We stayed @ the condo over President's Day Weekend.....the condo was clean, it had everything we needed to feel like home away from home. The weather was perfect the snow condition for boarding/skiing were incredible and the lodges were not crowded at all.

A Welcoming & Inviting Home

Guest: Rachel (Kapolei, HI)
Date of Stay: 01/16/12 Review Submitted: 01/23/12

First, I have to say that the condo was definitely larger than it looked in the pictures. We had more than enough space for the 3 couples that stayed for our 2 day vacation. After looking at snow reports we were worried that there wouldn't be any snow, especially since there was no snow at the bottom of the mountain. As luck would have it, there was more than enough snow and the condo is so conveniently located next to the slopes for easy access there was no need to drive anywhere for the whole 2 days! There was even a little play area for the kids to sled right next to the condos. We all enjoyed ourselves so much that we may take another trip for next snow season. Mahalo Nui Loa Cathy & Dan!!!

Owner response:Sounds like a great trip. Glad you enjoyed the accommodations. Hope you have a good trip back to Hawaii...and I wish I was going with you :)

What a blessed abode

Guest: Cynthia D.

This condo served as my home away from home for three months off and on. There wasn't one thing that I could have wanted for. This beautifuly appointed condo provided three couples absolute comfort and convenience. I wasn't there during the ski season but there was plenty of snow and wind, and the condo stayed cozy and warm. This is definitely the only place I will stay on my return trips to Brian Head, Utah. Thank you again Cathy and Dan, you have a beautiful place.

Owner response:We always want our guests to feel like our condo is their home away from home. We're glad you enjoyed your stays. Hope to see you back again soon.

Great Home for Two Families

Guest: TheAllens (San Diego)
Date of Stay: 12/18/11 Review Submitted: 12/24/11

We just returned from an EPIC ski vacation with friends. We both have two children and this turned out to be a great rental for us. The apartment is actually bigger than it looks in the photos and the place has a very homey, family feel. The ski in/ski out feature is priceless for a family. When a couple people get cold, hungry or hear nature's call, they simply ski to the back door and come back out when they're ready. It really helps to keep everyone happy. The kitchen isn't huge and the appliances aren't in tip-tip shape (one of the burners was out on the stove, the ice maker doesn't work, the garbage disposal guard is missing and you have to cover the drain with a plate when you run it) but there's plenty of pots and pans and other kitchen implements and the larder is well stocked with spices. There's a nice eating area in the living room, but the chairs are circa 1980s and some of the wheels fall off when you sit down. For eight people, you need to bring in the lounger from the living room and someone has to sit on the foot stool. Time for an upgrade here. The best part of this home is the layout. The downstairs bedrooms both have bathrooms/showers and are about the same size. Nice for splitting between two sets of parents. The showers work well and the owners are very nice to provide soaps and shampoos and nice towels and warm flannel linens. There are TVs in all the rooms (though we didn't turn them on once--too much fun playing games, again, thanks for supplying so many) and a really nice flat screen in the living room. Upstairs, it's kid heaven. They have their own little apartment, once again with full bath/shower. It has a sitting area with a couple of comfy couches and two queen beds. They even had a microwave and coffee maker and there was a basket of microwaveable popcorn, coffee, etc. It's a great little hangout that the kids loved. Other great features include a jacuzzi, sauna, game room in the adjoining building without the need to go outside, a barbeque on the deck that works great with a couple Daddy-chillin-with-a-beer chairs at the ready, a big equipment room with built in ski and board racks, underground parking, and, of course, 4 Freedom Passes. Overall, even though there's some maintenance needed in the kitchen/dining room, this was a great family ski apartment with a very warm, welcoming feel. We'd definitely return.

Owner response:Ski trips are the best and the 4 ski free passes save families $200/day. There are folding chairs in the downstairs closet that allow you to accommodate 8 people at the table, as well as the bar stools next to the table. We will look into the repair issues, thanks for letting us know. The upstairs area is unique to our unit and a great place for the kids to have fun. Sometimes it is nice to leave the TV off and we provide lots of games to enjoy. There are movies and cable TV for those families who want it. Thanks for taking the time to review our property.

Thanks for the wonderful time! It's such a cute place. The upstairs is the easiest place to get comfortable and I like all the old fashioned sports wear on the wall. Everybody enjoyed it a bunch. P.S. It brought back many great memories, and we're from Mendon, Salt Lake and Logon.

Best Family Easter (from our guest book)

Guest: John, Liz and the girls (-)
Date of Stay: 04/22/11 Review Submitted: 11/20/11

One of the best family Easter's we've had. One sunny Spring day and then two snowy days. Great skiing and accommodations. Our girls said it is better than Disneyland! Thanks so much, we absolutely love your place. Last day of season was filled with powder. Awesome skiing until the end of the day inspired us to stay another night for hot tub, game room fun and family movie. So much fun!!

We had a great time! The room/loft upstairs was great for the kids. The only part that was rough was the DVD player upstairs did not work. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time. This was our first time here at Brian Head and we can't wait to come back!

Wonder place to stay

Guest: Linda (Montana)
Date of Stay: 10/14/11 Review Submitted: 10/19/11

I live in Billings Montana and my siblings live in Colorado. We decided to do a road trip to all the parks in Utah. This condo was centrally located to all the parks. The condo was charming. We had a wonderful time in Utah. The big plus was the owners were wonderful to work with. Thanks for all your help.

Owner response:Sounds like a great trip. Nearby Cedar Breaks, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park are part of Southern Utah's Color Country and are truly majestic places to visit. We're glad you enjoyed the condo, we try to provide everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Your trips inspires me to plan a family getaway. Thanks.
