Our vision for the Annapolis Royal Folly was to create an inn with exceptional beauty, providing a full range of amenities, with large bright rooms.
We are located in the heart of the Historic District of Annapolis, directly across from the lovely St. John's College.
The 14-room Royal Folly was constructed in 1870 by the renowned Randall family. Recent major renovations and modernizing are now completed, including security, fire alarm and sprinkler system, along with numerous internal and external changes, while preserving the grandeur of the original structure. Modifications have been accomplished to complete the process of creating a very comfortable living environment with modern amenities and old-world charm.
The inn features five large guestrooms including a three-room suite. There are nine fireplaces, a rear patio with shade garden, a deck with hot tub, heated towel racks, DVD and book library, front parlor, formal dining room, computer room for off-site business (high speed Wireless Internet and faxes available at no charge), and all suites have private bath (some with Jacuzzi) and cable television.
ALL SUITES ARE VERY PRIVATE (NO CONNECTING WALLS).

Why the Owner Chose Annapolis:
Annapolis is a town with an extensive history and diverse activities, including all water sports (some say it is the sailing capital of America), great shopping, live entertainment and plays, and is the quintessential walking town. We are in the middle of the historic district yet in a quiet area near the Governor's mansion.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Rooms are very well appointed, and very secluded from one another so there is a feeling of comfort and privacy. It is also a great home to have a private or catered gathering. Directly across from St. John's College it is within easy walking distance to all attractions.
