  This was a 10th year anniversary trip and we wanted something special, which is exactly what we got. We spent the first 4 days of our trip at Casa Primera--one of Tom and Maria's beautiful villas. It was more than we could have imagined. The setting was beautiful and the villa was perfect--spotless and provided a very comfortable place to return to each evening. And the views from this proerty are incredible!! Lake and jungle views in one place; beautiful landscaping! I could go on and on. The location was perfect for us. A great restaurant almost at the bottom of the driveway and only about an hour to the volcano and all the activities we wanted to experience in the Arenal area. Tom and Maria were exceptional hosts--very helpful. Will book any tours you need and provide you with all the information needed to make your trip a very memorable one. We are already planning a return trip to Costa Rica and hope to be able to make Arenal Springs Villas by the Lake part of that trip! Thank you Tom and Maria--even though we had rain during our stay it did not dampen our spirits or ruin our wonderful vacation!!

  I'm not a complete world traveler, but I have taken many trip to other places in the States and some other Countries. The Views I have seen here in Costa Rica while staying at Arenal Springs Villas by the Lake are breathtaking. This was money and time so well spent. We are a family of 5 and rented Casa Primera. It had a fantastic view from the front porch and kitchen and living room. A panoramic scene of Lake Arenal and the Rain Forest. Nice and close to the pool for the kids. Tom and Maria are such great hosts and through countless emails, we managed to pre-plan all our stay and did not waste time trying to figure out what to do and where to go. The villa was spotless and the domestic help was friendly and helpful. This private estate is huge and Tom even helped us to make calls to the U.S. For free. Tom had a map and Maria had suggestions that were spot on in helping us to have the time of our lives. I would highly recommend this place to anyone reading this and we will be talking to all our friends and family and trying to convince them to go and visit Arenal and stay at Arenal Springs Villas by the lake. Thank you Tom and Maria

  After other arrangements fell through, I made some frantic calls and ran across this place. Although it was closed for repainting, I was able to tour Casa Primera and the surrounding casitas and grounds. The place is beautiful and the views are stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained. If you are looking for exceptional accomodations in the Arenal area, I would not hesitate to call Tom and his wife. When Tom's home was not available, he went out of his way to find us stranded travellers places to stay in the area.
