The Lodge is an old-style vacation home in Gearhart, Oregon on 'Little Beach.' We provide a comfortable retreat which has satisfied guests for over three decades. Nature provides a spectacular view of the Coast Range and the Pacific Ocean. Wildlife such as eagles, osprey, blue herons and occasionally deer grace the landscape.
Our patrons include families who have returned for fifteen years, as well as return customers who hold workshops in tai chi and meditation, and traditional forms of worship. We average five weddings per year, and pride ourselves on supply reasonable rates to newlyweds and their entourages.
In keeping with our desire to better accommodate the needs of all visitors, we are phasing in changes designed to remove barriers to accessibility for disabled individuals.
Some measures to increase accessibility – such as moving furniture, setting up an access ramp, and installing more grippable door handles – will be taken, as needed, in advance of your visit. Please let us know whether your party requires access for disabled individuals so that we can put these “as needed” features in place, direct you toward drop-off and parking, and discuss further steps we might take to provide you with a safe and enjoyable visit.

It literally was perfect for our Family Reunion. The size in itself was grand. The location, which was beautiful, was a true bonus! I would recommend The Lodge to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding. Beautiful grounds, clean and beautiful inside and perfect for our family gathering with enough room for everyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Gearhart:
My father, a clinical psychologist bought this property in 1972 to offer weight-loss clinics and other residential workshops in a coastal environs. In the late seventies the Lodge became a rental.
