Always look forward to returning ! Love the condo, comfortable convienent, clean and loaded with extra linens -basic needs that welcome a tired visitor. Close to everythng in the French Quarter. Close enough to Maringy (Frenchman Street) - Natchez - Shops - Street Entertainers! Everything I love. The condo is squeeky clean! plenty of necessities available, even things I wouldn't normally expect. The location is quiet, pleasant, and in the middle of everything or close enough to it! Linda is always most accomodating.....we have been going back for so many years, I really don't know how many years its been. I have been going to the Quarter for 25 or 30 years, and I have found a 'home' - its always ready when I get there.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing.

We stayed in the condo on our first trip to New Orleans. The location is great and we could walk just about anywhere in the French Quarter. We also used the trolley system to get to the WWII museum and see other parts of the city. We parked our car in a public lot upon arrival and didn't move it until it was time to leave. The condo is well appointed and nicely furnished. It was quiet and comfortable and we enjoyed sitting by the courtyard pool and enjoying the warm weather. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend and would stay here again, without question !Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you so much for the nice writeup. I hope you will return soon.

Another wonderful stay at this gem of a French Quarter condo. Tucked away and calm, but still, in the midst of the magic that New Orleans has to offer. New Orleans is a generous city, always giving up it's gifts and it's splendor to anyone who is receptive. The music is part of her charms, everywhere, always. This city gets under your skin. I feel privileged that it has touched me. And it leaves you lingering for more. And also leaves you full, and richer for the journey. I love this neighborhood, and the pristine cleanliness and thoughtfulness that goes into this condo. The owner is wonderful, professional and full of charm and warmth, just like her hometown! I will return!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Elizabeth has stayed at my condo several times. Its so pleasing that she has discovered the flavor of New Orleans....the music, the food, the smells and the warmth of the people of New Orleans. I hope she will return soon.

Gary from Urbana, Oho-- We squeezed in a quick visit to our favorite city, New Orleans, right after Christmas. Cleanliness of the condo was truly white glove. Owner went out of her way to suggest places for us to visit and eat and she was SPOT ON on every recommendation. A fruit basket greeted us on our late night arrival and it was very clear who to contact if there was a concern. Being a landlord myself I know it can be annoying when tenant contacts you, but she and her brother were both super friendly and helpful. Security was TOP NOTCH there-- let's face it, New Orleans is a party city and it is really great to be able to go "home" and know you are 100% safe or if you want a quiet time, it will be there. Besides a security coded huge gate, the building had a massive fence around the premises laden with "sharp surprises at the top - believe me, Nobody is gonna try to jump up and over the gate or fence. Condo had several friendly notes to remind us about things, and they even decorated it for the holidays. BUT, besides the quality accommodations, the LOCATION was incredible. Twice I wanted to get a coffee or sit down, and then realized that we were seconds from the condo-- so we could go there. Condo was thoughtfully appointed, comfortable bed and living room, and had plenty of towels, bedding, and even coffee for me to brew!! It was no surprise that it was cold in New Orleans during our visit, but the warmth of the condo owner made it all cozy. Thank you and, also, thank you VRBO!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you so much for the very nice Review and for taking notice to the little special things I do to make your stay more pleasant. I hope you'll find a few more days to come again soon.

My husband and 2 grown kids traveled to NOLA for our Daughters 21st birthday - it was the first time for her and my son. They loved it! And we all really enjoyed our very nice accommodations. We walked everywhere because everything was so close! The beds and pillows were super comfortable - everything was so clean and nice. Linda was a terrific host who had so much information in her e-mails and at the condo of points of interests and great suggestions for places to go. We can't wait to go back and would definitely rent this condo again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have always been very fortunate using VRBO, but this place is the best I've rented. Up to date kitchen, comfortable furnishings, clean, light and bright bathrooms. Beds were super comfortable. Plenty of towels and onsite laundry. I visited with my 77 year old mother, so location, safety and good air conditioning was important. This place worked so well, I could not have asked for anything else. Location is in the residential, or quiet side of the French Quarter so you can still walk everywhere but not have to hear the noise of revelry at night. The owner Linda sent us a great email highlighting places to eat and buy small groceries. Each of her suggestions either made life easier (Verti Mart) or served amazing food. Some like Coops we probably wouldn't have tried if not suggested. Linda was very attentive calling twice during our 10 day stay to make sure everything was up to par or if we had any questions. I've already told friends and if ever they visit New Orleans they will contact Linda. This place is the best location and accomodations for an amazing small price tag. Our visit went so well because of this fabulous "home base". Thanks Linda.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Gracious, personable, professional hosts. The home is tranquil, serene, and full of the character of old New Orleans. Very clean, convenient and cozy. I feel fortunate to have stayed here and booked it again for my next trip to New Orleans the moment I arrived this time. New Orleans is one of the greatest, most interesting cities in America and this home made the experience all the more joyful! All the amenities one could need are here. The hosts have thought of everything and keep it spotlessly clean and fresh! The unit overlooks a charming courtyard and whole complex is so well kept. Wonderful location to get to all the great music and everything else that is New Orleans.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for the lovely review of my condo, the area and my home town. And thank you for taking notice to the cleanliness and neatness of the accommodations. I try very hard to maintain it the way I would want to walk into a vacation home. New Orleans awaits your return with open arms.

We loved this condo. The condo is comfortable and clean and felt like home away from home. It also has a distictly New Orleans feel to it. Good job on the decor, Linda. Two blocks from Irene's (our favorite restaurant) you can't beat the location! We enjoyed touring the Beauregard Keyes home next door, where I purchased the book Dinner at Antoin's. I also loved the food at the little market around the block. The cafe around the corner. Linda had great suggestions provided in the condo. We enjoyed so many things, but didn't cover it all and can't wait to come back. Even if it is to just relax in this condo :) Thank you Linda!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

What a perfect stay in New Orleans and what a fabulous home base! My two sisters and our cousin (50's and 60's) spent 7 days, 6 nights in this lovely and well maintained French Quarter condo. Linda is wonderful, quick to answer questions, a great help with ideas on where to go, and lots of great tips. Located in a lovely and quiet part of the Quarter but an easy, safe walk to the activity of the Quarter or to Frenchman Street. After a wonderful nights sleep in comfy beds, having some coffee and a quick breakfast we'd be off exploring; Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras World, Katrina Museum, St Louis Cathedral, on a tour to see the Oak Alley and Laura Plantations, shopping at the French Market and on Royal Street, and spending a full afternoon at the fabulous WWII Museum. And then there's the food; The Palm Court Jazz Cafe, Snug Harbor, Port of Call, Mona Lisa, The Old Coffeepot, Emeri's NOLA Restaurant, and just fabulous music at Preservation Hall (spring for the VIP tickets!!), the Funky Pirate on Bourbon Street and The Spotted Cat on Frenchman Street. A trip to New Orleans would not be complete without Cafe du Monde and beignets and sharing a muffuletta at the Central Grocery, amazing!! It was pretty cold when we were there so the city tour, carriage ride and river boat cruise were necessary but followed up by some hot coffee and cocoa. We can certainly confirm the heating works very well! Linda has thought of everything and the condo is very well equipped, extremely clean, and so very comfortable. We were really sad to see our trip end. We wish we could have met Linda and her husband, sorry we missed them when they were in town! We'd love to come back!!! Thanks so very much for your hospitality! Becky, sisters and cousin~Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
Owner response: What a nice write-up! So glad you enjoyed the city in spite of some of the bad press releases. You are right...N.O. is a great city to visit and the food is wonderful. But it pleases me that you found the condo comfortable and met your expectations. I try to keep the condo the way I would expect. I hope you ladies do come back; New Orleans will greet you with open arms. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I had a terrific stay in the french quarter in November 2011. The best thing about the property is its location on a quiet street near the action but nice and quiet throughout the night. The property itself was in great condition and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom water pressure was fabulous. We also sat outside and enjoyed the patio area as well. Linda called the first night to make sure that we had arrived safely, which was appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked. Linda also provided a great deal of information about the city, including self walking guides. We spent some time out of the city on a swamp tour. We also enjoyed the NO cooking school. The best meal we had was at Commander's Palace, about 20 minutes away. One note, there is no designated parking. For two nights we parked in the french market lot, which is $20/night. Our last night, we were able to find street parking close by. I would advise others to avoid getting a car since there is so much to do in the french quarter and surrounding areas without needing a vehicle. Thanks for a great stay! We can't wait to get back to enjoy the beauty of New Orleans.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Nice people. They are about the 3rd or 4th guest to recommend the cooking school. And, of course, I agree about Commander's Palace. I just recommend lunch or brunch opposed to dinner--much more reasonable with the same faire and service. Thank you so much.
