Location location location! Enjoy family time in our beautifully decorated but comfortable home on wonderful Lake Rabun. Our home is ideally located on a small deep water cove just a three minute boat ride from all the action of Hall's Boat House. Guests enjoy a lovely view of the lake as well as our wonderful safe swimming area just steps from the house but away from boat traffic.
The swimming area has deep water as well as a clean sandy bottom shallow area with 3 steps up to a large sun dock which is attached to the boat house. The house has 3 large outdoor living areas: a large screened porch with a dining table that seats 10-12 and comfortable seating area for up to 10; a larger lower level covered porch with 2 separate seating areas , and a large seating area and dining area on the covered boathouse.
Additionally, there is a large water level sun deck attached to the boathouse, a swim- to floating dock a few yards from the sun deck, and a large kitchen-side 'cooking porch' with awesome lake views. Inside there are two living areas, a sleeping loft with two queen mattresses.
This is a very family oriented lake and our home is just that: family friendly and a place where memories are made. This property allows you to bring your own boat and has a dock where the boat can be tied up.
Lake Rabun is a 900 acre lake built in 1915 by Georgia Power. This property is located in the Northeast Georgia Mountains about an hour and 45 minutes north of Atlanta, Georgia. Boating, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, jet skiing are all available on Lake Rabun.
Nearby attractions include numerous waterfalls, Tallulah Gorge, and downtown Clayton. A fun day trip is to Highlands, NC - about a 1 hour drive.
Rabun Boat Works rents jet skiis and boats.

Perfect location on lake: Very safe swimming area, wonderful views of lake, short boat ride to marina and the two lakeside restaurants, great family walks with from house. Comfortable charming house with layout suited to families with multiple generations: Upper level: 2 bedrooms ( one queen and two twins) one bath, living, dinning, kitchen, very large screen porch with and cooking porch. Lower level 2 bedrooms ( one queen and one double bunk room), one large bath, living/game room, laundry room, huge out door covered porch with 2 seating areas and hot tub. 2 hammocks- one on covered boat house, one on screened porch..........This home has it all--places to spread out, but also places to all be together. It is a warm and loving home!!!
