the owners ware very simpatico and full of hospidelity. We would recommend the condo for friends. The relationship of price and what you get is very good. Helpful is to say which airport is the next to go. its a good place going to tofino.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
Owner response: If you are traveling by air from Vancouver and do not want to travel through Victoria, we would recommend a connecting flight from Vancouver (YVR) to Comox (YQQ). Car rentals are available at the Comox airport. Another great way to travel from Vancouver would be via Harbour Air from Vancouver directly to Comox. There are also daily direct flights from Calgary or Edmonton to Comox airport.

Excellent location for fun - hiking, kayaking, exploring the local towns. Enjoyed stepping outside to take a walk on the beach or swim in the channel. Seals and birds abound. Hosts are perfect - present and helpful whenever needed. Made us feel warmly welcomed and also gave us space and welcome to enjoy all the time on our own that we wished. It was clean, well-maintained and a pleasure to visit. Hope to return one day.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Superb location and equiped appartment. What could be better than sitting on a balcony having breakfast looking over the harbour onto the mountains behind. In the evening on the other side of the property sitting on the beach watching the sunset? Very well equiped and comfortable and delightful hosts thank you Don and Sharon. The vegetables from your garden were very much appreciated. The local towns nearby are very great for short excursions with lovely bookshops and art galleries. Good walks and Whale watching all within an hour.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had so much fun exploring the area. Some of our favorite spots included Englishman River Falls with it's beautiful scenery, Coombs with its old time market feel, and Horne Lake Caves....great for our adventurous side. We really appreciated your hospitality. Thanks again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you so much. You have been so kind, generous and helpful We have so enjoyed our stay. You made the area come alive to us and we leave better able to see what was previously invisible to us, Having you two as hosts has enriched our experience of Vancouver Island and Deep Bay.
