This 3rd (top) floor, end unit is close to the elevator and stairs for convenience. It is nicely furnished with 2 queen beds, a queen fold out sofa, 2 flatscreen TV's with satelite reception, a DVD player, VCR and available WIFI. Full sized, fully stocked kitchen. Linens are provided, however you need to bring beach towels. If needed there are washers and dryers located at the end of the hall.
Escape from the crowds amid acres of manicured grounds and thousands of feet of pristine sugar-white beach at this family oriented resort. Property amenities include one indoor pool (heated) with hot tub, six outdoor pools, lighted tennis courts,excercise room, basketball and shuffleboard courts, 2 outdoor hot tubs, horseshoe pits, outdoor charcoal grills, and a guarded entrance with 24-hour security. All located within walking distance of the championship golf course at Kiva Dunes and a short drive to historic Fort Morgan.
There is a Starbucks and bechside cafe/store located onsite for your convenience. There are also many seafood and steak resturants, Tanger Outlet Mall, Gulf State Park and Pier, Fort Morgan, Deep Sea Fishing, Waterville Amusement Park, The Track Amusement Park, The Wharf Amphitheatre, Movie Theatre, Mini Golf, Gulf Shores Zoo, and many other beautiful golf courses all located in the Gulf Shores area.

We stayed at this condo for the month of Feb 2013. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was how clean it was. Kitchen is well stocked. Beach is easily accessable for fishing and walking. Love the indoor pool and hot tub building. The grounds at the Plantation are very clean and kept up. Have already booked for 2014. Michelle and Larry are great to work with and get back to you quickly when emailed. The security is excellent. Guarded entrance and people that drive around in a golf cart after dark to make sure everyting is okay. Liked the fact that this is located outside of Gulf Shores but only 20 minute drive for shopping and resturants.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I had fun at this resort. The indoor pool and hot tub was a savior for our two small children, the weather was very cold and the beach was beautiful but windy. The condo was nice and had everything we needed for cooking and entertainment. It was a little noisy at times in the location of being right next to the elevator but it was convenient when loading and unloading groceries, luggage, and kids. We are looking to continue our family tradition of going to ft. morgan at spring break.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed the month at the plantation...the condo is what you see is what you get, very nice view of the Gulf from the balcony, everything was very CLEAN inside and out, with everything we needed supplied, we enjoyed being further out from the stores...we are thinking of coming back next year for two months. Even the weather was GREAT!!! Owner was very nice to work with and very helpful.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We enjoyed our stay very much in this condo. We had stayed at the GSPlantation twice before and wanted to stay there again. When we arrived we immediately noticed how clean everything was in the condo - clean by appearance and a clean smell. Nice layout, nice side view of the ocean, we enjoyed the balcony & the view of the ocean for breakfast & lunch each day. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were nice. The pools and hot tubs are great! Especially the main large pool. The owners of the condo were very nice, worked with us nicely and quickly. We would recommend this unit as well as the Gulf Shores Plantation to anyone.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great stay at the beach, the condo was in excellent condition, just as described. We would definitely come back again. Thanks so much for allowing us to use it. Loved the location, quick walk to the beach and pools/hot tub. The condo was well-stocked with utensils, cookware, dishes, etc. Could have used a few more dish towels. We went during the weekend of Hangout Fest and hoped that we would not have a large crowd of rowdy festival goers. This was a perfect hideout from all the festivities. Very few from the festival crowd and everyone was very relaxed and respectful.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. We were very pleased with the unit and it fit our needs well. The complex is nice with many pools (including an indoor), putting green, and of course the beach with very nice white sand. The only negative was that Ft. Morgan is so far out from stores and restaraunts (many people may like this). Overall we really enjoyed our vacation! We would highly recommend this unit!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family has vacationed in the area many times in the past. We decided to purchase at the Plantation because of all the on site ammenities it has to offer. There is always something to do and if you choose to just sit back and relax there is always room on the beach or at 1 of the 7 pools.

The Gulf Shores Plantation is located away from all of the high traffic areas and crowds which is more peaceful. There are plenty of things to do on site and within a short drive. Kiva Dunes Golf Course is in walking distance. The beach is not over crowded which makes sunbathing and walking along the shore very enjoyable.
