  Spring Break at the Beach! We rented at Diamond Beach so if the weather didnt work out, our son had lots of indoor options. Go figure, the weather wasn't great outside. So the DB indoor pool , game room and the movie theater was a major savior. (Hint book the theater early, "The Hobbit" looked great on the big screen and awesome surround sound). I think this was our sons favorite vaction. His favorite thing was the Flat panel tv with DVD player in the Kids room. Kids stuff aside: this unit was very clean, what you see in the photos is exactly what you get. Dont forget to grab a beverage and head out on the balcony. It has great sunrise, seawall & pool views. Kitchen has everything you need. Nice stove and cook top! Our favorites: The Ferry Ride to Bolivar Island (FREE), Ocean Star Offshore Drilling, Elissa (tall ship), The Aquarium at Moody Gardens, walking the beach, body boarding and sand castles whenever we could. Food: You can go catch your own (pier 61 or fishing pier) on or go to a fish monger on the island. Good Eats: Best Breakfast Lunch Mosquito cafe, best meal was at the $$$$ Rudy and Paco's, Ice Cream LA Kings, Bakery Patty Cakes, Seafood Black Pearl. Close to Condo Jimmys on the Fishing Pier (across the street from Mini Golf to boot) After you take the Ferry across to Bolivar make the trek down to the Stingaree and watch the boats in the bay while having lunch (ask for the oysters on the half shell not on menu but soo good) . Yes I would recommend this unit to anyone. 5 stars if your are going early or later season.

  What a great place for a family getaway. Tastefully decorated condo on the 6th floor with a fabulous view. We had 6 adults with 1 toddler and 1 infant. Plenty of room to visit and cook while the kids played. Most of the time was spent at the pools, lazy river, exercise room, indoor pool, and kids playroom. A trip to the beach was also on the agenda but why leave when you have such a fabulous time on site. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Security was great with arm bands. I highly recommend this condo and this place to stay for a relaxing time in Galveston We had all the conveniences of home, televisions in every bedroom, large baths with a washer dryer, and a kitchen stocked with all the necessary cookware for cooking if desired. We will come back and definitely stay here

  Maddie, I can not thank you enough for providing such a wonderful home to your guests. I lived the decor, pictures, shower and bath tub, appliances, furniture, etc... And that view..... Wow! It was stunning. I remember waking up every morning, walking down the hallway and being in awwwwww of that incredible view. Everyone in my party, from 2-85 years of age, loved the condo and amenities. We were also very relieved that it really didn't taker us very long to get anywhere on the island. Thank you, again, for your generosity. We will definitely recommend your condo to anyone who asks.

  Diamond Beach is an absolutely fantastic place to stay. I came with my husband, two little girls, mother-in-law, and sister. Everyone (ages 4 to 74) had an amazing time. The beds were comfortable and the unit was well appointed. I love to cook and the kitchen had all the utensils and dishes that I needed. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it! You will not be disappointed.

  We stayed in suite 611 which has a wonderful view, with pelicans riding the air currents every evening just in front of us, beach access through a locked gate, pools, hot tub, etc. The condo is very quiet, private, great security and very well taken care of. The staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly. We all enjoyed riding the Lazy river on tubes, even my 81 year old mother! Highly recommended if you want quiet, privacy, and great accommodations.

  We booked this for a couples get away with two couples, and it was perfect. The pictures make it look larger than it really is, but there was sufficient space for us to relax and enjoy. The kitchen was fully stocked and we did breakfast every morning - bring cone coffee filters #4 for the coffee maker. The beds were great and the linens first class, and the entire place was sparkling clean. We will definately be back to enjoy the condo should we be travelling back to Galveston. Would work well for our family as well if the weather was good, but the condo is too small to be in with a number of kids. Thankfully there is lots of public spaces in the building such as the game room and movie theatre which would be very convenient. Bar on the premisise wasn't open on Sunday afternoon, which was a bit disappointing, but nothing else was much of a negative. Lazy river, pool and hot tub were enjoyed daily.

  We really enjoyed staying in your condo this year for The Feast of Tabernacles October 10th through the 19th 2011. The view from your condo was great and the staff and amenities of the condominiums were exceptional. Your unit was very well equiped with kitchen items and TVs and was very comfortable. Your condo and the condo facility was so nice that we didn't want to leave. We look forward to staying here next year.

  I love this place. The pools are fantastic. My grandkids loved the water slide. Gramma loved the swim up bar. We had a great time. The condo is easy to get to, close to Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn. The suite is beautiful, decorated tastefully not cluttered, and has a wonderful view of the gulf and pools. This is a definitely would recommend.

  A friend and I rented this condo during the USAJR Nationals competition. The condo was wonderful! Very clean, well-decorated, and quiet. The kitchen was well-stocked, which was a pleasant surprise. (Not always the case!) Unfortunately, our kids were so busy that we didn't get to use all of the resort amenities, but we did enjoy the beautiful views from the balcony and the pools. The owner was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions, and the resort staff were great. We would definitely stay here again!
