Living room from hall entrance - Amelia Island, FL - Florida Condominium Rental - Beach Village! We think you will love our Non-Smoking condo as much as we do and will want to come back every year. We have decorated and maintained it as our second home, so lots of personal touches and upgrades are everywhere. This is not your typical rental condo with a bare minimum of furnishings. We actually plan on living here someday so we have spent time and money on making things nice. We think you will enjoy all the homey touches and you won’t have to pay more, just enjoy more. Every year you come back you’ll probably find something new or better. The Great Room is decorated in a nautical theme with original artwork and lots of yellow and blue. The floor is ceramic tile except for the downstairs bedroom which along with the rest of the condo is nearly new carpet. Each of the two upstairs bedrooms are spacious with their own private baths. The Master has a king-size bed and TV/VCR. The upstairs guest room has two twin beds and a full-size bath tub/shower. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and the bathroom for downstairs is a full-size bath with tub. You are only steps from the beach, the condo is actually pool-side so you walk around a building between us and the beach but you and your kids don’t cross any roads, just some grass and the board walk to the beach. And what a beach! In our opinion it is the best beach in the world, lots of sand and shells, miles long with great tide pools at low tide but still lots of sand even at the highest tides. You can swim, surf, use skim boards, sun, and even ride horses on the beach. On the way to or from the beach you walk almost by the pool. A short detour on the way back lets you cool off a little bit since the pool is partially shaded except around noon by all the beautiful live-oak trees surrounding the property. Only steps away are the free tennis courts. Just off the property there is everything else you would want to do, restaurants, shopping, museums, golf, boating, everything but traffic. We spent 20 years trying all the other places like Destin, Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, and more and can tell you that overall Amelia Island and Summer Beach can’t be beat!
