Sugar Springs cottage description
Enjoy a stay at our beautiful lakefront cottage; it has the feel of a private cabin in the woods right in the middle of all that is available within the Sugar Springs Resort, including playgrounds, boat launches, tennis & basketball courts, an indoor pool, grass airstrip, as well as the championship golf course and clubhouse with restaurant. Visit the Sugar Springs website to see all that is available.
There is so much to do in any season of the year: fishing, swimming, boating, tubing or water skiing right out the door in the summer, hiking, biking and shopping in the spring and fall, and ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and sledding in the winter.
Lake Lancelot, an all sports lake, provides for many activities, but a 'no wake' time in the morning and evening allows for some quiet time to fish, canoe or simply enjoy the peaceful lake.
The cottage has a large master bedroom on the upper level with a king-size bed, half bath and TV. On the main level, a second bedroom has a queen size bed and a third bedroom has a single bed with a trundle bed that pulls out for another single. There is a partly finished bunk room in the lower level that has two bunk beds to sleep 4 additional. There is also a loft providing additional sleeping space, for two more adventurous guests, that is accessible by ladder.
It is a great place for family vacations, a girls get-a-way, or a guys golf or fishing outing!

Owner response: Glad you enjoyed your time and thanks so much for the positive comments!
We loved the "cottage" which is more of a house and the lake! The swimming was wonderful and the lake very clean and warm. We rented a pontoon boat from the local marina for a day and swam all over the lake and fished with our kids. The cottage was fantastic and very clean! We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back!!

Wonderful vacation at the lake
Wonderful vacation at the lake
Our family stayed at the house in the middle of July and had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect. The sunsets were beautiful and the lake was so peaceful in the morning. We had a 3 year old girl with us who spent the day playing at the lake and never wanted to leave the water! It had all the amenities you could ask for at a lake house. We would definitely stay here again!

Owner response: Thanks so much and we are glad you enjoyed it!
My family and I had a great time at your cottage. The cottage had everything you could possibly need and was very clean. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. My kids all had fun taking turns in the loft above the kitchen. We were very happy to have air conditioning as the temp hit 100 degrees while we were there. The kids had fun looking for snails, and we all enjoyed swimming in the lake. I took my daughter for a quiet canoe ride in the morning on the beautiful lake. I almost forgot to mention the deck that wraps around the house. It has a table and chairs with a beautiful view of the trees and the lke. I would recommend the cabin to anyone and everyone. This is the third summer we have rented a cabin in northern Michigan, and this is the best one.

perfect lake house
perfect lake house
The perfect lake house. Beautiful elevated views, maybe the best on the lake. Sunsets were fantastic! Amenities in the communuty are readily available and of the highest quality (golf courses are both beautiful and challenging). Cabin appears recently remodeled and finishes are of the highest quality (granite and stainless). Outsude, there is a gentle slope to a sandy beach. Owners were flexible and very helpful. Can't wait to return!

Cozy and Quiet
Cozy and Quiet
We loved it! The cottage was so amazingly clean and well kept, Very cozy. We thought it was so great that they have the canoe, bikes, sailboat, fishin poles and so much more. It was so quiet in the evenings and morning. I even heard loons while drinking my coffee. The Lake is georgeous and I will always have sweet memories of staying there. Thank You So Much. We will keep you in mind and recommend you.

Had a GREAT Time
Had a GREAT Time
Growing up in Central Michigan, going "up North" means something to most. Having the opportunity to enjoy a few days on the lake, on the deck, walking/riding the trails, eating good food and enjoying the natural setting without all the expense of actually owning a place, is truly the best way to experience Up North! This traditional A Frame cottage has all of the luxury items you need, and the rustic setting to really let you feel like you can get away. Plenty of space for the kids and for friends to hang out without being on top of each other, we had a blast and are already looking forward to next year. Highly recommend this cottage we will be back

Why the Owner Chose Sugar Springs:
Sugar Springs is a great location because it has the feel of 'Up North' while being just a two hour drive. The location allows for a Friday night drive up in time to catch the Friday Night Fish Fry at the Clubhouse restaurant.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
My husband's family built the cottage when he was in high school. He loved being up there with friends, boating and water skiing and has been able to instill that love of the water and water sports in our kids as well. They are now the ones out on the water and bringing their friends.
