? This place is a treasure. The first thing that came to mind after walking thru the door was "Cabin Couture". So tastefully appointed down to every detail while maintaining the simplicity and comfort a cabin should posses not to mention unencumbered of moose/bear theme pillows and stuffed animals. My husband and I stayed at this cabin with 2 friends for New Years Eve (2011). Not only was the cabin absolutely beautiful (the design, decor, appliances, etc) it was well maintained and in an excellent location, so close to skiing. The kitchen is state of the art and a joy to use. We went night skiing at Ski Bowl and had a great day of snow at Meadows the following day. This place is the perfect luxurious getaway cabin! The decor is country french and done so well. The furniture and beds are comfortable with nice bedding. The kitchen is a cook's delight. Everything is well maintained. There were a few problems when we got here like the housekeeper hadn't been here and after they did come, they accidentally took away some food we brought up. Why the Owner Chose Mount Hood:
Family, friends, skiing; being closer to all the things we love. After buying & extensively remodeling this enchanted log cabin to the beauty it is today, we found that we were only able to use it a few days a month. Now we get to share it with others who appreciate being in an old growth forest with the finer comforts in life.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
It is one of my favorite spots on the planet. We love getting away for a couple nights where time seems to stand still. A great place to reflect, relax, to stop and enjoy a book, gaze into the fire and eat amazing food. We are ski addicts so we have more than a few excuses to get away.
