                            My fiance and I spent 2 nights here when we did some out and back hiking on the Lost Coast. Situated on a lovely meadow, the studio is very convenient to get to, while being in a very quiet location. The studio itself was the perfect size for the two of us with enough space to keep our stuff and give us plenty of room to relax. It had all the basic amenities and the bed was very comfortable. The couple who own it were VERY polite and their personal touches during our stay really set it apart from any hotel we would have found. We left with extremely fond memories of the place and the people and would reccommend it to anyone.

                            Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

                            Special place! We loved playing the Steinway Baby Grand by the fire. We would like to come again in the summer when we can do more outside and pick fruit from the orchard. We had to keep the fire stoked to keep it cozy.

Lindy-hop and social dance three nights weekly in Arcata. Listen to frogs at night, birdsong in the morning.
