  Our first reaction when walking through the front doors - WOW! The home with beautiful backyard was perfect for our family of 7. Saturday we celebrated our son's graduation from NAU with a cookout and we couldn't have ask for a better setting. Lots of room to explore, play billiards, board games or just sit and visit. In the morning and evening, when the golf flags are removed, we would walk the path around the course. Everyone gave this home a thumbs up........and would love to make a return visit.

• Amazing Flagstaff weekend

  We just spent the weekend at this amazing home on the golf course. We live in Scottsdale and take our kids to Flagstaff over the winter every year to sled and play in the snow. In the past we have always stayed in hotels, but going forward we will ALWAYS stay in this amazing home! Our kids loved the pool table, games, hot tub and sledding right in the back yard. We even cooked S'mores on the firepit outside. The home has every amenity you could wish for and was immaculately clean. This was truly our most memorable Flagstaff vacation and we hope to make it an annual trip. We highly recommend this home and wonderful owner.

  The house is well-appointed, clean, and exactly as stated in the listing. The rental agent, Jennifer, was attentive and made sure that we were able to move in without problems. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace in the living room. The outside firepit was easy to start. The kitchen included all necessary implements. Bedrooms were comfortable. Bathrooms were large; the master bathroom had a vast shower stall with multiple shower outlets that provided a terrific shower experience. We also enjoyed the game room with the pool table. The house is convenient to downtown Flagstaff and would be a great base from which to visit the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed our stay and would do it again.

  Beautifully decorated - elegant with a hint of rustic & all the comforts of home. Exactly as represented with both description and pictures on the VRBO web site. We stayed here the end of August but I could see coming back for a cozy winter stay as well. Both the home and property are impeccably maintained, and communication with the owner regarding the rental were timely, efficient, and friendly. The rental agent Jennifer stopped by to say hi on the first day and familiarize us with a few things. She was very friendly & attentive as well. While this home is in a neighborhood and situated on a golf course it seemed very quiet and private. There was plenty of room for our group (4 couples) to be comfortable. The layout was perfect. The master suite is on one side of the house, very private and spacious. The bathroom is beautiful with shower doors that are etched with pine trees, beautiful granite, a separate spa tub and dual vanities. On the other side of the house there are 2 bedrooms each with Queen size beds that share a bathroom (Jack & Jill) and both are nicely decorated and spacious enough. The study has a futon and the couple that stayed there found it very comfortable and private as it has a door. The room with the pool table has a cozy stone fireplace, flat screen TV and 2 game tables that our group took full advantage of. The spacious gourmet kitchen features a large stone island with beautiful granite, wide plank wood floors, high end stainless steel appliances, easily accommodates several people working at once & well equipped for our cooking needs. We did find that there were not enough dishes for our group and ended up having to run out for disposable dishes. Also, it would have been great if there were bar stools around the kitchen Island for much needed additional seating at meal times. Out back there was plenty of comfortable seating for dining al fresco and entertaining. The Jacuzzi was a great place to relax and unwind and the fire pit was a wonderful gathering spot for cocktails & conversation at the end of the evening. The one thing I will warn you about is the driveway. We bottomed out right at the entrance from the street to the driveway...ouch! Do it once and you won't try again. Parking on the street was not a problem. Our stay was relaxing and luxurious - we couldn't have wished for more. Thank you Shawn for your hospitality and the use of your beautiful home! Julie
