  Our family shared this rental with friends of ours, this is one of several rentals we have shared in the past few years. Upon arrival we were very pleased with the amenities, it accommodated both of our families perfectly. I would be writing a positive review and renting again except for one glaring issue with the treatment we received from the owners of the property. Well over a month after our departure we received an email from the owners letting us now that we were being charged a significant additional cleaning fee - this was quite a surprise to us not only due to the amount of time that had passed since our stay but also due to the fact we had left the property as we found it having cleaned the house regularly during our stay. We have rented many properties and have never had this sort of issue. Upon receiving the email informing us that they had already charged our credit card the fee we replied for additional information for details regarding what needed to be done. Unfortunately the owners took our money without any consideration for our questions and never responded. Unethical practices in my book, would never recommend doing business with these people to anyone.

  Owner response: Hidden Charges?? Our only regret is that we only charged $202.50 in the extra 4.5 hours of cleaning required after these "guests" left our home an absolute mess. Quote from our cleaner, "The last bunch didn't leave any food, except all over the floor and furniture, several glasses missing and some towels, I will need additional help for turnover" Our lease state that we expect the house to be left in condition found at check-in, our cleaners provide new linens, and housekeeping of baths and floors and we provide 4hours of cleaning time per turnover, it took them 8.5 hours for these folks. They checked out on Feb 23, we notified them March 6th after receiving our cleaners invoice of the extra charges, not one month as stated. We gave them a detailed report from our cleaner and manager as to why the charges and they accepted that they were valid. We did not charge them for towels or glasses as we usually replace at end of season anyway. So it was a great surprise to us that they decided to trash our VRBO rating the same way they trashed the house with false "hidden charges" accusations and information. We only wish that VRBO had a warning area from owners to stay away from certain individuals like these that ruin our desire to offer vacation home rentals. Thank goodness that 99% of our renters are great people that appreciate and take care of our home as if it was theirs. Response by Kevin Miller & Vikkey Gates.

  My family and friends had the pleasure staying here over the New Years holiday and loved every minute of it. This home is very warm, cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed watching hot air balloons coming up over the mountains in the mornings. We had a total of 8 in our party and this house provided more than enough room for all of us. The toddlers enjoyed sledding down the driveway, we tried the backyard but there was so much snow they just sunk in it. We used the kitchen daily for breakfast and dinner. I was so thankful for the washer and dryer it made our trip home so much easier having all our laundry clean. The hot tub was a huge plus after a day on the mountains it felt so good to sit and relax. I can't say enough nice things about this home and how clean it was. Greta and Rick were so nice to talk to and gave us directions several times to places nearby. We were only a 5 min drive to the base of the mountain and about 10 min drive to Howelson Ski Area. This was our first trip to Steamboat Springs, Co and were looking forward to many more. Again our family was very pleased with this beautiful home and amazing views. Thank you Kevin and David for allowing us too use your vacation home for our family we appreciated it so much.

  We had a terrific stay at this well stocked, lovely home. We enjoyed the hot tub and views every night. We so appreciate your letting our dog join in our fun. All was as it stated. We may be back one day!! Also, we recommend the 2 hour horse ride out at the Elk River Guest Ranch.

  Our stay at the Fuller / Daze home was the best. We really liked it very much and would/will definately stay there again if we ever have a chance to go to Steamboat again. I was pleasently surprised at how all the minor details were in place and ready to take advantage of. Little things like baggies, so we could pack lunch for our day of skiing. Even though we brought our own supplies, the fridg was full of condiments like mustard and relish, salad dressings and butter: there was sugar, flour, spices, olive oil, plenty of dish soap, trash bags, seran wrap, etc. I have never seen a place so well stocked. Usually cleaning crews clear all that stuff out. The hot tub was great and the sauna even better. Unfortuately my wife had a little trouble getting out of the drive (it is uphill a little). I didn't, but she doesn't know how to drive in the snow :), and we had lots while there. Highly recommend this property for any occation.

  We had an amazing time at this full functioning home. It was warm, up to date, and super close to all that we adore about Steamboat. Homeowners are on the ball and totally available at any given time. We had ample room to move around, used the hot tub after skiing, or the sauna, then dinner around the large table, and warmed by the fireplace, all before retreating to each of our own rooms (3 to choose from). I must also mention the beautiful views of what I like to call "my mountain". There was a view from every window. Thank you so very much for everything!

  Beautiful home, wonderfully kept and well stocked. It's a perfect Colorado retreat for a family or couples getaway. Gorgeous views, quiet neighborhood and close to everything. You can't go wrong with Fuller-Daze for your next vacation. Our family will be returning for many years to come!

  One of the easiest reviews to write. Great Home, Great layout, Great location, and most of all Great people to work with. This home is truly a wonderful vacation home. It's stocked with everything you need, location is excellent, great views all over, and a very nice neighborhood. Highly recommend!

  The Miller/Gate (Fuller Daze) home was the perfect accommodation for our family during our recent Steamboat summer vacation. The spacious and comfortable home was well equipped with all the amenities to meet the needs of our family. We really enjoyed the hot tub and gorgeous view from the deck. The humming birds even kept us company at breakfast & dinner time. The location was convenient with just a short drive to downtown Steamboat and it's many attractions, including restaurants, shopping, tubing, the alpine slide, rodeo, hiking and hot springs (just to name a few). It's going to be hard to top this Steamboat vacation!!!

  We recently stayed for a week during the summer months and had a great time! The house was close to everything we wanted to do- the ski lodge, lots of hiking, tubing down the Yampa, downtown restaurants and bars, etc. We enjoyed the amazing view from the deck and hot tub, and the clean and inviting atmosphere.   We drove to Steamboat with our poodle Coqui and had a wonderful three week stay at "Fuller Daze". The house is ideally located for visiting everything in and around Steamboat. We had a couple of our daughters and their children visit and the house was very comfortable for our group. Everyone had a bed. We would heartily recommend this well equipped home for anyone heading to Steamboat. The view of the valley is splended from the back deck. George and Frances Brown
