We golf with a group of couples and generally we stay at one of the many resorts in the area where we golf. This year we chose to golf but to stay on the Gulf just for a change of pace. What a great choice, this home was wonderful. The home is close to many golf courses and activities. There is a farm market close by where we picked up fresh fish and vegetables which we cooked while looking out that the gulf coast. The home has two kitchens so it was preparing dinner upstairs while appetizers were made downstairs -very convenient for a large group. Very relaxing for all - drinks or wine at the Tiki Hut to watch the glorious sunset and a post dinner walk on the beach make for a very nice trip for all involved. The home is very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, everything for your stay is provided. Many thanks to the homeowner and manager for making our Golf/Gulf trip so wonderul - our days at staying at the golf resorts are over we will return again and again.

The listing description was accurate regarding the location no problems finding it and it sits right on the gulf as described. What you see is what you get, plenty of room, clean, comfortable and relaxing and incredible sunsets. Manager and owner were very accomodating. So many nice things to do in the area, Naples Zoo, farm markets, restaraunts, golf courses, fishing, shopping and just enjoying the beach. Dolphins and pelicans enjoy putting on shows out on the water and shelling is easy. Hanging out at the Tiki Hut in the evening is just pure "vacation". The weather was beautiful with gentle breezes. Little ones can just dig their hearts out making sand castles and decorating these castles with seashells. The home is set up for comfort and relaxation with plenty of room. Large upstairs kitchen and downstairs a smaller one. The owners were very nice as was the manager who answered all questions and assisted in recommendations of area "must sees". This will be our first choice for vacations in the future - Thank you!!!

Thinks twice before staying here. Pros: First of all let me say that the views from the house were wonderful and we did see dolphin almost everyday. It is right on the gulf and the beach is clean. Cons:The tiki house is not a place you would ever sit. Chairs are broken down and rusted and we never did find the hammock that was listed in the description of the property. The biggest disappointment for us was the kitchens. The upper kitchen has two working burners. Half of the stove top is a grill which did not heat up. The lower kitchen stove smoked so badly when we turned it on we immediately turned it off. We also found only two lids for pots and pans and the electric skillet was missing the electrical cord. Needless to say cooking for 12 people for the week was a challenge. The upstairs bedroom "queen" bed was the smallest queen I have ever seen. It was more the size of a standard size bed. The lower apartment unit is very outdated and not clean at all. The sliding doors were VERY difficult to open and it smelled musty. The house shows neglect. We have stayed in much nicer homes advertised on VRBO

No surprises, pictures tell all. Very relaxing. Owner and staff went extra mile. There is construction next door but workmen were quiet and respectful.

Listing description was accurate and the photos reflected the home accurately. The home was clean and well maintained. Renting a pontoon boat was great and saw many dolphins in the back waters. Biking and hiking at Lover's Key was excellent and we saw many manatees. Eating fresh seafood from Rode's market while the sun was setting can't be beat. We would recommend this to anyone.

Our family is from the Chicago area and we have been renting vacation homes in and around the Bonita Springs/Naples area for 10 plus years. We stayed the week after Christmas and had such a wonderful time. From the start, the owners were very helpful and accomodating sharing details on the amenities in the home as well as their own recommendations on great restaurants and fun events/spots to hit in close proximity! The home itself is in an excellent location and is very clean, open & spacious. We stayed with another family of five and never felt crowded. The kitchen was very large with a lot of space to prepare and make meals for our large group. The adults and kids loved eating breakfast and lunch out on the decks while watching the dolphins and birds at play along the Gulf. Can't say enough about the views from all three levels of this home--they are absolutely breathtaking with the most gorgeous sunsets at night! We all enjoyed long walks on the beautiful beach where we shelled, played in the water and had enough room and privacy for the guys to play a friendly game of touch football! Jet skiing at Doc's Beach House was an added bonus along with nature walks at Lover's Key State Park -- both within minutes of the beach house. For those who love to take advantage of the fresh catch in the Gulf, Rode's Fish Market/Restaurant is only five minutes up the road. You can eat in or get fresh fish/seafood to go. While we ate out a few times, we actually loved to grill outdoors eating the most delicious fresh fish & seafood from Rode's. We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house and plan to rent again in the future!

Beatiful location, easy to get to. The house was clean and the manager was helpful on most things. It does need some updating and general TCL. There is very little closet space for hanging clothes. But the location and sunsets are hard to beat. J and A

Owner response: Thank you for your comments We are constantly working to improve our property to make it as comfortable a home as possible. In the short time we have owned the home, we have replaced the carpet in the living room/ dining room with beautiful hardwood floors. We also replaced the furniture in those rooms with gorgeous Bernhardt furniture. The lower lever apartment was completely refinished. The kitchens are our next project. Our goal is to continue improving the home without inconveniencing our guests.

We had a wonderful time here. The home is clean and very relaxing. Your every need is covered. The beach is beautiful as are the views. Breakfast on the deck is the perfect way to start the day and heading to the Tiki hut at night to watch the sunset just caps a perfect day. Lots of shelling. Dolphins scoot along the shoreline. Seems to be a pet pelican here that sits on the water off the beach and looks up at the house in the mornings - House Envy from a Pelican? Can't blame him. Really enjoyed our time here. Plenty of golf in the area, shopping, cafes, fresh fish markets, theaters, etc. But to tell the truth we just stayed at the house most of time as it was just to perfect to leave. For sure we will be back. Thank you so much for such a warm, inviting and clean place to relax!

Me and a few of my best girlfriends spent some well deserved "girl time" at this beautiful beachfront home. The home is super spacious and had a very well equipped kitchen where we prepared many dinners together. LOTS of sleeping room and very clean. Any three of the decks off the home is perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails! The beach and coastline are stunning, filled with silky white sand and lots and lots of beautiful shells. The home is situated on a very quiet and laid back part of the beach. Perfect for a relaxing vacation where you will be sure to unwind. We had such a wonderful time that we are planning to make this an annual trip!

Had wonderful weather, beautiful beach, enjoyed the birds, golf and the ocean. Dolphins swim by on a daily basis it seems. House was lovely with a wonderful view of the ocean from all three floors. Master bedroom was so relaxing with the door walls open listening to the waves splash against the shore line. Shelling was also a lot of fun. We will be back!

We have been traveling down to Bonita Springs for over 20 years....and are SO happy we found this place to rent. it is so spacious throughout and can accomadate many people with tons of privacy as well. The views are breathtaking to say the least. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck in the am while watching dolphins literally right in front of you swimming and playing close to shore. This place is a must see and must rent....it is clean and you simply cannot beat the location. We will rent this home for vacations and family reunions for years to come. We were just here in January, 2011 and will be there again later this year. Don't wait..... you'll regret it.

We spent a week at this property with my husband, daughter and grandchildren. We loved it so much we've already booked our next trip. There are many places to see in the area but we were content to stay at the house swimming, sunning, and shelling. The kids didn't even want to leave the beach to go to the nearby water park. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach is just Beautiful and full of shells. The photos shown on the listing are very accurate as are the descriptions of the property. We had dinner the first neight at Randy's Fish Market which had the best Key Lime Pie! We also bought Grouper (freshly caught that morning in the Gulf) at Rodes Fish Market which is really close by. It was excellent. We highly recommend it here.
