We are a family of four with a young son and daughter. We live about 30 mins south of Carlsbad. We enjoy short stays there when the property is available.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Village
We purchased this home in Carlsbad Village as it is one of the most family friendly beach communities in all of San Diego. We have two small children and that was very important to us. We also like too stay in nice places so we remodeled the house completely to satisfy our taste. We hope you enjoy.
The Unique Benefits of this Bungalow
There are many things to do here but the nicest thing is to be able to park your car and wallk to everything. When we stay, we rarely use our car. Ours kids favorite eats are Knock Out Pizza and Cold Stone Ice Cream.

We rented this bungalow for 8 nights in May of 2011. My son was returning from Afghanistan and we wanted to give him a more comfortable location to stay in then a hotel room. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to rent this home. We drove to Sea World and Belmont Park, walked to the beach and to the Farmers Market (and ate the best strawberries ever). We had some delicious sandwiches at the Grand Deli, did some window shopping in town and had some sweet and warm fresh donuts from Super Donuts. We BBQ many times at the house and I baked home made chocolate chip cookies (my sons favorite) in the very nicely stocked kitchen (I had to buy a cookie sheet, but no problem and I left it for furture renters) But by far the best place to be was in the back yard sipping coffee in the morning and smelling all the fresh flowers. The pool was so refreshing we all enjoyed our time in it. We highly reccommend this rental to anybody that will be staying in the San Diego area.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.
