Wonderful gulf beach views greet you from this third floor condominium at beautifully manicured Loggerhead Cay. The large, heated pool is also in sight from our screened-in lanai. Enjoy the view of the beach and the gulf from the livingroom sofa. Enjoy sunrise from the kitchen, lunch on the lanai, or enjoy the sunset from this beautiful, bright, and airy top-floor condo. This condo is on a corner of building 5 and the lanai is screened on two sides offering stunning views. Additionally, the vaulted ceilings and overhead skylights make the condo feel open and spacious. Don't worry about being on the top floor. There is an elevator to move your luggage and groceries up to your condo.
Sleeping
The master bedroom has a new (2012) king bed, and looks out onto the lanai. There are two twin beds in the second bedroom, and a queen-size sofabed in the living room. Capacity is 6 people.
Electronics
High Speed Internet (WIFI) is available at no additional cost and there are three flat screen TVs with cable, DVD players and a limited selection of VHS tapes and DVDs for all ages. There are also books and games if you want to turn off the electronics.
Food
Many restaurants are within a short walk or drive, and a fully functional kitchen is available for those who prefer to eat in. There are two tiki bars(Holiday Inn and Sanibel Inn) within a short beach walk in either direction where you can grab a quick lunch and other refreshments on the beach.
Extras
In addition to the linens and towels, we also provide beach towels, beach chairs and an assortment of beach toys so you can pack lightly.
Pets
We welcome pets, however we are limited to those of 25lbs or under due to condo association rules. A non-refundable fee applies. Call for details.

Why the Owner Chose Loggerhead Cay
I love the beach and our condo has a great view of the beach! Our Complex has the best pool on the island - good for lap swim. Our condo is on the corner of the beach and the courtyard and has vaulted ceilings. We love the views and the interior. You can see the beach from the living room and lanai, and also from the kitchen. It is a unique unit. We had fun redecorating it in 2004 and early 2005 due to damage from hurricane Charley.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Aside from the above, we allow small pets, we have WIFI and a great kitchen.
We love Kayaking at Tarpon Bay into the mangroves and boating to North Captiva to Barnacle Phil's, and to Cabbage Key.

We had a great time !!) We thought the Manatee park was the best!! The pool was great and we went in it every day. We also liked torent bikes. The condo was very comfy and we don't want to leave!! The restaurants and shops were excellent! There were many fun activities to do on the island and off. We always sept well and were up and ready for the next day.

Our family stayed here for a week. We loved the apartment and the beach was bliss. We saw dolphins and manatees. We saw armadillos, tortoises and turtles. The beach was beautiful there was no rain only sunshine and clear skies. We went fishing and caught mackerel and sea trout. Our family had a blast.

We so much enjoyed your condo on our vacation. The sunrises and sunsets were magnificent! We loved the walks on the beach, the sand was sooo soft. Even our puppy loved the sand too. We also had fun at the pool. It was very warm to swim in. We got a lot of sun bathing at the beach and the pool. The lanai was a nice place to relax and eat. The shopping on the island was great! We loved our time here at Loggerhead Cay!

We thank you and your family so much for the use of your condo. On our first night we walked the beach on a moonlit night and almost made it to the lighthouse. It was so beautiful we hated to stop walking. We rented bicycles for our entire stay and would highly recommend it to your future guests. It is the only way to see the island at a slower pace. We loved the food at the Hungry Heron, Timbers and the Lighthouse cafe'. Again, thank you for one of the most relaxing vacations we have had.

Had a great week in Sanibel, your condo being exactly what we were looking for. Very comfortable accommodations and a balcony that you just don't want to leave. Even though we are from Tampa, Sanibel makes you feel like you have experienced a place removed, really like a South Seas Island.

Just wanted to send off a thank you for your"hospitality". We had a very restful vacation and enjoyed the accommodations very much. The condo was very comfortable and just LOVED the view!!!! As you probably know, Sanibel is very quiet in Sept which was just fine with us as we were very, very tired and the peace and quiet was most welcomed. Grandma Dots was closed - we were disappointed but did enjoy the Over Easy Cafe for breakfast on Sunday - we think the best breakfast on the Island. Went to the Thistle Inn for our anniversary and thought that it was just lovely. Weather was very hot and humid on Sat, Sun and Monday - not a breath of air but after that there was a nice breeze so the beach was enjoyable. As you probably can tell, we had a great time and hope to be able to do it again in the near future. Thank you again!

Hi Rebecca, Just wanted to let you know we had a lovely time at your condo. The location and views were postcard perfect. The bed was surprisingly comfy as well. We always stress about that when we rent so it was a wonderful surprise to find the memory foam (that is what we sleep on at home as well). The wi-fi in the room was not working properly but that was not a big deal. Your personal touches were very thoughtful as well -- chairs, umbrellas, etc. We were so content that we left you and your future guests a nice kite that we bought in Ft Myers. Hopefully we will be able to use it again next year : ) Again, thank you. Alexander
