Quiet, second floor condo has everything to offer the Sanibel vacationer. After a day on the beach, come home to a newly renovated two bedroom, two full bath condo with all you need in the kitchen to prepare a nice dinner. Afterwards, enjoy the 36 inch flat screen TV complete with cable and DVD player. A CD player if available if you like to listen to music. Turn in for the night in one of two comfortable bedrooms. There is a king sized bed in the master bedroom, and two twins in the second room. Plenty of closet space. The two full baths are newly tiled, the master has a large walk-in shower. Linens provided.

We stayed at this condo for 4 nights last month and it was a great experience. We really liked the location on Sanibel Island - very quiet and relaxed - but close to restaurants, beaches and nature preserve. We loved siting on the outside screened porch listening to the ospreys on thier nest during the day and the Night Hawks calling at night. The kitchen is a little dated, but impeciably clean and served all of our needs. Having the wheeled beach carrier and all the chairs, toys and floats was a real plus since we were traveling with our 2 year old. We also made use of the pool - which was also very clean and not too crowded or noisy - each day of our trip. I would highly recommend this condo to any couple or young family. The owner was also a complete pleasure to deal with - very responsive - and you can't beat the rates! We would definately stay here again if traveling to Sanibel.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a wonderful stay Spring Break this year. Loved the layout of the condo and accessibility we had to the beach, pool, trails of Sanibel, and laundry on site. We were super comfortable there with our 4 year old and 1 year old in tow. I recommend the unit highly. We plan to go back in the future!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

My wife and I recently spent 4 weeks there and had a wonderful time. The condo is centrally located on the island and is quite close to the library, movie theater, supermarket, etc. It was also close to a private access to the beach and a great new frozen yogurt place called ZEBRA’S. Be aware: their frozen yogurt can become addictive! The 2 BR unit was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The kitchen was small but well-equipped including a garbage disposal which we do not have at home. The local condo managers and the owner were helpful and prompt in dealing with any issue I brought to their attention. First, we found the condo to be as pictured and advertised. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean and newly re-tiled (I would judge). The kitchen is small, but size did not pose a problem. The Seashells complex is quiet and very well managed, the manager very helpful. Location is perfect: close to the beach and an easy bike ride from Bailey's grocery store and some restaurants. The owner, Joanne, was easy to work with, prompt in her replies and response to the minor problems that came up. Altogether, a very good experience. We would certainly return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

We have just stayed here over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The pics do not do this lovely condo justice, it is really prettily decorated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of beach towels and other beach equipment included a cart. The walk to the beach is not an issue as it is so pretty. The pool is great too. All in all I would not hesitate to rent here again. The Seashells is very friendly too.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This unit was extremely clean. The kitchen was well stocked full of everything that we needed to prepare our meals. Our family had a wonderful time! This was one of the best experiences I have had with a rental. Very clean, comfortable and just plain fabulous! Everything you could need is provided for an enjoyable stay. My family of 4 just returned from a week long stay from 3/31 to 4/7 in Unit 43. This is a great condo - what a find! The decor is even nicer than pictured. Bathrooms have been updated with new tile in showers and high end pedestal sinks. Towels, bed linens and beach towels were brand new. The kitchen is tiny, original (probably 1970's) but was very clean and stocked with everything you will need: new coffee maker, blender, top-end pots and pans, kitchen towels, pretty dishes, etc. Owner was great to work with. It is a short 5-10 min walk to the beach, 5 if you walk regular speed and 10 if you saunter in flip flops hauling beach gear. Everything you need for a day at the beach is provided: beach cart, brand new beach towels, beach chairs, cooler on wheels, beach umbrella, sand toys, rafts, etc. You'll just need to bring a bathing suit and sunscreen. We enjoyed staying near the tennis courts. Balls and tennis racquets are provided in the lounge next to the office. We saw the resident alligator walking off the parking lot, and liked watching the baby ospreys eat each morning. The condo also has board games, magazines, and 3 tvs (2 with cable hook-up). The Stone Crab restaurant is just down the street and had great food and nice cold drinks. If you don't bring your own bikes, be sure to rent them from Billy's bikes - only $40 per week, free helmets and lock, plus they'll deliver right to the condo. We plan to return again next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
