Spent an awesome, relaxing week and highly recommend this place to others looking for a private getaway, avoiding the resort scene. The grounds are well maintained, with fresh fruit picked from trees outside your window. Stayed in the Windsor suite which was clean, spacious, quiet, with an awesome view the bay, and sailboats and yachts coming and going. Cyrus, the manager, was super nice, friendly, knowledgeable and available as a helpful guide. We engaged him to bring us shopping, local food stands, the volcano, botanical gardens, beaches and snorkeling from the shore. He picked good locations and timed visits according to the weather and to avoid busy, large crowds. It was our first time off resort and we enjoyed going beyond the "all-inclusive bubble", eg met more local people, ate local food, and cooked meals in suite. Only minor suggestion: wifi could be stronger. The website photos/description and other reviews are accurate. Like most of the island, it's hilly, so there's a short walk on an incline to the shops, restaurants and beach below. We would visit again!

We had a fantastic 10 day stay at Marigot Palms. The views over the bay are stunning. We travelled with our 4 month old and had requested a cot - the baby bath, high chair and baby bouncer provided were a really appreciated touch. Great to have the facilities to eat in, if we wanted but there are some lovely places to eat in the bay. The only downside is the steep track that you have to walk to get down to the bay and back - the prize is the great view, but can be a hassle if you have a pram! The manager Sirus however is great and offered to give us a lift and organised a BBQ for us. We would recommend here to anyone.

This was our first experience with renting rather than all inclusive and was one of the best trips we have had.We felt like we were right at home, Cyrus was very helpfull and friendly and made our trip very relaxing. The people were friendly and the countryside was beautiful, Cyrus took us on tours and gave us history on the island on our many drives to shopping, Ansel a Raye fish fry friday, botanical gardens and Soufrie.Food was reasonable price at grocery stores, local restaurants had great food and price recommend JD's restaurant service and food was excellent. The property was just like in the pictures with many fruit trees and beautiful flowers. The owners were very helpfull with our questions and concerns through the booking process.Plan on returning and definitely will be recommending to friends and family. If you are looking for relaxing, interesting excursions and beautifull country this is a must see.

We had an amazing vacation at Marigot Palms. Cyrus the manager was phenonmenal. Nothing was too much trouble. He met us at the airport and even though it was Christmas Eve and the supermarket was chaotic helped us get some supplies and something to eat. He never stops smiling. We utilised his services to take us around some of the island and his knowledge meant we were able to experience things we would not have done without him. The apartments we rented were clean, modern and spacious. Marigot Palms is only a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants in the Bay. Also from here you can catch a 2 minute water taxi to the other side of the Bay where the you will find the beach and more eating options. The view from the pool and terrace at the apartments will take your breathe away and is picture perfect. We had very relaxing vacation and hope to return very soon.

Marigot Palms is the ideal spot for a relaxed and peaceful holiday. The views are amazing and it's only a short 5 minute walk to Marigot Bay where there is a bank, small supermarket, bakery and five or six restaurants. We stayed in the Windsor Suite which is stylish and modern as well as comfortable and spotlessly clean. It's very well equipped with everything you could need. Excellent shower, comfortable bed and it was lovely to have air conditioning which isn't offered in many of the other holiday rentals in the area. The pool area was immaculate and it was lovely to be able to pick fresh limes for our G and T's in the beautiful gardens! Cyrus was the star of the show - always ready to help out with any information you might need and organising excellent, value for money trips around the island.

Our stay at Marigot Palms was pretty much perfect. We though we'd skip the all inclusive deals and go for something where we could truly relax and be together as a family, and we got just that. The villa was immaculate inside and out, and the view was spectacular. Imagine swimming in the pool overlooking Marigot Bay, surrounded by palm, lime, orange and grape fruit trees. We were all surprised by the quality of the furnishings - especially the beds which were great. And the full kitchen meant we could control when and what we ate, with a handy grocery/liquor store just down the street. We didn't want the stress of renting a car and feeling obligated to use it all the time, so we hired Cyrus (the manager) for a few day trips, and it was well worth it. He knew where to go and the best times to visit, and really took care of us the whole time we were there. Cyrus also arranged for any sailboat rentals and such, because he could work out the best deals for us. We highly recommend the sunset cruise if you can. Certainly one of the highlights of our trip. And get some peanuts while you;re there, because there;s a couple of little blackbirds that will eat them out of your palm. The owner was staying there for the first week of our visit, and we became good friends with him. While we were lucky enough to share a few beers on occasion, he was always professional, and concerned that our accommodations were in tip top shape, which of course it was. We stayed for 12 days in total, and none of us wanted to go home. From the lovely people of St. Lucia to the awesome accommodations at Marigot Palms, the trip simply could not have been better. We will most certainly go back.

After doing some research online about where to go on our honeymoon we decided on St. Lucia and more specifically Marigot Palms in Marigot Bay, St. Lucia. We were curious when we saw the pictures of Marigot Palms, but we were sold after having some contact and conversations with Steve. He was so warm and inviting and professional. Once we arrived we were greated at the airport by Cyrus's friend Smally who took us to Marigot Palms. Once we were there in person we were in amazement. The place and view was simply gorgeous. Since Steve did not have a full house at the time of our stay he upgraded us into a beautiful suite. Our stay was so comfortable. Steve is very outgoing and was very attentive to any and all of our needs. Eventhough he lived in the aparment upstairs he was not intrusive to our privacy. He made reservations for us when asked and was a wealth of information. He was a pleasure to sit and chat with in the afternoons. There was alway fresh fruit brought to us in the morning that is grown on Steve's land. On two different occasions he even brought my husband a fresh caught lobster since they were discussing that there was not as much seafood on the island as we thought. He was also gracious enough to bring us a bag of coffee and filters on our first morning. Our fridge upon arrival had wine, chocolates and water (much to my pleasure). After discussing that the humidor down in the small town was broken, Steve gave my husband some that he had. I hope that these give you some examples as to what an amazing and generous person Steve is. I honestly can't find all the right words to descripe him. Cyrus is an absolutely outstanding person and we are so lucky to have met him in our travels. He is the manager of Marigot Palms and the informal Mayor of St. Lucia. He is a walking roadmap of the island and a friend to everyone there. No matter where we traveled on the island Cyrus was known. We did all of our taxiing with Cyrus since we always felt very comfortable with him around. He was never too far away if he dropped you off somewhere for the day (just a phone call with the phone provided to you). Our stay would not have been the same if we did not meet Steve and Cyrus. We reflect frequently about how wonderful they were to us. The island was beautiful but these guys really made our trip remarkable. As Steve said "We are not just friends now, we are family". It's always Piton-thirty. Sincerely, Rick and Stacia

We are so thrilled we found this gem of a place. Situated in the very quaint Marigot Bay, the apartment and property are fantastic. The Windsor room has a balcony with a priceless view of Marigot Bay (and St. Lucian sunsets), spacious living area and bedroom, and beautiful fixtures. The pool also overlooks the bay and comes complete with a sitting area and bar. The landscaping is impeccable. Steve is as warm of an owner as they come - he was so hospitable and accommodating. Cyrus is one of the kindest souls on the planet - he took great care of us, arranged for and took us on tours, and was great company. We cannot recommend Marigot Palms highly enough. Plus, the nearby town has some great restaurants, water activities, and a hotel with a great spa. It's a great place to stay and more authentic than some of the more tourist areas such as Rodney Bay. It is only a 40 minute drive to Rodney Bay, Soufriere, and Dennery, where there are other activities and a 20 minute drive to Castries. We had a phenomenal vacation in St. Lucia!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Marigot Palms in August 2011. The manager Cyrus met us at the airport with a warm greeting after we had travelled ALL DAY. From our first interaction, we found Cyrus to be friendly and willing to go the extra mile for us. He even offered to take us to get a meal before going to the apartment. Once we arrived at Marigot Palms, the owner Steve was there to greet us even though it was almost 11:00 at night. He showed us to our apartment and informed us that there were drinks and snacks in our kitchen. I was eager to sort out all formalities; however, Steve insisted that we get some rest and handle our business in the morning. When we stepped into our apartment we were excited because the pictures that we had viewed on the internet we identical! Over the course of the next 10 days, Cyrus and Steve went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Whatever our wish was, Cyrus in particular, would grant it. We enjoyed taking tours with Cyrus and sitting on the terrace and having great conversations with Steve. We loved the fact that we could walk outside of our sliding door and jump into the pool while enjoying one of the best views in St. Lucia. We did not have to worry about arriving back home and paying huge cell phone bills because a cell phone was provided for us to make local calls free our charge, of course with Cyrus on speed dial. Additionally, on a few occasions Steve would bring us bananas from the trees on the property or Cyrus would bring us mangoes, as he knew my boyfriend loved them! Overall, our experience at Marigot Palms was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have recommended that our friends and family visit St. Lucia and stay at Marigot Palms. The views are breathtaking and it is a great place to relax and forgot about the stresses of everyday life back home.

We stayed at Marigot Palms for 11 nights during July. We were looking for somewhere quiet where we could relax and chill as well as self-cater for the majority of our stay, with the odd special dinner out. Marigot Palms was ideal for our needs. We were in the Windsor Suite, which is clean and nicely decorated and furnished. The balcony was not very wide, but was nice to sit out on and watch the boats coming in and out of the bay. We found the road to the Palms very steep - the walk down to the bay is c5mins, but the return journey time will depend on fitness. The kitchen could do with a bit more equipment for the cook, but the shower was fab, the bed firm and we really appreciated the aircon for the hot nights. We enjoyed spending a great deal of our time by and in the pool, especially as we were the only occupants apart from the owner for most of our stay. The gardens were well kept and the gardener provides fresh bananas and limes too (fab with a cold Piton beer!). We highly recommend Cyrus the manager/driver, who was friendly and a good driver. We were so impressed by him that we used him to drive us when we did manage to leave the pool and I would recommend this for anyone likely to be daunted by the very winding and hilly roads in St Lucia, quite a few of which have very little signage and numerous potholes.

Marigot Palms has to be the ultimate in luxury. To start with the view is unbeatable - if you tried to picture a perfect postcard view, you would still be amazed. By day or by night, you could never grow tired of looking out across Marigot Bay. No expense has been spared in the apartments which are very tastefully decorated and the garden is well- stocked with all kinds of exotic shrubs and fruit trees. The smell of the fresh limes from the tree is firmly imprinted in my mind! In the future whenever I need to transport myself away from the British weather, I will imagine that I'm back on one of the sunloungers, looking out onto the caribbean sea. Until, that is, I can get back there

My husband and I just returned from Marigot Palms after being there a month. It definitely became our home away from home. It was the most beautiful and relaxing vacation we have had. Every detail was exceptional from the ironed bed linens , cloth napkins, to the European bath fixtures. Steve, the owner, was a wonderful host along with his staff of Cyrus, Alicia, Ozzie and Ben. The free-form pool was footsteps away from our room. We were reluctant to leave the premises to venture out on the rest of the island because it was perfect. It was quiet and serne but if you wanted activity there was plenty to do with Cyrus being the driver and quide. (We have been to 18 countries in 20 years.)

We spent the 2nd week of a 2 week holiday in St Lucia at Marigot Palms, and despite a great experience for our 1st week, Marigot Palms really was the icing on the cake! From the moment we arrived Steve and the rest of his team ensured that our stay was exactly what we wanted and we left feeling relaxed and pampered. We stayed in the 1 bedroom, ground floor apartment. All of the apartments are brand new with quality fixtures and fittings. We slept like babes (I assume due to the comfort of the bed, but the evening cocktails and Piton beers may also have had something to do with this). There was a large TV in our livingroom, though never had the need to turn it on- with the most stunning view through the patio door why would you need to? The wifi (which is a key priority for my workoholic husband) worked perfectly both in the apartment and out by the pool. Steve offered excellent recommendations for restaurants, tours and other trips and was genuinely interested in ensuring that we had a good time. Cyrus took us to the Friday night fish fry which should not be missed- great food and fantastic people watching and Cyrus was a wonderful host. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to meet Anne-Marie who was away while we were there- but that just seems like as good a reason as any to plan another trip to St Lucia and to Marigot Palms in the near future!

As soon as we arrived at Marigot Palms, we knew we’d chosen well. When we asked Steve the proprietor how he and his wife planned the property, he said, "We created what we look for when we travel." Well apparently, we are like-minded travellers because my friend and I found just what we were looking for—a great view, a wonderful apartment, a quick walk to the shops and restaurants, a quiet, well-maintained villa, and accommodating hosts. We rented the 2 bed/2 bath suite on the upper level. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, dishes, and utensils. On the first morning, Steve provided us with a lovely breakfast, and then he took us to nearby grocery store where we found a good selection of reasonably priced food. Even the small store in Marigot Bay offers a good selection of staples (including wine and beer) at reasonable prices, and it is walking distance. I've rented houses in the Caribbean before, and this was by far the most modern and comfortable. The furnishings offer a clean European sensibility. The beds are made up with crisp, white cotton sheets and duvets and the towels are fluffy, white and fresh. We felt instantly at home. Normally, when I read, “we provide tours,” I’m sceptical, but all I can say is “Trust in Cyrus.” Cyrus is a trusted employee from the island, and he’ll provide you with the experience you are looking for without being intrusive. He’s an expert in getting you ahead of the cruise ship mobs, so it’s good to leave your inner control freak on the plane and let Cyrus run the show. After a few trips with Cyrus, you'll feel like you are visiting with relatives rather than being shuttled around by a tour guide. Tours with Cyrus are worth every penny. Steve is more than willing to hold court at the Tikki Bar and swap stories, but if you are looking for quiet time and privacy, you will also find it here. My travel companion dubbed Marigot Palms as having the best view of the Bay. If you are a like-minded traveller who wants to escape the tourist crowds and all-inclusive hotels, you won’t be disappointed. I would recommend this property for travellers who want to avoid the typical tourist experiences and experience more of the real St. Lucia. Marigot Palms is a great place to relax and get away from it all. We enjoyed our trips to the botanical garden, mud baths, zip line, Castries, and local friday night fish fry. Castries on a no-cruise ship day was like Toronto's Kensington Market on crack - lively and colourful.

Before arriving in St Lucia, I wasn't really familiar with this Caribbean Island. From driving from the airport / other part of the Island I was amazed at the beauty/scenery and how tropical it looked. When we arrived at Marigot Bay I was truly amazed at the natural beauty and realized this is a hidden gem. Mairgot Palms was exactly what we were looking for : quiet, slightly off the beaten track, within walking distance to amenities, with a killer view. The apartments are very modern, completed to taste and extremely clean.. you could tell the owners cared deeply about their renovations from the previous owner. Steve the owner was fantastic: very attentive if there was anything we needed, took care of restaurant reservations and genuinely a very nice guy. What I liked about staying here that it didn't feel like a hotel, you could come and go and not worry about ordering food, cleaning your room first thing in the morning. You could make your own breakfast lunch etc. Mairgot Bay it's self was very beautiful and I really liked the marina’s and the surrounding restaurants etc. and how cool to arrive to some of them via a 24 hour Water Taxi. Steve organized a few trips for us to the South of the Island to the fish fry; both of which were a great experience. I’d highly recommend St Lucia and in particular Marigot Palms to anyone, it was a very enjoyable experience.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marigot Palms (MP). After a long journey w/ little sleep, and lost luggage, we were met at the airport by Cyrus (Steve and Anne Marie's right hand man) who drove us to MP. Upon arriving at MP, Steve met us with a warm smile. He made us feel very welcomed. He showed us to our beautiful and extremely clean apt. After a quick shower and change into our swimsuits (we had packed these in our carryon, thankfully!) we made our way to the pool to relax. Steve was more than accommodating by offering us drinks and a dinner reservation at a local restaurant. Though it is only a quick 6 min walk down to the Village, Steve offered to drive us. He also offered to pick us up after dinner, but we opted to walk back up the hill after dinner, which even though it was dark was no problem. We stayed at MP for one week and each day was relaxing and fun. We met and made friends with all the other guests at MP. Many nights all eight guests would sit out on the poolside deck; have a cocktail and talk, laugh and joke. We always invited Steve to join in as he became more than a host, he became a friend. Even though there were six other people staying at the apts, we still felt like we were on our own and could relax. Steve was always helpful and available for setting up activities for us. We also hired Cyrus for a day to drive us around the island. Cyrus has lived in St. Lucia his entire life and knows the island as well as its people. We were very comfortable with him and enjoyed our time with him. We could not have asked for a better personal guide for the day. I definitely recommend MP as a place to spend your vacation in St. Lucia. The location is perfect! After seeing Castries, Rodney Bay and Soufriere, we were always so happy to be "home" in Marigot Bay. It is one of the most beautiful places on the island and MP overlooks this little piece of paradise. Thank you, Steve for making our vacation one we will always remember and treasure. You and Marigot Palms exceeded our expectations!

My husband and I stayed at Marigot Palms for 5 days on our 1st trip to St Lucia and it was truly marvelous! Steve, the owner treated us royally and his staff, in particular Cyrus, is a genuinely great guy who drove us around with 1st class style. Everyone was sincere, friendly and aiming to please. The cliff-side views were truly magnificent, and the accomodation was fresh & lovely. Its amazing how truly relaxing, interesting and enjoyable it is to just stare out at Marigot Bay, while watching the sailboats and yachts come in & out - a whole day can 'sail away'. We really hope to go back to Marigot Palms sometime soon and thoroughly enjoyed our stay - we were sad to leave but look forward to returning. St Lucia was our best vacation ever & I'd highly recommend Marigot Palms for its views, accomodation and 1st class hospitality & service - it was just PERFECT! Thank you!

We stayed at Marigot Palms for a week from January 19 to 26 of 2011. We rented a car at the international airport and drove to Marigot Bay. It's very easy to find and the directions that Steve the owner gave us were very clear. Steve was there to greet us when we arrived and even took our luggage to the room. There's a very nice car park in front of the apartment that holds four or five cars. Steve helped us get reservations at a local restaurant and cooked us breakfast the next morning. He offered to take us to the grocery, but frankly we had passed it on the way in and since we had a car we declined his offer. Speaking of groceries, about 15 min. away is a brand new Super J IGA grocery that is identical to any medium size store in the US. The prices were just a bit above US prices but the selection was very similar. There is a very nice beach at Anse Cochon about a half hour away. You can park by the road there and walk a path/road to the beach about 200 yds away. There's good snorkeling, swimming and even a beach bar with food operated by a local resort. We wish we had gone to the beach more, it was very nice and the water was warm. We stayed in the Buckingham one bedroom apartment at Marigot Palms. It is brand new inside with beige tile floors that are spotless. A new full kitchen is featured with all the appliances and cooking utensils that you need including a toaster and coffee maker. The TV has all the US cable channels which was very welcome when we were tired. The wireless internet was fast and reliable. The apartment features a separate bedroom with a queen four poster bed and separate bathroom. The shower in the bathroom is walk in with a rain type shower head and a hand held sprayer. All the fixtures are new and designer grade, quite a surprise. The bed was very comfortable. There is a separate AC unit in the bedroom and greatroom with separate controls. They are Mitsubishi package units and are very quiet and effective. The great room features a large leather sofa that I believe opens to make a bed. Steve offers touring with his driver Cyrus in a small minivan. Prices seem to be competitive. Cyrus has got to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. He even fixed a small dent in our rental car and was always there to provide directions. Summary; This was a very good rental apartment in a central location. Steve and Cyrus are very friendly and work hard for their guests. The price is great for such a new place.

My wife and I stayed at Marigot Palms in the Windsor suite for our honeymoon in St Lucia. We had an amazing time and would both highly recommend it. The view of Marigot Bay from the suites is gorgeous, and the apartment we stayed in was spotless and very nicely furnished - all modern appliances and bathroom. The pictures really don't do it justice! There's AC and wifi in the rooms if you want it, and also a full kitchen - there's no landline in the room though, so I'd recommend bringing a laptop and a usb headset so you can make local calls for cheap through skype. You're within about a 5-7 minute walk from the marina, where there's a handful of restaurants, a grocery store, a small beach, and a place you can rent kayaks and such. Although honestly, we spent a lot of time just relaxing at Marigot Palms, either lounging by the pool or hanging out by the Tikki bar chatting with Steve and other guests who were staying there. The owners, Steve and Anne Marie, live in one of the other suites on the property and are both wonderful people who were extremely helpful throughout our stay. They would call restaurants for us to make reservations and offered to drive us over if we didn't feel like walking. The night we arrived Steve drove us down to a local restaurant (Chateau Mygo) and the following day he was nice enough to drive us to a supermarket to stock up on some supplies for our kitchen (the smaller grocery store by the marina is more expensive and I wouldn't recommend buying a lot of stuff there). It was nice being able to cook meals ourselves when we didn't feel like going out. There aren't a ton of restaurants in Marigot Bay and overall the area is smaller and less touristy than Rodney Bay, but we actually preferred this. If you stay at there, you can choose to do your own exploring, or there's prearranged tours offered through Marigot Palms (they cost extra, but prices are pretty reasonable given what it would cost even just for cab ride to and from the different places on the island). The tours are led by Cyrus, a local who's good friends with Steve and Anne Marie. We went on a few tours led by Cyrus - he is just a really sweet, wonderful guy that we enjoyed spending time getting to know. Overall, highly recommmended!

We went to St Lucia for New Years and the first week of January. It was a wonderful experience staying at the Marigot Palms. They are situated in a very nice area, close enough to walk to the bay and shops. They are also situated on the side of the bay where you do not need to take a water taxi or lift. This was very convenient for us. The owners, Steve and Marie-Ann were very hospitable. They welcomed us with open arms into their home, and made our stay very relaxing. It was our first time visiting St. Lucia and we were totally blown away. We had more of a personal relationship that you don't find in an ordinary hotel, the owners genuinely cared about us and made us feel at home. The accommodations were luxurious, we stayed in the Clarance suite, right next to the swimming pool. We had a modern kitchen, which we used regularly to cook our own meals. Our driver Cyrus was excellent. We arranged several tours with him and they were all worth it. We were able to do zip lining, visit Rodney beach, and tour south of island (pitons, volcano, Soufriere). He took us to places where locals ate which was really wonderful, we got a good sense of the St Lucian culture and their people. We truly enjoyed our stay, and were amazed with the beautiful villa at Marigot Palms. It is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures! The terrace and view are truly magnificent, the best view in all of Marigot Bay. Highly recommended! We love the island of St Lucia and we will definitely think of visiting again.

I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful our trip to St. Lucia was! Despite a little rain here and there, the time we had relaxing and admiring the gorgeous rainforest from our lovely terrace was breathtaking! We felt at home instantly with Steve & Anne-Marie (the owners) there to guide and advise on anything we needed. They are such wonderful and good-hearted people. We felt like we knew them for years. The tiki bar near the pool was a great area where at the end of each day after dinner we would gather and have such nice conversations and drinks and even cigars too! We loved the WINDSOR suite. All very clean and modern. The TV and wi-fi were excellent. We were very comfortable from the moment we arrived. There isn't a negative thing we can personally say about this place and me and my partner have traveled all over. We HIGHLY recommend Marigot Palms!!! If you're seeking privacy and to get away from all those touristy areas yet wanting to have a nice vacation in paradise then this is the place for YOU! And while you're there, be sure to check out the Rain Forest restaurant (top-knotch service) and take a nice sailing day trip around the island. We will be back for sure to see our new friends (Steve, Anne-Marie & Cyrus) again in the near future! We loved Marigot Bay! PS-- the locals are all such warm and friendly people... Darlene & James

We found Marigot Palms on another vacation homes website and fell in love with the description of the accommodation and location. The apartment we rented for the week (The Windsor) and Marigot Palms in general surpassed the photos on the website. We wanted a place that was pretty central on the island as we had a rental car and wanted to explore the island. Our other criteria was for something modern, luxurious and self contained. Marigot Palms definitely fit the bill. The apartments are just as short walk to the local shops and restaurants which was extremely convenient when we didn't feel like eating out. You also had the convenience of a lot of the hotel facilities e.g. spas from the nearby resorts. The owners, Steve and Anne-Marie were fantastic. They stayed up to greet us when we first arrived even though it was close to 11.30pm. They provided us with a complimentary continental breakfast the next day and then Cyrus, their driver drove us back to the airport the next day so we could pick up our rental car. They were extremely helpful and were always there if you needed anything. The apartment had spectacular views of Marigot Bay. We often found ourselves often having breakfast on the balcony and just admiring the views. After a day out sightseeing, it was great to come back to the apartment and just chill out and work on our tans by the pool. Marigot Palms is the ideal holiday location. It's in a fantastic spot; great value for money and the self contained apartments allows you the luxury of either eating out or in. The owners were so easy to deal with which always makes the whole experience so much better. Marigot Palms is your own piece of paradise while you're there.

After renting the Buckingham apartment at Marigot Palms in October 2010, my husband and I hope to return to this spot in the future. Everything exceeded our expectations. This property is spectacular! We came here for our honeymoon and truly couldn't have picked a better location! Our congenial email exchanges with Steve Blackwood, the property owner, set the tone for a great stay. Upon arriving we were greeted by a generous coffee, tea, snacks, champagne welcome basket and spotless interior. The grounds replete with greenery, breathtaking view of the bay, fruit trees from which you are welcome to snip samples. While in St. Lucia we did tons of snorkeling, sailling, scuba diving, ziplining, took a boat trip to Martinique, dined at fine restaurants, went to Fish Festival ... and after every our little adventure we were so happy to head back to our secluded oasis at Marigot Palms and take a dip in the pool and just relax. Having a place to ourselves, a true home away from home - not just a room, was key for us. I love to cook, so we loved having kitchen where we could occasionaly cook breakfast or dinner if we didn't fell like going out. Everything we needed was right there, short 5 minute walk to a coffee shop, supermarket, restaurants, other resorts where you could, for a little fee, use the gym or get a massage, meet other people - mostly couples on their honeymoons. We recommend this place to anyone - you can relax, enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of Marigot Bay or you can go and explore the island and enjoy all the water sports and adventure this place has to offer. Our guide and driver Cyrus was extremely helpful in getting us to places and explaining things. We appreciate all the hospitality we received. What a great honeymoon! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Lenka&Gerard

"St. Lucia's best kept secret - Marigot Palms awesome experience" This was my second visit to Marigot Palms and it is always a delightful experience. I am always greeted with a very warm and friendly reception by the owners. I am a widow and I truly feel at home whenever I visit Marigot Palms. My first visit to Marigot Palms was also my first visit to the Island of St. Lucia and my visit was very structured with planned sightseeing trips all over the island. My day trips were fantastic but I felt as if I cheated myself of not being able to enjoy the beautiful relaxed atmosphere and magnificent view of the surroundings of Marigot Palms and I thought to myself I should return. This, my second trip, I spent 7 glorious days starting with my early morning swim and breakfast under the gazebo. A couple of days I strolled through the seaside town of Marigot Bay which is within walking distance of Marigot Palms, had lunch and just admired the quiet and ease of movement by sea and land around me, it was quite an enjoyable experience. One day I had a relaxed unplanned scenic ride to the foot of the Pitons which was wonderful. The other days were spent enjoying the atmosphere of Marigot Palms with its fruit trees and beautiful flowering plants. I cannot forget the awesome feeling waking up in the mornings with the magnificent view through the big glass doors of my suite. I also enjoyed sitting hours on the upper balcony feeling extremely relaxed admiring the spectacular view of the sea, boats and lush greenery of the mountain. Thanks to the over and above hospitality that is always offered at Marigot Palms I had a wonderful vacation, and again, I told myself I will return. Constance, Pembrooke Pines

Stayed at Marigot Palms in Sept 2010 with my husband and had the holiday of a life time. The suite we stayed in, The Windsor, was as good if not better than we expected. It was impeccable clean, everything looked new and was quality. The views from every room was breathtaking, Even taking the short walk to the beach and shops was enjoyable, walking down the road, surrounded by trees and shrubs. The owners were very helpful and helped us book local tours and excursions. We didn`t rent a Jeep as everything was within walking distance so that was a big saving for us. We would defiantly recommend Marigot Palms for a luxury vacation. "

"Absolutely breathtaking views with every amenity of home." This was an outstanding trip!!! I was a bit nervous staying away from the big familiar names, but I don't think I could have picked a better place to enjoy for a week in paradise. The views are breathtaking! The property is less than a 5 min walk to the beach, grocery shopping, restaurant, bank, etc. I called ahead and arranged to be picked up from the airport. About 20 min (I think) drive of rainforest and beautiful scenery to the property. The owners of the property live there and are incredibly friendly and helpful. They set up a private boat tour for us, and had lots of tips and advice for us. They also set up inexpensive rides for us to tour the island including the famous Piton Mountains, and the La Soufriere Drive-In Volcano (both a must to see while you're there). There is also a big neighborhood party every Friday evening (Fish Fry) in anse La Raye (a must), where the locals have music, food, and souveniers for the tourists. The locals are so extremely friendly and nobody bothers you to buy things like other islands. The rooms are huge, have a full kitchen, separate living area and bedroom (separated by a door) and have a fantastic view of Marigot Bay. Great value! We spent lots of time relaxing on the deck just sipping wine and watching the million dollar yachts float by... A nice unexpected bonus and convenience and I dont know if they normally offer this, (we were the only people on the property at the time) but they served a fantastic breakfast with scrambled eggs, toast, bacon and a great selection of fruit most of which was grown on the property! We will return, and hope to start an annual tradition! Loved it, and cant wait to go back!!

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years in Marigot Bay at the Marigot Palms. Everything that you see in pictures is far BETTER in person! The hosts did everyhting to make sure that we had a safe and enjoyable vacation. The new accomodations were spacious and comfortable for our family of three. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wnats the feeling of staying at your own home away from home without the hassles and expense of staying in a hotel.
